Room was comfortable and well furnished. The room was extremely clean and well maintained. They had water dispensers on the 8th floor and vending machines for drinks. The hotel was right next to a convenience store (Lawson's) and a Matsuya, which is open until 1 am. The location was great as the entrance to the hotel was literally right across the street from one of the metro exits. Incredibly convenient for going to the Expo 2025 as the metro was literally 1 stop away from the main line which went directly to Expo.
The area was a bit quiet. There were a few restaurants and bars around but it was not a busy area. Breakfast was from the restaurant next door and wasn't particularly amazing. The hotel also asked you to select when you wanted to have breakfast already the night before to prevent over-crowding. In our experience this was unnecessary as the restaurant was never full, but it did cause a bit of stress to wake up on time and not snooze to prevent missing breakfast. .

The hotel was lovely. Clean and well set out. There was free coffee and tea in the lobby. Umbrellas were loaned to us. It was very near a metro station and convenience stores. The breakfast in the restaurant was good.
The beds were quite soft which is unusual for Japan. Pillows were fine. Room was small (to be expected). Scrambled egg at breakfast was cold which I thought a little strange?? Is it supposed to be cold? Not the hotel, but the area. It is quite a walk from the main train station and there’s nothing in the area apart from a couple of restaurants and convenience stores. So if you want night vibes, probably not the best location.

This is the 2nd time staying here and still best hotel i stayed at in Japan!! the room is HUGE for Japan - we could open 2 big luggage’s and had space to walk around. The location is super convenient, there is one station just 2 minutes walk away and another station 7 minutes walk away. If you have a luggage, the roads are easy to pull the luggage along. The stations also have lifts/escalstors so no lugging your big suitcases up the stairs. The beds are super comfortable, we had issues dragging outselves out of the bed. It was also clean! The shower is huge and the rain shower head has a mode that completely changed my expectations of a rain shower. They also provide free coffee in the lobby :) Definitely a highlight of my trip in Osaka, and would recommend this hotel to anyone!

The room was a good size, very clean and more space than I was expecting. The window at first glance appeared to be frosted but when I looked again I was able to slide that window along and there was a normal glass window behind it. I think the frosted window is for privacy as there is a big office block opposite. I was also worried about the light from a huge sign outside but this appeared to be switched off around 12pm. The bed was comfortable. The location was very peaceful but it was Golden Week when we were there. Breakfast is in a nice restaurant on the ground floor. I think this room was really good value considering it was in a major city. Great location for the riverside park walk. And subway.
I didn't like the neon light outside. I should have brought an eye mask. But the sign was turned off around 12pm.

The hotel seems almost new so the facilities were clean and excellent and the rooms were of an average size for Osaka. The location was good with a subway line only 50m away and the main subway line only 400m away. There was a convenience store across the road and lots of great restaurants to the west of the hotel. It was also a short walk to Umeda for shopping, or the river where there is parklands, cafes, and restaurants. On our last visit we stayed in the heart of the Dotonbori area but this time it was nice to be in a quieter part of the city and use the subway instead.
There was only 2 combined washer/dryers in the laundry room so occasionally we had a bit of a wait to use it. Apart from that I’d definitely stay here again.

I rarely give 10/10 but I think that the location had it all and it is hard to find negatives unless you are really picky. Highlights: Reception staff accommodated all our requests, free coffee downstairs, cheap option to wash clothes (I see people complaining that only two washers are available but I think that is great that the hotel offers this option but you can also try to find a location somewhere in the city like most hotels in the world tend to do or just pay for dry cleaning....), the bed was very comfortable, very close to two metro lines that takes you to Osaka Station and Shin-Osaka stations, yes breakfast is expensive but you are surrounded by a variety of options if you want cheaper options, including the supermarkets and last but not least, it offers good value for money.
We booked two rooms, and room 907 faced a billboard. I recommend better curtains that totally block the outside lights to have similar sleeping experience like on the side where room 912 is.

The breakfast was wonderful and well made and balanced. Our favorite part about our room was the shower, although that is a close tie to the comfortable beds and pillows! This hotel thought of everything and has high quality amenities. I would absolutely book here again.
The ONLY complaint I could even come up with is the washer/dryer combo on the 8th floor. Those units are not great overall and this place may find guests can get their clothing cleaned more efficiently with a separate washer/dryer. After 2 dryer cycles our clothes were still pretty damp.

Our stay at Hotel Cordia Osaka was wonderful. From the day we arrived, we were promptly greeted and checked in by the friendly staff. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean and had all the amenities one would need. We booked a Hollywood Twin Room and it had plenty of space for us and all of our luggage. The location of this hotel is in the central Osaka area. This made it easy to access transportation and provided plenty of restaurants in the area. For the price, we could not have asked for more. The hotel has an attached restaurant where we ate breakfast every morning. They have a menu with five dishes that they serve, plus you can grab cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, and drinks from the bar. My wife and I tried four out of the five dishes and they were all tasty. The portions were enough to satisfy you without making you feel lethargic. Overall, this has been one of the best international hotel experiences we've had. If we ever find ourselves back in the Osaka area, we will definitely consider this hotel again.
The Japan sun is extremely bright and shines early. A better solar blocking shade for the windows would help keep the room darker in the mornings.

Brilliant stay! The room was large (compared to Tokyo). The room was clean. The bathroom was clean with a great large shower and a vanity unit. There was an option for breakfast which we did not have, and facilities for laundry, microwave, free coffee and vending machines. They offer amenities for the room including body wash/shampoo, razors etc. Great location with only a minute walk to the station, easy to get the train around Osaka and a 5 minute train journey to Dotonbori. Staff were friendly. Recommend to stay here!

Oh wow huge rooms. Lots of space and the first time where my daughter had her own bed which was great. Super comfortable beds. Metro train within a few steps from front door easy to use to get to sites/ universal etc. Lawson across the road for quick bites etc and great restaurants/place to order food very close also. Breakfast I struggled with as it was not buffet but order style which I struggled with due to diet issues but other than that was a great stay.
The breakfast order style prefer a buffet style
