The location is fantastic. You can either walk everywhere or take the bus or metro if you want to reach out places more comfortably. The room was spacious enough and for the price actually really good. The breakfast was kind of a surprise for us, we didn’t know it was included and we expected the usual sweet cookie and coffee you get in Italy, but instead we got a lovely breakfast served by lovely workers every day.

The key to our door wasn’t working properly, we always managed to go in and out but it was a bit annoying to have to go to the reception and ask for help every time. Everyone was very helpful though and tried to help us.

Breakfast was superb, we expected the typical cofee and sweet pastries one but we got a full spread, all excellent. The room decor was a bit dated but who goes to Rome to sit in their hotel room? The AC worked a treat, it was quiet, beds were comfy and everything was very clean. But what really stood out (besides breakfast) was the excellent staff! Not only were they very friendly, they also went above and beyond accommodating our requests with a smile (coffee in the evening, glue for my broken sandal, and a wine opener). The location is excellent, only a few minutes' walk from Roma Termini and a big Conad supermarket for any last minute food souvenirs. I was also able to swap my already finished book for another one as they have a couple of shelves to browse through. I will definitely stay there again on my next visit to Rome!

Nothing, the hotel and its staff exceeded our expectations.

Accessing the Hotel gave us problems when we arrived from International flight mid morning (earlier than we had expected) The reception area could be seen through a closed door. It was in darkness and unattended A bell to ring for attention was not plainly marked and we did not recognise it. WE did not yet have Wifi access to ring A Lovely restaurant across the road allowed us to leave our luggage and we later lunched there Alex was in attendance at checkin after we had eaten lunch He said he had been present but upstairs all morning

Good size room. Friendly staff. Toiletries. Noise canceling windows. Good location, fare walking distance to attractions. Breakfast is good enough to start your day. While we were there, they were serving some bread, juice, some meats and cheese to share, one hard-boiled egg, one yogurt, coffee, and sweet bread.

No elevator, but I think most places are like that. Is not a buffet style breakfast. A server brings you the food, and you only get what they give you, I wanted another yogurt, but she said, "No, only one"

Great location in the center but quiet, just 5 minutes from Termini Station, clean, and the staff were truly exceptional. The receptionist gave us great tips for getting around, and the breakfast was delicious – the breakfast staff really brighten your day with their kindness

Nothing we didn’t like. After walking so many kilometers each day, an elevator to the 3rd floor would have been nice – but we already knew it wasn’t there, so we took it with a smile too :)

Hotel Alexis provided the most generous breakfast we've ever had in a European hotel. Our room was $113 USD/night and included a breakfast of salumi/cheese/tomato plate, bread choices, coffee (including cappucinos), other beverages, juice and pastry choices (including croissants and danishes). There were also cold cereal choices. Aline, the server in the breakfast room, was always smiling, cheerful and friendly. We used a subway/bus pass to get around to sights and Hotel Alexis was a very short walk to the Roma Termini. Even though there were several restaurants on the block, everything quieted down by 10 pm. An added bonus was that the restaurants hired strolling musicians who played in the early evening. It added to the ambiance when we were in our room and had the windows opened. The room was spacious and had ample storage.

Our shower drain was slow and it wasn't fixed during our 7 night stay even though we mentioned it to the maid.

We were very satisfied and can really recommend the accommodation. Close to the railway station and the metro. Quietly located in a side street. Everything was clean and tidy. A special highlight was the staff at breakfast: cheerful atmosphere and very friendly service! Thank you very much!

The light colours of the LED lamps on the ceiling and especially on the bed should be warm white rather than cold blue. Most people hardly notice this, but it could contribute greatly to a cosy atmosphere. However, that is also our only point of criticism 😀

The beginning was not great, because the lady at the reception desk was quite bored and not very nice. But she was an exception, the staff was great and helpful the following days. I must mention the lady, who served the breakfast, she is just lovely, smiling all the time, sometimes singing quietly. The breakfast with her was just a great start to a day. Breakfast itself is tasty, and there is enough food to be full, there is an egg, yogurt to choose, ham, cheese, and something sweet, for me great. The hotel and rooms are not modern, they are a little old-modish but very clean and cozy. In the bathroom all cosmetics that are needed, are added every day. It is near to Termini, different buses, and metro. Walk to Colloseum takes you about 15-10 minutes.

The room for four people could be bigger. But I knew it would be like that. Everything was very good.

The location is very central, 5 minutes walking from Roma termini. The room was very clean and spacious. It was very warm as well. Alina, the breakfast lady was soooooo great & happy. She makes your day start so good!

The breakfast was very poor. No fruits , no vegetables. 1 slice of cheece, 1 salami & 1 slice of ham. Bread , croissant juice , coffee, youghurt, butter, jam & honey. it is not a buffet and to serve breakfast to all the tables was taking time.

I liked that the hotel was very close to the Termini station and that made it easier for us to move around the city. There were small restaurants, cafes and stores in the neighbourhood. The staff was very friendly and polite. There was hot water all the time and the room was warm.

They managed to enter our room without knocking or asking if they could enter three times. Twice by unlocking the door themselves and once because we have left the key in the keyhole on the outside.
