Most guests usually contact the hotel to complain. But in my case, I am actually compelled to write to express my appreciation! The Palazzo Montemartini has exceeded any and all expectations and although perhaps I should not be surprised, the staff added an extra touch-- with a rare combination of friendliness, courtesy and professionalism, most notable in the check-in and check-out process

Noisy neighbors in adjacent room and limited menu for rooftop restaurant

The hotel interior was super nice and cozy - literally a palazzo ! the rooms had high ceiling which was very nice. the location is super convenient very close to main tourist sites. the neighborhood , despite central, was quiet and not very busy which was perfect.

the rooms were a bit small - and the showers were not very practical.

Great service and location, we enjoyed the room with the special design, our room was a bit loud as facing the delivery area when having the window open in the morning but in general nice, great breakfast

Nothing to complain about, surroundings save but typical surroundings of a mainstadion

Location was perfect 5 minutes from the central railway station in Rome.

The first night we had free bottled water, after that we were liable to pay for our water. I thought that for a 5 star hotel the water should be free. I complained about the principal of paying for the water. They said that they would cancel the water charge for me, I told them I had joined the Radisson rewards scheme and it stated it was free. Anyway I bought my own water from a local shop. It didn’t disrupt our stay and it is a beautiful hotel.

All the staff we dealt with at Palazzo Montemartini were very friendly, helpful and professional. They took our bags as soon as they saw us coming in, and gave us complimentary drinks and food while waiting for our room. Everyone spoke English too so I didn't have to use my broken Italian :) We ate at the breakfast buffet and it was awesome too, and we even got upgraded to a junior suite. The location is great with Roma Termini straight across the road, Museo Nazionale Romano, Terme di Diocleziano right next door, and Colosseum a 30 min walk away.

We had to leave super early in the morning to catch a train so we couldn't stay longer, but will definitely stay here again.

Location was perfect, room was lovely, very spacious and comfortable, friendly helpful staff and little extras were very special. Thank you x

Palazzo Montemartini Rome was the perfect place of choice. We enjoyed our weekend so much, we didn't want it to end.. We felt warmly welcomed right from the start to the end. Staff were particularly exceptional, very polite, and pleasant. Perfect location, we shared the junior suite, very spacious and lovely, breakfast and dinner were excellent. Staff went the extra mile to make it special us. Being a 50th bday weekend, they surprised us with a champagne delivered to our room, helped us choose a perfect restaurant for our special dinner - Galleria, perfect seafood. The SPA was a great treat, awesome experience. Everything was beyond expectation. This hotel and their service was 110%.. We would surely be coming back and recommend it to anyone who is looking for 1st class or royal treatment.

I can't think of any. If I want to be critical, then it would be the car pack area infront of the hotel. For 5* it would do with uplift

The property is gorgeous in an outstanding location. The SPA is a treat. They also upgraded us to a junior suite, which was very lovely indeed. Breakfast was delicious, and restaurant staff in particular were excellent.

Cleaning was inconsistent and sometimes sloppy. The manual for the shower (yes, it needs a manual) could be improved. Never got the hamam feature to work. The matras was exceptionally hard though. It certainly affected sleeping.

The hotel is exceptional,friendly and helpful staff.

With all due respect, we received a free upgrade to an amazing room. However, we originally booked a specific room (Suite with pool) due to the pool included inside the room itself. The upgraded room we got, even though bigger in size, huge balcony and just amazing, did not have the included pool. We wouldn't have paid the amount of money that we did, in the case of knowing that we wouldnt have said pool.

Amazing hotel. The location is just across the train station. The rooms are amazing. We got a free upgrade to the Noble Suite which was OUT OF THE WORLD. It was so grand like a palace of my own. The spa was amazing they had all the facilities.

The only thing I didn’t like is that we had no water in our room. YES, no water in the taps, showers, toilets, etc. the staff was very cooperative about this and informed us that it is due to the construction near the train station. We were without water for the entire day. The staff was generous enough to give us key to a different room to use the washrooms and bathrooms.
