It says it is a 3-star hotel but definitely offered at least 4+ quality with how staff are, facilities, breakfast and location. Breakfast was fantastic, staff were very kind and helpful, location the best - very near Midosuji street that is the main street running through the city, that leads to main attractions. Crysta underground shopping area, Senba shopping mall just 5-10 mins walk away. Shinsaibashi shopping arcade, Dotombori (restaurants, street food and shops), Amerikamura (hip area with second hand shops) are about 15-20 mins walk away. Close (5-10 mins) to Honmachi metro station. Very central and lovely hotel. We stayed in another hotel in Osaka previously and werent happy so we took a chance on Prezio, it was a much better stay. Great food options at breakfast, free amenities at the lobby, washing machines and kitchenette with microwave on 5th floor. It was a very clean hotel and our room was also very clean. Very calm room, wonderful bed (it was such a good and comfortable bed after walking 20-25K per day) and AC worked the best out of all hotels we stayed so far in Japan. Room cleaning staff were the best. Definitely worth every penny, recommending this lovely hotel.

We travelled from Australia and this was a great stay for my partner and I, (I am 6ft3 keep in mind) we had 2 large suitcases and we had more than enough room for both of us. It’s not a large room, and it’s not a small room, it was the perfect size, and felt very cosy. We stayed for 6 nights and we had booked other accomodation for the period, but we were unhappy with it as we arrived, and decided to leave, we booked this accomodation online on the day and checked in 20 minutes later and the value for money was very fair. The staff were exceptional and always around to help when we needed it. We felt very safe as we had keycards that were needed to unlock the entrance, the elevator and the door to our room. The hotel was very close to the Shinsaibashi Mall strip, and was about a 5-10 minute walk at most, and we were also about a 5 minute walk from the nearest train stations. The Check in/out was extremely fast and easy and every day the staff provided us with clean pyjamas, towels and complimentary water bottles. There is also washing machine facilities, vending machines, and ice dispensers on level 5 and level 9 which were easily accessible and easy to use. (the washing machines had a QR code that you could see on your phone the availability of the washing machines/ how long was left of the cycle) If we were to travel back to Osaka in the future, we will 100% be staying here again!

Clean room and nice breakfast. Staff was helpful in arranging for early check in by paying an extra fee. Free hot and cold drinks available in lobby and amenities too. Excellent washing machine.

The location. It is in between Honmachi and Shinsabashi Station. Either side you have to walk, especially to the shopping streets in Shinsabashi, a good 15 minutes walk. Nearest metro entrance is eight minutes away and the walk is on the streets, uncovered. Nearby areas are quiet at night especially during weekends. Not too many restaurants nearby and many are closed on Saturday and Sunday, and no major shopping malls either.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Shizutetsu Hotel Prezio Osaka Shinsaibashi, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the cleanliness and attention to detail in every aspect of the hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome right away. The location of the hotel is simply perfect. It’s within walking distance to Shinsaibashi, a bustling area filled with endless shopping and dining options. Whether you’re in the mood for some retail therapy or want to explore the local cuisine, everything you need is just a short stroll away. One of the highlights of my stay was the comfort of the bed and pillows. I had some of the best nights of sleep I’ve ever had while traveling, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The room itself was well-appointed with all the amenities you could ask for, adding to the overall comfort and convenience. Overall, my experience at the Shizutetsu Hotel Prezio Osaka Shinsaibashi was outstanding. It’s a fantastic choice for anyone looking to stay in Osaka, offering a perfect blend of comfort, cleanliness, and convenience. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to the city.

The staff was excellent. They were very helpful and nice. The amenities provided were more than we expected. Everything that one might need, was available and/or can be borrowed from the Reception. The buffet was a typical japanese food. For our first time stay in Japan, it was a good start to sample their delicacy...from takoyaki, cold and warm noodle, different kind of katsu, soup and dessert and some mix of bread, pancake and eggs. Over all, this hotel is highly recommendable!

A variety of breakfast offers should be introduced. For peoplenwho stayed more than 3 days, it gets boring after a while..no matter the taste. The room is small for the price. The location is on a quiet side of Osaka, therefore the choices of restaurant were limited, but not so bad. There was s a restaurant in front of the hotel, that has a very long line of customers waiting each night

-the staff were so friendly and helpful. They were really great! -the room was bigger than other hotels and it was very comfortable and clean -breakfast was incredible. Would highly recommend. You can get some traditional Japanese breakfast foods with typical Osaka food and also western food options. A great value -I like that they were eco friendly where you’d take packets of the amenities of what you need from the lobby daily. And if you opt to not clean your room, they give you a bag of new towels etc. -laundry machines were good. No need to bring your own detergent

I loved staying here! Not exactly a con but it is a small walk to the closet train station but I honestly thought it wasn’t too bad and there were a bunch of stores, restaurants, there’s a cat cafe and a family mart nearby. It’s an easy commute to Osaka station and to dontonburi (you could even walk there actually, it takes about 30min)

Very comfortable hotel for a short stay in Osaka, situated in a slightly calmer part of Shinsaibashi but still with a number of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Good metro connections to the rest of the city and a relatively short walk (25-30 min) to the heart of the action at Dotonbori - and a pleasant walk at that since it takes you through Shinsaibashi-suji. Check-in was easy, staff very friendly and attentive. Rooms were on the small side but perfectly comfortable and clean. Good quality-price ratio overall. We had breakfast in the hotel which was very nice and accommodating to most tastes with a mix of classic Japanese breakfast options, Osaka street food and some more Western options.

Size of the rooms mean it may not be ideal for longer stays, but for a short visit to Osaka like ours that was absolutely not an issue.

Loved the location and the breakfast

A fantastic hotel located within a 10 minute walk of the metro, and only 15/20 minutes on foot from Dontonburi and the main shopping district. There are also a host of smaller boutique shops and restaurants on your doorstep. The hotel itself is very modern and clean, with friendly staff an on-site restaurant - they had just started a lunchtime buffet service, which cost 1,900 Yen and was all-you-can-eat. Definitely worth trying this if you're staying at the hotel. There are also on-site washer / dryers, which take card payment as well as cash. The room was of a good size, the bed was comfortable, and daily cleaning was included in the package. Considering we visited as Japan entered into its peak season, the price was very affordable.
