The restroom in booking put that the bedroom has a private bathroom but the reality is that are shared bathrooms outside the bedroom (capsule).

The location is superb, just right beside the JR shin imamiya train station.

Booked one of the private room with private bathroom as part of the facilities. However, it wasn't really private bathroom afterall, the bathroom is not attached with the bedroom. You have to use the bathroom located in another floor, and they are shared with the rest of the guests. I hope you can refined the facilities details regardingthe definition of "private bathroom".

Close to 2 different metro lines. Slightly better than a shared dorm, or a capsule hotel. Only barely though. Cheap enough, but the price on Booking is 2x what they charge in person, so go offline to save extra. At that price point, 2200 yen per night, it's probably well worth it despite the shortcomings.

Wifi was very bad. "Private rooms" have 200cm of space above the door. Perhaps to let A/C come in from the halls, as rooms do not have their own units and will get hot. The problem is that every floor has a smoking section, which means that the smoke from the smokers will flow into your room, since heat rises. I asked for non smoking, assuming it meant no one smokes in my room. I didn't understand that they put a space in the middle of the entire floor so that people can smoke. A centralized space, not a room with a window. They put me in a room 2 doors away from the smokers lounge. As well as the putrid smoke which you would expect from this proximity, i was also extremely bothered by the noise from teh sliding door. The smokers do not consider how they are being loud or smelly, and they slam the door all night.

The room itself is cold and dirty. You’re sleeping on a thin mattress on a metal sheet. The room says you get a private shower but the shower is on a totally different floor. There is also a decent sized gap above your door so you can hear everything going on in the corridor. The only positive is it’s the train station

Disgusting, by far the worst place i stayed in 20 or so different places in Japan and i left a night early (room rates not even cheap). Unclean, whole floor stank of cigarette smoke, unfriendly atmosphere and staff did not even question my early departure (must happen a lot). AVOID AT ALL COSTS
