Great location just out of the craziness of the city but right near the train station. Sauna is great and no one uses it before 10pm so you’re often all alone (women’s floor). Staff are accommodating with leaving your bags before and after check in/out. Capsules are comfortable, pjs provided, good storage.

The lights in the hallways of the pods don’t turn off, to block this is sometimes hard, I always pack an extra towel to hang inside the pod to block out excess light. The signage is a little bit confusing when looking for the bathrooms, I did accidentally walk into the men’s bathroom when looking for the women’s and saw more than I would have wanted for 8am. The weird old tv boxes in the pods looks bad and you often hit your head if not paying attention.

I loved the sauna floor. This was such added value to the property. It was clean and had everything I needed. Bed was perfectly fine with a light, plug and fan.

The rooms were a bit noisy and the lights don’t turn off at all throughout the night which kept me up a bit. Also the elevator is the only way to get from floor to floor and there are no stairs so often I had to wait a long time to get up to the showers/sauna, back down to the room, or to leave the property/check out.

This capsule hotel is located very conveniently - super close to Ebisu station. All areas (capsule room space, common area, showers) were clean. I like that you get a mesh bag with one time use slippers, two towels and a pajama. Some people wrote that the mattress and pillow weren’t really comfortable but i thought they’re pretty good. The temperature was very comfortable for me and, at least when I visited, it was quiet during all hours. Plus, the price is great! Overall, I would recommend this accommodation :)

- For me this was no problem because I always bring my eye mask. But just a heads up: the light in the capsule room space isn’t turned off at night. There’s of course a curtain to close the capsule but it’s still not dark - To be honest, the staff wasn’t super friendly :( of course I understand that it’s an affordable hotel and people are not always in a good mood. As someone who has worked in hospitality I completely understand. Overall the service was okay, but there was no smiling involved, haha

Stay was really good, super nice and easy to check in. Had options for both English and Japanese check in procedures. Staff were knowledgeable and you got a set of pajamas, toothbrush, slippers all for free included into your stay. The shower and the sauna are the highlight of the hotel as well as capsule rooms were as expected.

The downside to the capsule style is that I got placed into the corner bottom capsule with little to no venteliation when the curtain is drawn, there is a small fan to cool off the capsule but mine was either broken or too week to do anything. Half way through the night I had to get up just to breathe and get fresh air into my capsule.

everything was perfect except for having to check out everyday and check back in when staying for multiple nights. It was also annoying that the lights were left on in the rooms all night.

The hostel was clean, comfy, and quiet, and exactly what was expected from the photos and descriptions. The location was perfect, only around the corner from the train station, and a few stops away from Shibuya and Shinjuku. I like that the location in Ebisu is quieter and less hectic than other parts of Tokyo, so it's a perfect location to wind down after a busy day traveling. The hostel staff were also so kind and accommodating. I highly recommend if you are looking for an affordable stay at a good location.

I wish there was laundry but I already knew that coming in. The locker room hallways were a bit narrow so it made it hard to pack, but not unbearable.

Location was good, had good showers, check-in was easy and simple, and pods were comfy. Only complaint was it was a bit warm, but not bad enough where it effected my sleep too much. Internet was good and it was enjoyable. Pod was comfortable and spacious for being a pod.

Elevator sometimes to a while and showers were maybe a bit small. Also, I believe two of the showers didn't have a curtain to lower for privacy while two did. Also, was a little warm, but overall the negatives were small in comparison to the price and value.

I stayed here for nearly a week in March 2024, and have booked the accommodation a couple of weeks before coming. The place is perfectly located 20 minutes walking from Shibuya scramble crossing and only 3/4 minutes walking to the nearest station. Facilities are kept very very very neatly and clean. Staff is always available and kind. Capsules are comfy and lockers are well organised.

Every day all guests need to check-out due 10am and can check back in from 2pm. This is because of cleaning times, and can be seen across different parts of Japan. While quite common, however, it can be a bit annoying as guests HAVE to always be out during those hours. Bags and all can be kept in the lockers, but nothing can be kept on the bed (or in charge, for instance). It’s simply something to consider before booking here!

The location is great, very central and many things to do around it. We booked this because we thought it would be fun to experience a capsule hotel, but of course, budgetwise with 4 persons one could just as well get a ´normal´hotel room in Tokyo atm. The experience was fun, the capsule clean and comfy enough, I loved the sauna and the shower area was fine too. Lots of nice places to eat around!

Maybe the luggage area was a bit small and crowded, but what does one expect from a hotel that is optimising the use of every square centimeter?
