Hotel rooms in central Tokyo with a reasonable price and a decent room space where two adults can have their suitcases open and still walk in the room are not easy to find. - Well, the Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo Roppongi is one of those! We took the "Friendly Limousine Bus" from Narita Airport to the "ANA Intercontinental Hotel" (a little bit less than 2 hours). From there it's only a 10-minute walk to the hotel, so it's really convenient. We had a room on the ground floor with milky windows, which didn't bother us at all. The furnishings are modern, even look fairly new, mattresses, bed linen, comforters and pillows guarantee a good night's sleep. The restroom is 'Japanese' standard with a 'Rolls Royce' toilet and a shower worthy of its name. For guests staying longer: Beds are only made on request, i.e. you have to let the reception know. Bath towels are changed daily, cleaning is also only done on request, but the garbage cans are emptied AND there were always 2 bottles of mineral water per day for free AND you can make your own surprisingly good coffee with coffee bags offered on a counter at reception. The location is great with a subway station just underneath the hotel and "Roppongi Crossing" only a good 15 minute walk away. I would book this hotel again mainly because of the ratio of room-size/price/location and the easy access to Narita airport as mentioned above.

A well equipped Hotel on a very convenient location no so far from Shybuya. The facilities are good and well mantained. Breakfast is acceptable but lack some diversity . The personnel is very attentive and helpful everytime and this aspect is a big plus on this hotel . Room has a very good space according the the very small standards of room in Tokyo. Connection thrue the metro or bus to the city is excellent .

The policy they have on regard to cleaning the room is not exactly equivalent the the gold standard in hotels of this category worldwide. Cleaning of the room was not a basic thing as it should be, including the bed. They use to change towels and the basic cleaning is not performed as a standard. I thing this Eco policy is not helpful for the Hotel itsef nor for the good service it has earned on other aspects .

Love the location. Train station below, good cafes, restaurants too. Staff very professional and very helpful. Quiet surroundings. Even had rows of cherry blossoms outside our window. Room size a bit small for luggages, though well designed rooms. Had a small sofa with table. There is also a table you can use for business. Sockets galore. 🙂 Hair products (shampoo and conditioner) real good and hair friendly. I would love to know what brand it was, failed to ask. Plenty of inroom amenities, replenished daily. Even at the lobby they had a corner that. There are free coffee bags too. Coffee machine also available.

Excellent clean hotel room, I like the location at itchome Roppongi station so it's easy to transfer by metro or bus and also near Roppongi station (about 7 mins walk), it's in the city center and near many attractions, Roppongi hills and mori garden are just about 12 mins walk. I like very much the vending machines and microwaves and ice makers in many locations, the facility was excellent.

I didn't like (from booking not from the hotel) that they cancel the breakfast when I changed the reservation dates. From the hotel the room was very small for three persons, we were moving very hard inside the room and difficultly stowing our personal items. Also, the check in and check out times are restricted, no flexibility ( I have to pay 3000 yen for each hour early check in or late check out which is too much) and keep me with my family out for many hours before checking in / out

Very clean and the renovated room was nice. The bed was good. I was able to have a good sleep. There are microwave on the ground floor and 5th floor. Could have been nicer at each floor but good enough.

The outlet that is next to the bed can only take other country's plug, can't take US/JP plug. It's ok for people from EU and Asian countries, But not good for those who are from US and Japan. Also regardless of one or two people staying in the room, you will get only two bottled water. Could have been nicer if they provide extra bottle depending on the number of people staying in the same room.

As usual with all hotels in Japan the staff were excellent and the location was good for nearby restaurants and shops.

As with most of our hotels in Japan the breakfast was a set cost for a buffet and when I might be happy with that, my wife only ever wants a coffee and toast but that wasnt available. The room doesnt really cater for a couple with 2 large suitcases and we needed to stack chairs and tables to have the space for them. The location wasnt too bad but seemed to required trains or ubers to most places or a long walk. The pillows in the room werent very comfortable and there were no english speaking tv stations to watch.

breakfast was on the basic side in terms of selection but still quite good. The staff -and especially the lady in charge- at the breakfast room was exceptional in their hospitality. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel and the. breakfast areas were super clean!!!

The reception staff did not speak English very well and resorted to the use of translators for basic communication. They were however very eager to help - no complains in that department.

Room has been renovated. Room Size is reasonable. As the hotel is just above Tokyo Metro station, there's coffee shops, restaurants, supermarket, etc nearby. It is also near the latest "mega" center, Azabudai Hills, which is not fully open yet.

We have stayed in this hotel couple of times, unfortunately this time due to nearby construction, there is major road works just in front of the hotel. On the day when I needed to hail a cab, I had to walk beyond the construction and stand on the road to try to hail a cab. I believe the hotel should have their front desk to help guests rather than say just stand and try to hail

The room is very clean and contains everything you need. The staff change the towels, clean the room and provide bottles of water every day. The hotel is located on top of a metro station so it is super easy to start the day directly from the hotel. There is a starbucks store 2 minutes from the hotel so it is also super cool. The AC is very good, the bath is big and contains all you need, big TV screen in the room, the isolation is great we didn't hear anything from outside. The staff was also very nice and helpful with every need and questions we had.

Not really. However, if you are looking for some location which is super close to local food or shopping. This might not your choice. This location is more chill and peaceful place. And it will be great to have the bath tub in the room.
