It's located right next to Exit 24 of Honmachi Subway Station. Super close and convenient! A public onsen was also included in the price and the mineral water was amazing! It really helped me relax my muscles after a day of walking and commuting.

They didn't allow people with tattoos to use the onsen facilities, but this wasn't specified on the booking page. My sister-in-law and her boyfriend weren't allowed to use the onsen and weren't offered a discount either.

We booked through Booking and stayed for 4 nights (09/05 to 13/05) on a “Double Room - Non-Smoking”. The room matched the price we paid (around ¥9,500) per night, it was the cheapest accommodation of our 15-day trip, yet comfortable. Although it was indeed very small (12 square meters), we could still open 2 medium suitcases and a cabin luggage one without issues. As a lot of people pointed out, you get to pick 5 amenities every day so we got a few face masks and relaxation sheets that were a great add-on post-onsen sessions! The bathroom was very small, but since we visited the onsen every night we didn’t need to use it. We opted for not having room service, so fresh towels and a bottle of water were put on the door hang every day. Honmachi station is big, the best exit (if you don’t carry heavy suitcases) is the exit 24. Otherwise just set google maps with “wheelchair accessible” and it will point you out to the best exit.

I have mixed feelings with the pillow choice. Although I appreciate having different levels of softness to pick, we found them all gone for most of the days and the pillow that is in the room is not comfortable at all, it’s quite weird to be honest :P So I was glad I managed to chose one on the very first day when doing the check-in. Breakfast was good, the hotel staff including everyone from the kitchen were extremely kind with us and we had absolutely no problems to communicate. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

Really liked the convenience of the station entrance being so close and the dotonbory street only like 20 min away by walking.

I didn’t like that the onsen does not allow tattoos and no where in the booking states that. The family mart that is at the base of the hotel is never really fully stocked. And the station is kind of confusing to navigate. Also the pillows are really hard.

The property was in a great location. Access to the metro was right at the doorstep of the hotel. Easy access to various metro lines. Their motto was “Natural, Organic, Smart”. This hotel abides by this standard. From the moment you walk in, you already get the feeling you are in a spa by the relaxing aroma you experience. You are given various amenities to choose from, including pillows and yukatas. Access to the onsen is available, for both men and women on separate floors. What a relaxing experience when taken at the end of a busy day! Room was clean and small but this is typical of a Japanese hotel. Bed was very comfortable. They had a recycling bin in the room which was very ecologically smart. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Always greeted with a smile. For the first time in Japan, I am glad this was my first hotel that I stayed at. It is definitely a “Super” Hotel!

Nothing to complain

Friendly staff, nice with free complimentary amenities. The staff speaks English and there is ample English signage in the hotel. The hot spring was really nice and relaxing. I can feel a difference soaking in it compared to regular water! I had achy feet from walking 20,000 steps a day from sight seeing and soaking in the hot spring made them instantly better! There is a dedicated women’s only floor which makes solo female travelers feel safe. The room was very clean for an older hotel. Some of the fixtures are worn or stained from age but they have been very well maintained. The pillow was some kind of bean bag filling and hard but it supported my neck well and I had a good night’s sleep. The air conditioner works well and did not blow stale or moldy air. There was a clean humidifier/air purifier in the room. This hotel was a great value. I like the concept of a spa business hotel for singles.

The rooms are older and cramped.

Hardly met the staff but it’s fine, everything you could need is packed out on the check-in floor - during check-in, it’s also explained. The room was clean, the spa was really nice and also clean. You get fresh towels and tooth brush every day on your door. Location was really good, subway entry is just right before the building. The convenience store is just on ground level of the building. The elevator is pretty quick, the bar is free from 17-21 (though I didn’t find the time to try). The room is small but that’s expected, it’s Osaka. Absolutely recommended! For check out you only need to put a magnet on your door that you checked out, really convenient!

The onsen hot spring and the included breakfast

Upon check in, I was early by a couple hours. That was ok that I could wait but I came in totally soaked from the rain. I told the person at check in and asked for a place to dry off maybe change clothes. She offered the bathroom in the lobby. After staying there and learning of the area on the 4th floor for ladies to dry their hair after the onsen, it would have been nice to offer me that facility to dry my hair, warm up a little. While I stayed no one was ever in that room.

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Rooms were small but standard for Osaka. Room was well equipped and had everything you need. There is an Onsen which is great after a long day of visiting sites. Getting to select your own pillows was good. Lots of amenities. Staff was kind. Dining/general lounge area was great, spacious and the free drink in the evening was a nice touch.

We wished it was a nicer onsen - considering the hotel is marketed towards having a nice onsen, it was smaller and less equipped than expected.

Cozy hotel with small Onsen! We stayed here for couple of nights and used this as our Osaka base. Price was great and the hotel offered more than it cost!

Room is quite small (which was known beforehand) and the default pillow (single one for couples - filled in with beads) is not for everyone (but they offer change pillows in lobby +++)

* There's free drinks at the restaurant area in the evening, great for those who drink. * At the lobby, there's a coffee dispenser. * A convenient store is located right beside the hotel, super convenient!

The location stated is at Osaka Hommachi Station, however this is exit 24 which is about 15-20mins if you drag your luggage through the underground walkway. It is easier to take a lift at exit 18 with your luggage then drag it to the hotel on the pedestrian walkway.
