Our rooms were big & spacious! :) Furnishings were nice, clean and look quite new too. We got so comfy that we stayed in on a few mornings and had leisurely simple breakfasts instead of heading out early (our kitchenette was pretty well stocked with pots, pans, plates, bowls, cups, cutlery, etc). And the inroom washer cum dryer machine was a big plus for us. There are a few convenient stores around the hotel, Lawsons is just across the street from the hotel entrance at the corner, and from Lawsons' entance, you can see 7eleven across the road, Family mart is around at the back of the hotel. Entrance to Crysta Nagahori underground shopping arcade is just in front of Lawsons, there are restaurants, cafes and supermarket along the stretch, plus it links to several subway stations and to Shinsaibashi shopping area.

The pillows were a bit too flat, would be nice if they were softer & more fluffy

Convenient location near to metro station, which made it very convenient both to travel within Osaka and out (Nara, Kobe etc) without having to make many changes. Also had convenience store at the doorstep and many options for eating places close by. Staff were also great and always friendly and helpful - they helped us book a taxi to USJ, and there were also games (Jenga, Uno, blocks) to rent which my kids really enjoyed. Coin laundry/dryer was right at the lobby and we never had to wait. Staff also rented us a toaster and everything else we needed to make simple meals was available in the room, for evenings that the kids wanted to eat in. Beds were firm but comfortable and the bunk bed felt sturdy. Kids also enjoyed baths every night and the heater and humidifier were easy to use, so the room was a perfect temperature for us.

Room felt small, but that’s probably standard for Osaka.

The location was an excellent choice for all our activities. The N line was very convenient for us especially for shopping at the underground stores and going out to Kyocera Stadium. Also having many 4 convenient store options was great! Enjoyed having some of the activities for children at the hotel as well.

-The pillows were very flat and not comfortable. -Dimmer lighting options, like lamps for the room would have been nice so as not to disturb those who went to sleep earlier. -Entry was very narrow and no place to put our shoes when walking in the door since the bathroom door was right where you entered as well.

The room we got has a couple of small hallways compared to other branches, giving it a little bit more privacy entering the main door and bedroom. The beds are comfortable, and the toilet is clean. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The building is situated in a quieter area of Shinsaibashi but still walking distance to the busy Dotonbori and shopping districts. Bonus: They have a cool samurai setup in the reception area!

The walls and ceilings are a bit thin, and we can hear heavy footsteps from the top floor. So if you're a light sleeper and have noisy kids as neighbours, it might be a problem. Despite having windows and a balcony door, there are almost no views to see as it is surrounded by high office buildings.

LOVED the staff - they are all so friendly and helpful and accommodating and take time to give you directions and answer all your questions. The room was perfect for a small family with a bunk bed and two single beds all in one bedroom. The kitchen and lounge/dining was separate from the bedroom, which was great for getting children to bed while the adults stayed up. Loved the kitchen - kettle, microwave, full size fridge and freezer and cutlery and crockery. The laundry facilities on site were fantastic and meant we could wash part way through our trip. Location amazing - a conbini across the road, two minutes to the nearest metro train, which provides regular and convenient transport around the city. Crysta Nagahori is also very close - an underground shopping mall with excellent family friendly restaurants that gives you an underground passage between metro stations. Short walk to Shinsaibashi suji too. We would highly recommend Mimaru Osaka Shinsaibashi North and can’t wait to stay again!

I have nothing negative to say at all.

The layout of the apartment was great- it was nice to be able to close the door to the bedrooms, and have a separate spacious area to eat and watch tv. The mattresses were a little harder than we are used to, this applied to the 2 single beds and the 2 bunk beds in our apartment for our 13 and 11 year old kids. There was loads of room for suitcases and plenty of hanging hooks on walls to stash our jackets and layers. The location was good- easy to walk into the city centre (15 mins and flat), good spread of restaurants. Washing machine was on level 1 and fast. We utilised luggage forwarding which made our trip so easy. Reception staff were super helpful and friendly. All in all, highly recommended for families!

We had a really wonderful stay at MIMARU Osaka Shinsaibashi North! The hotel is new, beautifully decorated, and modern. The room was spacious enough for 4 adults, well-designed, and fully equipped. The bedding was excellent. Even though the bathroom was small, it was very practical with a great shower/bathtub combo, and the toiletries were of high quality. And of course, you won’t be disappointed by the Japanese-style toilets! The location is perfect, just next to a metro station, 15min to Dotonbori, and in a quiet street with several konbini and good restaurants nearby. The hotel was even better than expected. Amazing staff , very well cooperated and a very good hotel to love in with family. Awesome location as Lawson and K line is just downstairs. Will definitely stay again

No look from the room. Should be better if we could have a view (any) from room. At the moment its just electric wires. Also , i stayed at otger hotels they have up to date comodes. Better to have them . Current ones are ok but since i used these modern japenese comodes in other places, would be a great plus to have them.

Superb front desk staff who were so friendly and welcoming. Rooms were clean and comfortable, spacious enough for families. Sliding door to separate the living room and bedroom area. Plenty of hooks around to hang up stuff. Lobby area is beautifully decorated and even has some toys for kids. Location is abt 10 min walk to Shinsaibashi shopping area / Dotonbori - close enough yet not too crowded. Highly recommended.

Although there is a coin laundry washing machine & dryer downstairs, would've been great to have one in the room itself for convenience.

centrally located but just far enough out of Dotonbori to be able to escape the crowds and noise when we needed to. Very close to stations and easy access to food. The room was clean and comfortable with a simple kitchen for a morning cup of tea but never used it for eating as there are infinite food choices so close. We had a great stay and having a modern and clean apartment to come back to each evening was amazing.

Everything was great, we arrived an hour before check in and was offered the choice to pay to check in early (¥5000) or go away and come back. The room was ready, why not just let us check in? I know its a policy but surely things are a little flexible within the hour. Otherwise everything was great!
