The location is super! Really close to the Shin Osaka Station and there is a 7-11 right next to the hotel for midnight snacks!! Staff were also great- there was a male receptionist who spoke super English and was really helpful. There was also a big bear and some decorations for photo taking in the lobby. The room design was also nice with a colour palette that reminds one of tender sunsets and calm sunrises. Loved the small corner sofa I had in my room. The hotel had all you needed.

The name is easily confused with another nearby hotel. Future guests remember not to rely on Google Maps to look for the CENTRAL EXIT and that is where you wanna go. The staff at the other hotel under the same via inn brand were super well prepared and gave us a map with coloured printing so that we were able to find the right hotel. Just bear in mind Shomenguchi = Front/Central (Shomen) - Mouth/Exit (Guchi) = Voilà Central Exit

Super close to the shin Osaka station. There is a trick though. You need to go to the lowest level and go right and under the bridge. Don't go through the parking lot. Even though it is close to the shin Osaka station, the shin Osaka station isn't that convenient since other stations act as the hub for multiple lines. We just stayed here because we had 3 large suitcases and didn't want to transport them through the metro.

The room felt small compared to some of our other japanese rooms. It was bearable but with 2 adults and a child and three large suitcases, it was tight.

The location was superb - literally 5 minutes away from Shin-Osaka Station and even only 1 minute away from the local subway. We had a Seven Eleven Convenience store at ground level in the Hotel building. The staff was very nice and helpful and also managed to send our luggage from Osaka to Tokyo via Yamato Takkyubin for only 40€ in total. The hotel lobby was also very clean, entering your room floor was only possible with the hotel key card, so no unauthorized persons could enter anywhere. The rooms were standard Japanese sized, but exceptionally clean! Every necessity was provided and the interior was very modern.

Our rooms were located facing a busy street, so late night noise was inevitable sometimes. As many comments already mentioned "motorcycle gangs" - we can just confirm that from time to time there were very loud motorcycle sounds late at night. The trains weren't running at night, so we only heard them occasionally during operation times.

Just like what other travellers have commented that it was not easy to locate the hotel as it was written in Japanese only. Perhaps, some specific directions on how to get there from Shin Osaka station would bring the rating up and eliminate any frustration. Take Central exit, look for Osaka hotel which is right next to Via Inn Shin Osaka, walk towards the hotel on the right, there is a walk way which is partially under an overpass. Once we discovered the walkway to get there, it only took 2 minutes to get to the station.

The hotel is just a few meters away from Shin-Osaka Station, which is very convenient for travelers who prefer to take the train rather than taxis. The hotel staff are very accommodating and communicate well. The best part is there's a 7/11 attached to the hotel at the ground floor.

The bathroom is compact but completely understandable since it's a standard Japanese bathroom. Taller guests might have a hard time taking a shower. But aside from that, all amenities are complete and the overall stay was comfortable.

This hotel is literally across the street from Shin Osaka train station, which made it so convenient. My room was fully equipped and good size for Japan. It was clean and comfy.

The only drawback was that you had to go to a restaurant in the train station for breakfast that was included. I got lost but found it eventually and it was OK. Not great but it was free.

1) I love how they have an external HDMI port for their TV. That's a feature I've been wishing for during my past 15-year travels. 2) I love that they have an 7-11 at 1F of the hotel. 3) They collaborate with a Cafe at Shin-Osaka station for breakfast. It's nice. 4) The room is clean. Service is nice.

It's a bit too close to Shin-Osaka station in terms of noise. But proximity was also the reason I chose it.

Very convenient location 2 min walk from Shin Osaka. We only used room to sleep as arrived late and left early. Good size, has a desk. Reception area looked nice, lounge for residents but we didn't have time to try.

You can hear trains go by intermittently but that's to be expected for convenient location so close to station. Osaka trains stop around midnight so quiet after that.

Near to Shin-Osaka train station. However, there are 2 Via Inn hotels. One is near the East exit. This VIA INN Shin-Osaka Shomenguchi is near to the central exit. You have to take escalator or lift down to the ground floor then you look for Starbucks. From there, take escalator down and then turn right. Walk to the end of the building then turn left and then walk about 1 minutes, you will see 7 eleven and the hotel is just next to it. Please take note that no bottles water is provided for all Via Inn hotels.

None, except I hope staff could speak English and inform me that there are two different Via Inn hotels near the Shin-Osaka station so that I would not have gone to the wrong hotel in the first place.

The property is right next to the station.

check-in is done via machines. Breakfast is not served inside the facility. When we went to the nearby café for breakfast, we were the first to enter and asked to be served quickly, but after 20 minutes we still hadn’t received anything, so we left without eating.
