The Staff are very polite and provide excellent service- even if you don’t speak japanese. 😁 Very very close to the east exit of the shin-osaka train terminal. Very clean and efficient use of space inside the rooms. Deep tub (for japanese style bathing -not for tall people) Very good and very hot water in tub/shower. Laundry room is good for single loads/ each but had 5 washer & 5 dryers stacked. Room TV displays the public bath occupancy level which is very handy. I recommend the breakfast at their restaurant- good selection AND quality.

Don’t expect a view- this hotel is great at what they do which is provide ease and comfort of traveling businessmen/women. (We weren’t here for the view so for us it was an excellent HUB for localized touristing)

We stayed at APA Hotel Shin Osaka Ekimae in April and found it to be very conveniently located—just a short stroll from Shin Osaka Station if you take the East Exit. This made getting around super easy. The rooms are quite small, and the bathroom is very compact, which is typical for business hotels in Japan. One downside we noticed was that we couldn’t control the room temperature. Since it was cooler outside but warm inside the room, we had to tilt the window open to let in some fresh air, which helped a lot. A special mention goes to the front desk staff. My wife accidentally left her wallet in the laundry room, and we only realized it was missing the next day. When we asked at the front desk, they had it! As per their policy, they removed the money for safekeeping, but they returned the wallet to us with every single cent, even using a calculator to confirm the exact amount. We really appreciated their honesty and professionalism—huge shoutout to the staff and the person who turned it in. That kind of integrity is rare and made our stay even more memorable. Overall, a good and reliable choice for travelers who want convenience and great service.

Yes the rooms are small but so well equiped and the small space is used efficiently. We even had an international plug in socket so I didn't even have to use my adapter. Amenities are on point, the hotel is situated next to Shin-Osaka so very easy to move around. Hotel personnel is very nice, we were able to wash our clothes and iron them. One of the evenings we went to their restaurant which had exquisite food, very good. We also had one morning where we were lazy and went for the hotel breakfast: I wasn't a fan but that's mostly because there was a lot of local savory food and I am more of a light breakfast kind of person but my partner loved it so it goes to say don't judge it till you try it.

The hotel has a great location, very close to Shin Osaka station, so you can enjoy the city from there, coming by train or shinkansen. You can also find some restaurants and the rooms are ok. Also, the amenities are nice, in the rooms and hotel itself.

The rooms are quite small, and if you stay with 2 persons, it will be a tight place to stay. They are clear about it, but you need to keep the luggage under the bed. Also, the bed is not comfortable, it looks old or just "very used". The hotel is also crowded, so the elevator can be busy by rush hours.

The location is the best part. Walking distance to station. I like that they allow storing luggage before check-in time. There’s a Family Mart & other shops nearby the hotel. Express check-out. Staff is friendly. Room is OK but max person should be 2 cause the room is small. They do clean your room daily and give new towels daily.

Small room, feels like cramped in a sardine can. We stayed for 4 days and every morning we will wake up to a loud siren coming from police cars/ambulances/etc. Please refrain from using the elevator during checkout time (10am) because it will take more than 30 mins to go down.

The location was very good. It is about 5-7minutes from ShinOsaka shinkansen train station. There is also the metro line in the same building of the JR train station. There are many foods shops in the train station area.

Their website and paper maps don't show clearly which train exit to go to this hotel. Besides, they have 2 entrances or you can get into this hotel in two ways. But the hotel guests carry their luggages from the station. So it should be clearly indicated which exit of the train station to get out and which way is the closest way to arrive at this hotel. I saw some tourists from abroad are going to another direction and at last find this hotel's entrance although it is very close from the East exit to this hotel and they are using the google maps as well.

- excellent location, only about 3 minutes' walk from the east entrance to Shin Osaka station - convenient spa accessible throughout most of the day for no extra charge on the second floor, super simple to drop in and out in 15 minutes - 4 elevators ensure you almost never have to wait too long to transfer between floors - heated toilet seat is a boon during the colder months - generously sized bed despite the conservative room dimensions

- rooms could have better sound isolation, shinkansen was audible throughout the day, although not that big of an issue since I usually went to sleep after midnight when the shinkansen stops - temperature insulation wasn't great, I had to turn up the heating every evening to not feel cold from the closed window - toilet feels cramped and a little too small - optional breakfast seems overpriced, I opted for konbini food instead

The location is very convenient, just a little bit of walk from the shinkansen platforms. Although Shin-Osaka Station may seem busy and overwhelming, the hotel is just tucked away close to the east exit of the train station. I really like the location because there are many restaurants and convenience stores surrounding it. The staff were some of the friendliest APA hotel staff I have encountered. The hotel room was very clean and very comfortable. Though it was a business trip, I felt very comfortable and was at home.

I do not think there is something I disliked about my stay. Thank you for accommodating me even though it was just a one-night stay. Please keep up the good work and hope to stay with you again in the future.

The breakfast was good and I’m glad English was on the tags so I didn’t have to interrupt staff to avoid my allergens. It was close to the station which was helpful in a rainy day like the one I arrived on. The rooms were clean and the onsen was INCREDIBLE. The building design was great. And the hot water kettle was clean and easy to use in my room. Wish there was a room with two beds though.

Superb location, less than 2 min walk from east exit shin osaka station. My 2nd time staying at this hotel, for 11 nights !!! Clean and tidy, new towels were provided daily, though I personally think it's quite a waste.

For a few nights, guests next to me kept banging things around the room at midnight and caused some nuisance. Complaint to the front desk and they immediately responded though there isn't any need to take actions as the guests left after 2 nights.
