Best location is Osaka!!! It would be hard to top this location. You can access to the hotel from an elevator at exit 18 of the subway, which is a real advantage especially when it rains a lot. Family mart on the 2nd floor of the hotel. Bed was comfy. Hot shower worked well. Easy check-in and check-out. We had a pleasant stay.

The room was really small. I’m 165-cm tall and my husband is 171-cm tall and I think we both are considered as average sized. We were a bit struggling to move ourselves in the room. The luggage can only be fully opened one at a time. But I would still stay at this hotel again because everything else was perfect.

Apa hotel was close to a mall and dontonbori it’s like 20 minutes walk, the room was big if you are a solo traveller.

The fridge freezer didn’t work even tho I turned the switch on. It took like a while for my water to get cold.

Hotel is in very convenient location on a cross of two metro lines (red and green), one exit from metro leads directly to the hotel. Hotel is easily accessible from Kansai airport. Hotel is very clean, there is a Family Mart inside and 7Eleven just outside. Everyday you receive clean towels and pyjama (yukata). Breakfasts are served from early morning till 10am and are a mix of japanese and european style, quite tasty.

The place itself is not nice, close two highway estacade. Rooms are very small (japanese style) and unfortunately my room had a view toward neighboring building (just one meter from my window was a wall of neighboring house). It is around 30 stories building and in rush hours the elevators are very busy, sometimes you have to wait 10-15 minutes for an elevator. There was no working wifi in my room, although I made a complaint at reception.

The location was excellent! Right near Midosuji street which looked adorable with all the Christmas lights. We usually ended our nights with a cup of coffee from the Starbucks nearby and a nice walk, or some 7/11 :) Probably the best out of all :) Our room had a nice view of the street, which was a plus. The hotel is located near a metro station, but we usually explored the city by foot. Staff was very nice to send a follow-up message, about some things we forgot in our room.

We found some stains in the bathroom that looked like blood. Staff did not speak much English, so we never received an answer of what that was. We went to Tokyo after our Osaka trip, at another APA hotel. But we accidentally checked-out a day earlier from our Osaka hotel than supposed to. Would've appreciated a refund for the night, since the hotel was not overbooked & we paid extra at the same hotel chain.

Breakfast was incredible. Access to a local convenience store and the subway was literally on the doorstep. So very useful. Access to clothes washing facilities also super important to me. Overall, very pleasant stay. Felt safe for solo female traveller. Very easy baggage storage on day of check in and check out. Staff were incredibly helpful and kind. Very clean and well presented hotel.

If you're okay with staying somewhere that resemble student halls (in terms of size of room) then you're good. The bathroom was small and I struggled to get in as there was a huge step into the bathroom - after a long two weeks of lots of walking, my poor legs struggled. I particularly struggled with getting in and out of the shower/bath which was a very high sided bath. I also managed to flood the bathroom on day one as the shower was so small and the curtain not great. It was also frustrating having to wait approximately 10 minutes for an elevator at some points of the day. Even though there were a few lifts available, they always seemed very busy. Overall, really excellent value for money - if you can deal with a few frustrations.

This hotel has the Hommachi subway station directly under the hotel,so it's great if you're taking the train from Kansai airport.From Kansai airport take the train to namba station then take the Midosuji line to Hommachi station..Also the hotel has a Family mart on premises and a 7/11 just outside on the corner..And if you like walking it will take around 25 minutes to get to the Glico man sign.,or take the subway only 2 stops away in 5 minutes to namba station..I would stay here again if I returned

The location of the hotel is in a great neighbourhood, not that far from all sightseeing locations, cafes and restaurants. 3 minutes on foot is the Metro access, so you can go fast in any direction, in 15 minutes to Osaka station and Shin-Osaka station, if you are catching the Shinkansen train. The hotel restaurant was good, the variety of choice for breakfast. Aim to get the room on the higher floor of the hotel, the view is amazing, especially at night. The size of the room was ok, clean, with all necessary amenities. On the second floor of the hotel is "Family mart" store, working 24/7.

There are 5 elevators in the hotel, and still the waiting time is long sometimes, especially during the check-out time. The room cleaning service is every 3 days (they will on a daily basis provide you with the clean towels), but the bins are too small, if you have a couple of plastic water bottles, you will fill the bin in a day, or two maximum.

Most of the time you cannot go wrong with an APA hotel. I stayed at 3 APA hotels during this trip and the service was amazing. Affordable, comfy rooms (if you have a lot of luggage those might feel too small), AC, help forwarding luggage, keep their luggage for you before check in, you can pay extra for early check in. most of them have amazing locations near train stations, (for this one, I remember that I had to walk a little bit more since my destinations were not a match with the nearest transportation available) staff is amazing and some of them have laundry machines. Weird take: I loved their shampoo. 10000/10.

Great easy to get to location (there's literally a metro in the basement). Breakfast was a little pricey but nice and with loads of options. I didn't try the spa or pool, but they're probably good. Everything was really clean and staff were very nice. Oh the shower was really good!

It's a bit of a noisy area, although it is right in the middle of downtown Osaka; there's a little traffic noise that seems to get in through the ventilation though, whenever there's loud motorbikes or emergency services going past. It's not hugely loud, but it's there. The room wifi was really slow, I tried it and then just switched to using the hired wifi device I had with me instead. The room wasn't very big, fine for one person, I think this is kind of standard in Japan though, at least in Osaka and Tokyo.

The hotel is in a convenient location, close to a metro station and in a neighborhood with surprisingly nice restaurants just behind it. The staff was friendly, and it’s a big plus that you can leave your luggage for free before check-in or after check-out. There’s a small supermarket in the building, as well as a restaurant with decent food. The room itself, although compact, was well equipped — with a huge TV at the foot of the bed, a comfortable mattress, and daily fresh towels delivered to your door handle.

Despite being a large and tall hotel, the lobby felt undersized. With only four chairs available and limited seating elsewhere (like the pool area, which closes early), it was hard to find a spot to sit or make a call outside your room. The room was very small — fine for a short stay, but cramped for two people over several days. Also, the elevator situation was frustrating: one evening we waited over 15 minutes just to get up to our room due to peak-time crowding, despite the hotel having multiple elevators. This seems to be a recurring issue around check-in and breakfast hours.
