Most guests usually contact the hotel to complain. But in my case, I am actually compelled to write to express my appreciation! The Palazzo Montemartini has exceeded any and all expectations and although perhaps I should not be surprised, the staff added an extra touch-- with a rare combination of friendliness, courtesy and professionalism, most notable in the check-in and check-out process

Noisy neighbors in adjacent room and limited menu for rooftop restaurant

The hotel interior was super nice and cozy - literally a palazzo ! the rooms had high ceiling which was very nice. the location is super convenient very close to main tourist sites. the neighborhood , despite central, was quiet and not very busy which was perfect.

the rooms were a bit small - and the showers were not very practical.

We had an amazing stay here! Booked for 4 nights to do some sight seeing and see a concert, was a fantastic base for visiting Rome, right next to the main Termini station for bus/train/tube access but equally a good location for walking / getting cabs about to the main tourist attractions and a nice area with some amazing places to eat just a short walk away. It was my partners birthday trip and the hotel were kind enough to give us an unexpected upgrade to an amazing room which made the trip extra special. The hotel is beautiful, the spa a lovely way to chill out after sightseeing, the food at breakfast was great and the room out of this world but what really makes the hotel stand out is the staff, so friendly, so helpful, everyone has a smile and can't do enough to help, they even arranged for a driver to collect us from a concert at the Olympic Stadium after midnight and get us back to the hotel which was above and beyond. Will definitely return if and when we go back to Rome.

Great service and location, we enjoyed the room with the special design, our room was a bit loud as facing the delivery area when having the window open in the morning but in general nice, great breakfast

Nothing to complain about, surroundings save but typical surroundings of a mainstadion

Rooms are beautifully designed, modern yet timeless, with high ceilings, elegant décor, and a calming color palette that immediately puts you at ease. My room was spacious and meticulously clean, with thoughtful touches everywhere: high quality linens, comfortable bedding, an excellent espresso machine, and well-placed lighting that created a relaxing atmosphere both day and night.

I would only suggest improving the check- in efficiency during peak hours. If anything could be improved, it might be adding a few more personal touches in the room, such as fresh flowers.

The entire stay was amazing! From the time we walked in the front door of the hotel! The staff were extremely nice and attentive the entire trip! The room was perfect for our 30th anniversary trip and the spa treatment was fabulous and relaxing. No matter where we went they ensured we had a taxi. I highly recommend staying here!

Honestly, there wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property except the swimming pool was small, but completely understand the concept. It’s part of the spa 🥰😘

Absolutely excellent hotel! The staff was super and extremely friendly. The staff is very competent and professional. The hotel is immaculate and the rooms are large, comfortable and clean. The bed was a king and it was very comfortable. The breakfast is outstanding. The breakfast room is a large dining room that is incredible. It's such a wonderful place to dine. In summary, this is a high quality hotel that is very comfortable, quiet and clean.

The price! The city tax is a kick in the nuts upon check out. Ten Euros per day per person.

Location was perfect 5 minutes from the central railway station in Rome.

The first night we had free bottled water, after that we were liable to pay for our water. I thought that for a 5 star hotel the water should be free. I complained about the principal of paying for the water. They said that they would cancel the water charge for me, I told them I had joined the Radisson rewards scheme and it stated it was free. Anyway I bought my own water from a local shop. It didn’t disrupt our stay and it is a beautiful hotel.

This is a true 5 star hotel. Everything is great from the moment you walk in the door. Very clean and spacious, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is a next level experience! The lady who handles the entrance and seating of the guests and the gentleman who is attends the tables deserve a special mention. They are very well organised and attentive to the guests. It was such a great start to the day that we rarely needed lunch as we went out exploring Rome in the day time! The location near Termini is another massive bonus. We were straight off the train from the airport and in the hotel within 5-10minutes. The line for a taxi at Termini in peak time can be very long. Having your hotel right there saves all that, plus you have access to both lines on the metro for exploring Rome. We stayed here twice this time around; at the beginning and end of our holiday around Italy. We will definitely be returning here when we next visit Rome!
