I have been to Osaka four times, and Brighton is one of the best. While it is a few stations away from Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori area, it is near Umeda and Osaka Castle. It is also 100 meters away from Kitahama Station of the Sakaisuji/Brown Line of the subway. It is a perfect location for families with elders or small children, since the surroundings are quiet and there are convenience stores and food stalls right across the street. The rooms are large enough for a small family and luggage. It is well-kept and relatively new, with room service available everyday - just press the “Make Up Room” button before you leave. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is modern. I especially liked the no-fuss and functional facilities, however they could increase the laundry area since it was always full, but it’s probably because it’s peak tourist season. The best part about our stay is the hospitality of the front desk. We arrived very late and we left behind a luggage at the airport, so my husband went back to KIX with our passports, and missed the last train/bus back. The concierge was kind enough to let me and my 4-year old son check-in the room to rest. I forgot to get his name to commend him, but I hope this review gets to him and the management. Thank you very much. Lastly, they give out free drinking water bottles at the lobby. Just get whatever you need and it gets replenished regularly.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and polite. There were many facilities available on the floor such as microwaves and ice machines that made it very good for travellers such as myself during the summer. Having 2 separate convenience stores right outside the hotel makes it great for dining in your own room on a lazy day. The room had a great view. The location right by the train station made it a great access spot.

For travellers who arrived carrying heavy luggage, you do have to carry it for quite a while to reach the hotel as there are no escalators/elevators at the exit close to the hotel. Also those who arrived via Shin-Osaka do have to change a few times on the metro or purchase a separate ticket for a single change.

A comfortable room with a bar fridge and excellent bathroom. Supplies of toothbrush & paste, razors, hairbrush etc. There are also microwaves and wash and dry machines. Great location close to Kitahama station and easy walking distance to Yodoyabashi station. There is a Lawson & 711 across the road but also a fresco grocery store in the Kitahama plaza.

The room was clean, locations was near a station for easy transport and staff was very friendly, kind and helpful! Very quick to help! Room was also quiet and I would say the halls were really quiet and not too much noise could be heard outside of the room.

I really enjoyed my room! It was large and I booked 2 separate rooms for myself and my sister. We booked very far in advance and the hotel was great. The staff were super caring when my sister got sick and we had to figure out how to get her to a clinic and get to our train on time. Looks as pictured.

My only small negative is the laundry rooms can fill up. You enter a code to lock the machine - so if another guests starts laundry and never returns - it can cause issues for other guests trying to clean their clothes. I wasn't able to clean some clothes until 10:30-11PM - and it takes 2 hours. You just have to think about timing - most people will probably be trying to clean their clothes at night after a day of exploring.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The staff who helped me find a doctor’s clinic on Saturday morning were very supportive. Even though we couldn’t find a suitable clinic in the end, they left detailed instructions and information on how to find and book a doctor when we left the next morning. It was incredibly useful and helpful. I’m truly grateful for their assistance.

Everything was perfect. Close to two train stations (closest 260m). Convenience stores directly across the road. Restaurants & Cafe's close proximity. Free water bottles from reception.

One thing to avoid is breakfast. Very poor, very limited and expensive. Way too cheap!

It is right next to the station, very clean hotel. Rooms are much bigger than Japanese hotel rooms. People work there are very kind and supportive. I would stay again ☺️
