Hotel is conveniently located near two metro stations which give direct lines to Umeda, Namba and Shin-Osaka (for the shinknansen). Our room was very clean and was serviced everyday. The japanese and western breakfast buffet and staff were excellent. There are quite a few good restaurants and cafes around the hotel which are highly rated on Tabelog. Would definitely stay again!

If there was anything missing for us it would be a washing machine. Luckily there is a good coin laundromat less than 10 mins walk away.

Lovely warm welcoming staff a special mention to Anil who was outstanding. Lovely modern & clean rooms with a clever design layout.

The only issue we had was with the beds which were rock hard & terribly uncomfortable...same with the pillows which practically had no fillings

Outstanding Stay – Perfect Location, Exceptional Service, and Delicious Food I recently had the pleasure of staying at Voco Central Osaka and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure a smooth check-in and a warm welcome. Their professionalism and friendliness truly set the tone for an enjoyable stay. The room was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable experience. The bed was incredibly cozy, and the attention to detail in housekeeping was impressive. I appreciated the thoughtful touches that made the stay even more special. One of the standout aspects was the food. Whether it was breakfast, in-room dining, or a meal at the hotel’s restaurant, every dish was flavorful, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. The variety of options ensured there was something for everyone, and the quality was outstanding. The location was another highlight. Being just a short walk from Higobashi Station and bus stop made it incredibly convenient to explore the city. Whether for business or leisure, the easy access to transportation was a huge advantage. A perfect location just outside of the main hustle and bustle. Modern, comfortable rooms with a huge bathroom which is always a bonus when travelling for a longer period of time. Space for both of us to put our belongings which is also rare in Japan! We also were very grateful that we could order room service after very long days out and that we could access streaming services on the tv. Lovely staff and lovely decor! Metro stations also very nearby, as well as convenience stores, a bakery and other shops.

We absolutely loved this hotel. It's very new, modern, and comfortable. Location was good, but it's not in one of the busy or touristy areas. However it's in a great position to reach all spots by public transportation (bus station is 2 mins away and metro 10 mins away - both lines). We actually liked to be outside of the main busy areas. We had the corner room with tatami and it was great. Very big for Japanese standards, comfortable and clean. Big bathroom. Overall we'd highly recommend this hotel.

The corner room with tatami had no view. The windows had a cover so we weren't able to see anything outside. I understand it's for privacy as it's close to another building but it was a bit odd. There is no wardrobe in the room which wasn't great for our 4 nights stay. The room is big enough so it could definitely fit a wardrobe.

This hotel is pretty new, it looks really good, decor inside is very stylish. Its pretty easy to find, within walking distance of 2 train stations and quite close to Osaka station (about 30 minute walk). I did upgrade to a king room and it was great. Very spacious room. Bathroom has bath and walk in shower. Toilet is fanciest one I experienced in Japan (heated, lifts lid for you, night light etc). There is a tv with normal channels (i noticed some hotels only have youtube or chrome cast type set up, which sucks if you just want live tv). Its also nice and quiet location so you can have a good sleep. Food was really good. We had breakfast at the hotel and dinner once too. Breakfast had japanese or western option to chose from (set meals) and a buffet on top. Nice variety of dishes. Dinner is more italian and very tasty. We also booked the use of their onsite garage for our rented car and it was really easy to use. Great hotel!

There is no lounge at the entrance so if you want to sit in the lobby it means that you need to sit at the restaurant or in the bar. I had to work while on vacation so they let me sit at the bar table. I was told at 22:58 that the bar is closing at 23:00 so I had to leave (although it's in the area of the reception and not in a divided area). Breakfast at the hotel restaurant is overpriced compared to what you get.

Staff are friendly, helpful, professional and speak English. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Location is decent with the Higobashi Station closeby, lots of small cafes, restaurants scattered amongst the surrounding streets. Mutiple 7-11, Family Mart, plus a pharmacy and a supermarket within a stone's throw away. Each floor has a water refill and ice dispensing machine, which is something I found really handy. IHG members get late checkout at 2pm which was a great help as I needed that bit of extra rest on my last day. I liked the theme of the interior design, but this is something subjective and varies depending on the individual.

There can be the occassional loud motor cycles passing by on the main road during night time, but it didn't affect me at all. And it's Osaka afterall and lots of main roads/streets would face similar situations.

It’s a spanking new hotel . Chic , beautifully designed spaces. Clean and convenient. Nice restaurants on the adjacent street . We had our best Italian pizzas right next door at Saint Lucia. The staff were very helpful. We interacted mostly with Ms Nagamuchi and she speaks great English and was very resourceful. The hotel is in a quieter part of Osaka. It is easier to get a train or taxi to the busy parts. About 10/15 mins to Umeda station or Dontonbori by cab.

I wish it was a tad bit closer to the busier parts to walk everywhere but it’s still very beautiful and accessible.

We love it so much!!!! every inch of vocoHotel are designed with care we love every details of the hotel color matching, tiles, materials matching, even staffs are all kind and friendly seeing every single details makes us happy We thought booking via booking.com are not illigible for collect IHG member points, but hotel staffs told us that we able to collect points too even booking via booking.com that's great!! Will definitely keep choosing IHG hotels wherever we go!!!
