The hotel is very nice designed. It is not a big hotel but very comfy. The stuff is very friendly, they even call you to suggest a taxi to the airport. Everything is very clean good soap shampoo and even hand cream in the bathroom. Breakfast is excellent !!! Location is good close to the Termini station and in a walking distance to some must see sights in Rome.

We booked a family room for 4 people. The room was small, with the additional bed open there was almost no space to move, and there was no enough space to put all the luggage in a side it was just standing at the entrance to the room.

The Republic Hotel is a good choice in Rome. It is conveniently located very close to the stations—just cross a street, and you’re at Termini Square, with access to buses and the metro. You can easily walk everywhere, even with luggage. The hotel is comfortable and has a good staff. Breakfast is delicious and of excellent quality. There are juices, pastries, bread—plenty of options, all very good. Perhaps adding more savory options would be nice, but the sweet items deserve high praise—the cakes are delicious, as well as the jams.

The rooms and bathrooms are not very spacious. We stayed in a triple room, and it felt a bit tight. There are no chairs to place luggage on, and the wardrobe space is limited due to the safe, making it harder to organize belongings. It would be great if the hotel provided folding chairs or luggage racks in the rooms, as well as a small trash bin (there was only one in the bathroom).

Good things about Hotel Republic - Breakfast spread is good. Breakfast staff is friendly. - Ample plugpoints provided for easy charging of gadgets. - Nicely functioning airconditioner. Even though it was cold, air circulation helped maintain comfort. - Bath rooms were good. with a bidet, and clean towels , and bathroom items.

- Location is a miss, atleast for tourists staying 3-4 days. Although it is claimed that the walk to nearby attractions is 15minutes, it can get tiring and tourists would prefer staying closer to the main tourist spots. - Although close to Roma Termini station, with large bags it is tedious to walk to the station, and since a taxi is required anyway, the 'advantage' of being close to Termini station isnt really a big one. - Front desk staff in the morning shift needed to smile and to present a friendlier image.

Hotel was very clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with a good selection of hot and cold food including scrambled eggs, rashers and Frankfurt sausage. Good location, just around the corner from termini station so public transport was easily accessible. Couple of good restaurants just across the road also

One of the reasons why we booked this hotel was because there was a bar. However, the bar was closed for the duration of our stay which was very disappointing. Particularly because there wasn't anywhere nearby to have a drink unless you were also eating.

I liked the modern facilities, as it was one of the main reasons as to why we chose this hotel. The room was spacious, given that there were 3 adults using the room. It was very clean and had all the amenities a guest could need.The breakfast was diverse in choice and very plentiful. The location was close to the main train station...excellent if you were catching trains but not as central, as l had thought, to the major tourist attractions. The staff were exceptional in their service and very friendly, full of great advice re how to get to attractions via public transport etc..they were wonderful in their assistance.

I would have liked to have had our towels changed on a daily basis rather than every 3 days or so. Three adults were staying in the room, which were showering daily, so fresh towels really were needed every day.

Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was fairly good with quite a variety & nice taste. The location was close to train and to the center or Rome by metro. Many shops and restaurants close.

We had a bad experience with a waiter in breakfast. He was very rube and offensive with us. We immediately reported his behavior to the manager and hopefully the next day the situation was changed. This is sad though, because the hotel is quite nice but the personnel may needed to be more polite in general. Additionally the location was not so good as you do not feel much secure especially during the night.

Convenient location. A rare (in Italy) small balcony (nice to have a little outdoor spot to take in a bit of fresh air) Contemporary, clean decor. A reasonable amount of surface/storage space compared to some of the hotels we experienced in Rome Decent value for the money at this time of the year in Rome

The stairs from the lobby up to the elevator are cumbersome. The shower door configuration made for an extremely small opening (fine for me, I'm a size 4, but not ideal for a man (even my partner who is broad shouldered but not huge) A VERY strong smell of smoke in the lobby when we left at 7:00 a.m I can only assume that the night staff smokes on the premises :(

This hotel is a gem. It's located 5 minutes' walk to the Termini station. It's modern and clean. Our room was cleaned daily. It has a very nice breakfast buffet. What it also makes this place especial is the staff. They are amazing. They were kind and helpful, especially Frabizio from the breakfast room. He went the extra mile to make our stay better (excuse me if I got the name wrong). We are a family from Kuwait, and I felt welcomed, and they always answered all my questions. Nearby, there are restaurants, little shops, etc.

I can't say anything bad about this hotel.

The location very good for moving around Rome and back to airports. A few hundred meters from Rome Termini, with all the trains, airport shuttles, and excellent food place Mercato Centrale at hand. Breakfast - good with a good selection of food for most tastes.

Only instant coffee in the room. Hard to spot coffee cups at breakfast.

fantastic location & very clean. breakfast selection was good, staff were helpful & available.

outside area a bit messy but still better than many other big cities.
