The location is awesome, Don-ki is the at the corner, and a lot of restaurants near by, it's very easy to get some food. Also there's cooking place with complete equipments and living room in the hotel, so you can enjoy your eating time there. Hotel is equipped with public bathhouse.

The walls aren't very soundproof, it's easy to heart any voices made by other rooms, you'll need earplugs (hotel will provide you with free earplugs). The women's public bathhouse only opens to 22:00 at night so I have to get up early to use the bathhouse (If you want to use the shower rooms, that opens 24hrs no worries).

Close to train stations, subway, shops and Shinsekai. Lots of common space and a nicely decorated terrace. The facility has been renovated, which is visible in many aspects. Even though there are only four showers available for all customers, sometimes you only have to wait a few minutes.

One small elevator that moves slowly - sometimes it was quicker to use the emergency stairs as the building does not have an internal staircase. Women's toilets start from the fifth floor. When choosing a Japanese-style room I expected tatami, but there were wooden floors.

The accommodation looked very nice. The receptuon area had a common area with microwave and coffee machine and tables. Looked very nice. There was a shower area on the same level. We stayed in the room on 10th floor with realy nice view. The room was… tiny for 2 prople. I mean 2 futons side by side didnt fit the room. Lucky for us we are quite compact. The staff was nice although English was lacking so Google Translate was handy. Location was great though. Shops and takeouts near by. Walking distance to Osaka tower.

Tidy room, even on the 10th floor with openen window we were hearing car driving by loudly like we were on the street. The AC was producing weird smell when on. Mans bathroom was bit dirty.

The place is super well located, you can go almost anywhere interesting in Osaka in a few minutes. It is also good if you plan to stay in Osaka but make small trips to other areas for the day like Nara. The rooms are small but nice and comfortable. The common areas are clean and the staff is super nice and helpful. I specially liked the female shower rooms that have a little private space to change. Overall a great deal in price and location, and if you are like me planning to travel around all day it is a good place to stay and rest for the night.

I would have liked the rooms to have a little mirror. There is a bit of noise because of the various train stations around but it ends around eleven, so it is not a big deal. Everything else was fine.

Room rates are very affordable, with a bathhouse in-hotel. Has a cooking area complete with stove, microwave, and pots and pans. Has laundry machinese also for those who need to do their laundry. Very close to stations Shin-Imamiya and Dobutsuen-mae. Walking distance to Tennoji Zoo, and a bit further for Namba area. Has ramen stores in the vicinity, and multiple convenience stores nearby.

Room walls are very thin, I can basically hear the snoring from the next door occupant. 😂 Check-in is strictly until 11pm only. If you arrive after that time, there is no reception/front desk available.

After 2yrs not able to visit Osaka, I am glad I returned for the 3rd and 4th time... stayed here on 13-15 and 17-24 July...room 507 and 504 Very convenient from Nankai Shin imamiya station about 160 Yen from Namba station and it’s just about 3-4 min walk just make sure you go out from west exit or Nishi deguchi... close and convenient to shinsekai, tennoji park, Tsutenkaku Tower, convenient and cheap food food from 24hrs market... Loved the facilities provided, complimentary coffee, tea and cold drinks, facilities to cook your own food...the hotel management has their customer needs in their mind and for budget solo travelers like myself this is excellent I’d definitely like to return..じゃまったね、 To the staff and management 本当に ありがとうございまじた!! 何が じゃま が 会ったら 本当にすみませんでした!! お疲れ様でした!! 頑張ってね!!

Pillows too soft but it’s still ok... some guest don’t keep the communal toilet sink clean on the guest room floor but it’s still ok... it is cleaned and it is still a clean and comfortable place to stay

It's a good price for a single bed room. A little bit small but it's okay since you'll be travelling a lot so it's not that bad for a room to stay. You'll get a free coffee,tea on the first floor and a share bathroom that kinda good for the price you pay. And the best thing is it's near the JR & Metro station.

The smoking smell is kinda bad in the corridor. Sometime the noise from corridor will get in and because it's near the station you will hear a lot of noise from the station but it isnt that much they give you free earplugs too

The families where outstanding, everything was cleaned everyday without fail. The staff were very friendly, Accommodating and willing to lend a help when needed.

Futon mattress was great, though an added foam/air mattress under to add layer between you and the hard floor would be swell.

Solo travelers, pay attention. Hotel Zipang is a great value. Rooms are small but comfortable. I arrived 4 hours before noon check-in and they immediately gave me a room. The sento was well-stocked with soap and shampoo. I have tattoos but they did not mind (I have been turned away from other sentos because of this). Coffee is good and free. Ground floor facilities were very nicely put together. Staff did not speak English so learn some Japanese. :) Location is not perfect but the hotel is very close to two subway lines, JNR and Nankai rail service. Highly recommended. I will stay here next time I visit Osaka. :)!!!

Room could have been a bit cleaner but not really an issue.

I always loved where the hotel is located just 2-3 min from JR/Nankai Shin imamiya station. So convenient that is why I keep coming back to the same hotel. Can’t wait for the 6th visit

I think the pillows need to be replaced with bit more firm type... I understand that it’s seem to be made from plastic straw...
