Spacious room with large television, nice modern design throughout including bathroom and shower. Capsule tea + coffee machine was very convenient.

It may be unfair to point this out if it's common practice, I'm not sure if it is, but I arrived 45 minutes before the standard check in time. I was very tired after having just travelled for 5 hours, and asked if the room was ready. I was told it was, but that it would be an extra ¥1,100 to check in early. I fully understand charging for late check out, and for early check in if you have specified you want it in advance, but I think it is poor service to charge for checking into your room less than an hour ahead of time when I have already arrived and the room is sitting ready to go.

Excellent front desk service with English speaking staff, very responsive and helpful. The location of the hotel is great, very close to Namba district and nearby subway stops.

Very uncomfortable mattresses. Since most of the time in a hotel room one spends in bed, this is the bed that plays the key role. Unfortunately, the bed mattresses at the hotel Cordia are very, very soft, absolutely unsupportive to your back, as if you were on a sponge, doing harm to your spine. The surprisingly great - on the other hand - pillows do not change a thing. With a weight of 60kg and 75kg I can’t imagine how it could feel if you’re heavier. Such cheap mattresses are not only unhealthy, but simply a miss saving practice in hotel industry.

The mattress is one of the softest - too soft and Not firm. You sink into it when you sit or lay down it’s not very good for people with back problem. Even for me that is fit it is not good for my back.

The beds wwere fantastically comfy, very soft like I like. After many hard beds in Japan this was a treat (I actually treated myself to a far more expensive hotel before this one as a bed was overly hard before that and it's bed was not close to this one. The location is pretty damn good though there is not much attractions right at the hotel you are only 1 trainstop away or 12 min walk away from where all the atractions start. The breakfasts were made to order and you have a few choices, there are some limits on things like yoghurts and fruit bowls etc but all in all pretty good. They can cater to vegetarians to a good result (actually decent food rather than food with the meat taken out and nothing left to enjoy). The lifts worked fast and from memory it would have good wheelchair access. Room was good sized. I would absolutely stay here again. We spent 6 nights here.

Not much to say.

Nice and spacious room, comfortable bed with outlets in a location that makes sense(which is rare). Clean roomy modern shower (that even had towel hooks!, again - rare). Very close to a metro station with three major lines that made it easy to get to most places in the city and to major train stations. Lots of delicious and affordable restaurants within walking distance.

The location was pretty convenient being close to the metro, but the hotel is in more of a business district, so you're not close to any of the city's attractions and the neighborhood is pretty dead in the evenings. There's no lounge and you can't eat in the lobby, so the only place to eat os a tiny table in the room that barley seats two.

Very clean, really good condition. Good size and location, couple of minutes walk from the metro line. Internet was great. We had our rooms cleaned everyday. Reception and breakfast staff were always so lovely and friendly. Was able to send luggage on to the next hotel and they rang ahead to confirm everything. Loved the complimentary toiletries that came with the room (bottled water, toothbrush, hairbrush etc). We used the laundry room twice and these were great, clothes don’t get completely dry but hanging them up with air con on all night had them dry by morning. Absolutely loved staying here and would do so again.

Breakfast was absolutely fine but there wasn’t many options without egg and my partner can’t eat it. Would have loved coat hooks on the wall. These things are minor.

The hotel rooms were pretty spacious by Japanese standard with a little desk sitting area. Although the hotel is not centrally located, it is within 2 min walk to subway stations. The staff is courteous and willing to help.

The bed was way too soft, and I was waking up with back pain. I know this is a matter of taste, but I have never seen a hotel mattress being this soft. I wouldn't mind a pillow top on a firm mattress, but in this case, I was sinking in good 10 inches. Perhaps the mattresses are too old and need to be replaced. There is a soda station but no coffee. And no tables or any congregation space for a family to have breakfast or snack unless bought from the restaurant on premises, we found this inconvenient.

I loved how comfortable the bed was! It was pretty spacious for a hotel in Japan! I also loved the shower! Overall a great stay experience for me! Breakfast was well-thought out and I love the concept as we you wouldn’t waste any food!

I didn’t like the washer dryer machines, they did not dry my clothes at all so I ultimately had to drape all our clothes dry a few more days. It would’ve been bad if I had to use clothes the next day. Trash was confusing for us… we would ask for our room to be cleaned while we were out all day. Before we left, we’d even leave all our trash near the trash bin by the door so they know it’s trash… just to come back from a long day and none of the trash is taken out of our room. During our entire stay I would have to bring down all our trash to the front lobby & ask them to throw it out. Maybe I missed the memo as to why they don’t touch our trash. Perhaps they thought it was our belongings? Other than that, everything was awesome!

The location was great for us. We got in from the airport and were still able to do a bunch of touristy things that night close to the hotel. The hotel was able to store our bags in the morning before check-in. The front desk staff were extremely helpful with shipping out bags to the next hotel as well as answering all of our questions about the area.

We have nothing negative to say about the hotel. We loved the location and the price. I will say that we did only stay one night as a layover - and did not try any of food options. I wish we could have spent more time checking out the hotel amenities.

The hotel is located near Hommachi station (4 min walk), where you can take the lines to some of the main areas of Osaka. There are also convenience stores just as close. The staff was always lovely, extremely helpful and spoke English. We had a double bedroom which had enough space to open 2 large suitcases on the floor. There was a small refrigerator, kettle and a desk. When cleaning the room, the staff always left 2 500ml bottles of water, which was always pleasant, considering the hot weather. The bathroom was decent sized, with a walk in shower, with back massager and options for handled shower or rain shower. The mattress was very soft, but it was surprisingly comfortable. There were two types of pillows to chose (all on the bed) a softer memory foam one and another, a bit more rigid. The breakfast was very good, with five options (apart from a curry, the other were more western, with a variety of toasts and bread). On top of those choices, you also had fruit, yoghurt, cereals, tea, milk and juice. During the day, the breakfast area also functioned as a bar.
