It’s about the location, helpful staff and cleanliness of the room and premises.

Small room than expected. While the room is clean, my son got multiple insect (bed bug?) bites during our 2nd night and discovered the next morning. We suspect the bug was under the bed or the tiny gap from bed to wall. The bite marks are still on his legs too after a month though not itchy anymore :( Room is clean but sometimes can smell a bit of cigarette. Not sure how come.

the Wing International Yotsuya is very well located, one block away from one of the main Tokyo subway lines (Marunouchi line), it was really easy for us to go anywhere in Tokyo from the hotel. the room was a little bigger than the usual hotel rooms in Tokyo, small but very comfortable. the hotel offered 24h free hot tea, coffee and amenities like bath and personal care supplies (disposable razors, shower towels, q-tips, etc). we payed to have the breakfast included, and it not disappointed: it was a really good buffet with Japanese-style breakfast (fresh cooked rice, curry sauce, various japanese pickles, grilled fish, miso soup, salads) and some Western foods too (fresh baked pancakes, croissants, omelet, bacon, sausages, yogurt and cereal). we had a great time.

the room cleaning could be a little better. one day we found a cloth under our bed (probably the cleaning staff forgot there when they did the room cleaning). other than that, all went really well.

Lobby provides all kinds of hotel supplies and coffee machine is available for free as well. The hot chocolate is wonderful. They have two coffee machines with different brands and therefore you can have two flavours of chocolate.

Though they claim the bed is larger than normal double bed, it actually still smaller than a king size bed.

There are two museums for toddlers which made the hot days of August bearable. It’s close to the metro which is a few stops to Ginza or Shinjuku. The French toast during breakfast was the best I have ever had.

There was a layer of dust on the headboard and rooms are a little outdated.

Superb location, 5 minutes walk to nearest subway station. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel rooms very clean.

Rooms are small. Beds are very hard and not comfortable. Bathroom is small.

Hotel is located in a quieter, less busy suburb in the Shinjuku area. Plenty of restaurants nearby and the Metro (Yotsuya-Sanchome) is only a 2 minute walk away. The Marunouchi line that serves this area is super convenient to get to major stations such as Shinjuku (connections to Haneda via bus and Narita via express train) and Tokyo. (Note that this is the Metro NOT JR, so if you got a JR pass you cannot use it here). I recommend checking out the Fire Department's Museum that is adjacent to the station exit closest to the hotel (Exit 2) as it is a hidden gem filled with wonderful historical artifacts about the history of fire fighting in Japan as well as interactive exhibits for the kids. Signs are in both Japanese and English and admission is free. The extra bed we requested was just as comfortable as our regular beds and the room was large enough that we were still able to fit our luggage with a bit of wriggling. Bathroom was clean and although housekeeping only starts after the third night unless requested, we could still get clean towels every day. What impressed us the most during our stay was the hotel breakfast. It was a buffet style with a variety of both Western (bacon, sausage, etc) and Japanese (salted salmon, miso soup, etc) offerings. A must try is the hotel's signature french toast cooked to order in a small pizza oven. It was the most delicious french toast we've ever had and you can choose from a variety of toppings such as chocolate cream and marmalade to put on it. We had several helpings of it every day during our stay!

The hotel is quite busy and there are only 2 elevators, so sometimes you might have to wait to use the elevator during peak times.

I had a really nice stay at Hotel Wing, the room is comfortable and it didn't feel too small for one person. It was clean, comfortable and the Japanese style bathroom is a bonus with the bath. The location is perfect; you can walk to Shinjuku main area in 25 minutes and Yotsuya station is minutes away. There are bakeries, restaurants and konbini stores close by. They provide hot drinks at reception for free and other toiletries as well as baggage storage. I will definitely choose to stay here again when I visit Tokyo next.

An option for an early check-in would be nice (for early arrivals)

Very good, quality drip coffee at the lobby to take it to your room and make your own at your room.

- Far away to the center. - We have been told that every 3 days we will have housekeeper to clean our room but they only work until 1 pm. so if you are staying ar your room until 1 pm. it mean is no cleaning for your room. In a such quality hotel that is surprising that they don’t keep a few housekeepers for late bloomer guests. - In such a high tech country how come front desk people do not speak English in this business I am surprised! - The bath curtain at room 813 have lost clips and they didn’t fix it in our 6 days stay! - That huge TV and phone should be hanged to the wall so we could use the whole table.

Our final accommodation during our two week Japan trip. It’s located very conveniently to a Metro station, convenience stores and plenty of good eats. Bonus is the amenities bar and free coffee machines in the lobby! Although the room was quite basic, it was roomy enough for two people plus luggage. The shower is a generous size (and the rail/tub curve outward to give a bit more space too). We had a nice view of the city skyline. We had breakfast at Bistro W next door; the French toast is incredible! Secured luggage storage was extremely handy for our 8pm flights on the day of checkout, however the space is limited.

In typical Japan fashion, only one pillow per person is provided, but you can use the decorative pillow if required for a bit extra lift.

I had a great stay at Hotel Wing International Premium Tokyo Yotsuya. The location is perfect—just a short walk from Yotsuya Station, which made getting around Tokyo super easy. At the same time, the neighborhood felt peaceful and less crowded compared to other areas. The room was compact, as expected in Tokyo, but very clean and well-equipped with everything I needed. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like a humidifier, toiletries, and charging ports. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. The pancakes and French toast were absolutely delicious—fluffy, perfectly cooked, and a great way to start the day. Definitely worth trying! The staff were polite and helpful throughout, and the overall atmosphere felt calm and welcoming. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable base in Tokyo.
