The location of the hotel was very convenient, situated in between Namba station and Nipponbashi station. Mimaru is clean and comfortable, and I especially appreciated the following facilities within the family room: - big dining table where we could enjoy meals when too tired to eat out; - washing machine cum dryer within the room; - kitchenette which allowed us to cook simple meals. The hotel also provided free coffee and soft drinks, that was very welcomed. This is not the first time our family stayed at Mimaru chain of hotels, and each experience always kept us satisfied.

One of the beds in the master bedroom creaked whenever I moved on the bed. Otherwise, no other complaints, we loved staying at Mimaru!

Excellent location, which is a short walk from the nearest train exit. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff is very friendly and polite. The plue point which I really like is their coin washer and heater. It is so convenient, and it has a coin dispenser, which you can exchange with a note. The facilities and services are the key I want to return for my next stay. Highly recommend.

Having a water dispenser would be perfect

The location was fabulous and there are many food options just within walking distance. The rooms were clean and the laundry room was absolutely a god-send. Staff were helpful and friendly

Excellent location close to train stations and in a great area. Walking distance to Kuromon Market, Sennichimae, Dotonbori. Excellent staff that were welcoming and gave us great recommendations. Nice and clean hotel with a fun board game theme. We really liked the room layout and we chose a room with a washer/dryer which was great. The bunk beds were solidly made.

The beds were too hard in the bedroom with 2 beds and the platforms creaked with every movement, and we woke up each morning with back and neck pain from the beds. We are usually fine with Japanese beds including a Mimaru in Tokyo, and the ones at the other hotels we stayed at were comfortable.

Super convenient location and people are fantastic. We loved our room with the traditional tatami. Special thank you to Maria and Fafa for their help with everything.

Love the location. It is near dotonbori but is located in a quiet area. Kuromon Market, Namba is within walking distance. All Mimaru hotels have a similar feel. They have everything you need. Laundry, mini kitchen (we get to cook our own food), spacious for Japan. But love that each one has a unique selling point. This particular hotel has a board game theme. Even the vending machine has a drink guessing game. Everyday, the kids would play boardgame concierge to get a chocolate price. One can also win a boardgame. Uou can also borrow the board games and bring it to your room. They have mysteries to be solved as well.

I hope they put vacuum cleaners in the hotel similar to other Mimaru branches in Tokyo.

The room was very nice and spacious, beds were comfortable, kids loved the bunk beds, the bathroom was big and clean. the position of this hotel is perfectly located, we were within walking distance to lots of eateries, convenience stores and major transitions. Coin laundry within the property was a lifesaver for our family. The best thing about this hotel is definitely the staff, their attitude, their knowledge and their energy they bring to work, a truly wonderful team. we loved this place so much we extended our holiday with this hotel. special thank you to Maria for taking so much care and attention to organising our room to make it a very special surprise for my sons 9th birthday. it will truely be a very happy memory for all of us for a very long time. it really set an higher expectation for our next holiday

Incredible location ( and I spent a long time worrying about where to book!) Walking distance to so many areas and about 5mins walk to Namba station. Shops, little arcades and restaurants right outside the door of the hotel, as well as 7eleven, so close, and Lawsons, too, so no need to have to use the metro with tired children, at night! Spacious room ( one bed family loft with bunk beds) with excellent sound proofing. Amazing board game area and general hotel games -cute idea. Laundry facilities were so handy. Staff were so welcoming and helpful. Would 100% stay again if we’re lucky enough to return to Osaka.

Nothing at all -solid all rounder!

This was our third stay at a Mimaru hotel in Japan, and there are two main reasons for our repeat stays: the apartment hotel room layouts that are perfect for our friends group trips, and the top-notch, friendly Mimaru staff, who always go above and beyond to help with anything they can. (Special shout out to our man Louis at the Kyoto Nijo Castle Mimaru in March 2023, who gave us the best restaurant recommendations and set us up with dinner reservations and taxi arrangements for an early morning tour!) Continuing that trend, the front desk staff at the Mimaru Osaka Namba Station were exceptional and went out of their way to be helpful. They were all wonderful, but in particular for our stay, Maria provided great information for the day trip we were taking to Kurashiki, which helped us know how best to use our time there. And when one of our group became ill, Maria was also helpful in locating a pharmacy with the medicine we required. And then when our friend needed to find a local hospital, Josh was incredibly kind and helpful, providing translation aid and information, and following up to see how our friend was doing after. I cannot say enough good things about all of the attentive, friendly staff there. Needless to say, we would be happy to stay at another Mimaru again in the future, and we will recommend them to anyone we know traveling to Japan.

Excellent location, Great room size with a separate bedroom and living room which was truly convenient. All amenities and facilities were readily available. Top notch cleanness of the room every day, including toilet and bathroom. Smiling and helpful staff ready to give tips or help when and where needed.

- we reached the hotel around 11AM, our room was ready but since check in was 3PM, they made us pay 5000 Yen to get in the already ready room early (and yes we agreed to pay coming from a 15+ hours trip to reach our destination). That is the first time in 30+ years travelling that I witnessed such a behavior. - beds were a bit too hard
