Most guests usually contact the hotel to complain. But in my case, I am actually compelled to write to express my appreciation! The Palazzo Montemartini has exceeded any and all expectations and although perhaps I should not be surprised, the staff added an extra touch-- with a rare combination of friendliness, courtesy and professionalism, most notable in the check-in and check-out process

Noisy neighbors in adjacent room and limited menu for rooftop restaurant

The hotel interior was super nice and cozy - literally a palazzo ! the rooms had high ceiling which was very nice. the location is super convenient very close to main tourist sites. the neighborhood , despite central, was quiet and not very busy which was perfect.

We had an amazing stay here! Booked for 4 nights to do some sight seeing and see a concert, was a fantastic base for visiting Rome, right next to the main Termini station for bus/train/tube access but equally a good location for walking / getting cabs about to the main tourist attractions and a nice area with some amazing places to eat just a short walk away. It was my partners birthday trip and the hotel were kind enough to give us an unexpected upgrade to an amazing room which made the trip extra special. The hotel is beautiful, the spa a lovely way to chill out after sightseeing, the food at breakfast was great and the room out of this world but what really makes the hotel stand out is the staff, so friendly, so helpful, everyone has a smile and can't do enough to help, they even arranged for a driver to collect us from a concert at the Olympic Stadium after midnight and get us back to the hotel which was above and beyond. Will definitely return if and when we go back to Rome.

Location was perfect 5 minutes from the central railway station in Rome.

The first night we had free bottled water, after that we were liable to pay for our water. I thought that for a 5 star hotel the water should be free. I complained about the principal of paying for the water. They said that they would cancel the water charge for me, I told them I had joined the Radisson rewards scheme and it stated it was free. Anyway I bought my own water from a local shop. It didn’t disrupt our stay and it is a beautiful hotel.

This is a true 5 star hotel. Everything is great from the moment you walk in the door. Very clean and spacious, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is a next level experience! The lady who handles the entrance and seating of the guests and the gentleman who is attends the tables deserve a special mention. They are very well organised and attentive to the guests. It was such a great start to the day that we rarely needed lunch as we went out exploring Rome in the day time! The location near Termini is another massive bonus. We were straight off the train from the airport and in the hotel within 5-10minutes. The line for a taxi at Termini in peak time can be very long. Having your hotel right there saves all that, plus you have access to both lines on the metro for exploring Rome. We stayed here twice this time around; at the beginning and end of our holiday around Italy. We will definitely be returning here when we next visit Rome!

We had a truly wonderful stay — the location couldn’t be better, just steps away from Termini station, which made getting around the city incredibly convenient. What impressed us the most was the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the exceptional professionalism of the entire team. Every staff member was kind, helpful, and genuinely friendly, creating a very pleasant and relaxed experience throughout our stay. A special highlight was the thoughtful surprise the hotel prepared for my birthday. Although I hadn’t mentioned the occasion, they still managed to prepare a lovely gesture — a complimentary room upgrade upon check-in was already a great gift, but the birthday cake with a candle and warm wishes truly made my day. It was unexpected, touching, and incredibly kind. The hotel’s director also deserves special recognition for the excellent communication and care. This level of attention and service is rare and deeply appreciated. Highly recommended — not only for the comfort and location, but above all for the genuine hospitality that makes this place truly stand out.

All the staff we dealt with at Palazzo Montemartini were very friendly, helpful and professional. They took our bags as soon as they saw us coming in, and gave us complimentary drinks and food while waiting for our room. Everyone spoke English too so I didn't have to use my broken Italian :) We ate at the breakfast buffet and it was awesome too, and we even got upgraded to a junior suite. The location is great with Roma Termini straight across the road, Museo Nazionale Romano, Terme di Diocleziano right next door, and Colosseum a 30 min walk away.

We had to leave super early in the morning to catch a train so we couldn't stay longer, but will definitely stay here again.

Palazzo Montemartini Rome was the perfect place of choice. We enjoyed our weekend so much, we didn't want it to end.. We felt warmly welcomed right from the start to the end. Staff were particularly exceptional, very polite, and pleasant. Perfect location, we shared the junior suite, very spacious and lovely, breakfast and dinner were excellent. Staff went the extra mile to make it special us. Being a 50th bday weekend, they surprised us with a champagne delivered to our room, helped us choose a perfect restaurant for our special dinner - Galleria, perfect seafood. The SPA was a great treat, awesome experience. Everything was beyond expectation. This hotel and their service was 110%.. We would surely be coming back and recommend it to anyone who is looking for 1st class or royal treatment.

I can't think of any. If I want to be critical, then it would be the car pack area infront of the hotel. For 5* it would do with uplift
