This was a really good hotel, our stay was exceptional. Firstly the location was ideal, the hotel is 5 min walk away from yotsuya station and can reach most places in the city within a few stops. Shinjuku is 5 min away 1 stop on the rapid line. It's easy to find this hotel as it's bang on the main road and every cab driver knew to get us here when we said tokyu stay yotsuya. There is a supermarket, family mart, ATM and pharmacy right next to the hotel in less than 100metres. The room looks exactly like the pictures, compared to all the hotels and Airbnb I checked for Tokyo city centre (they were all tiny) this was decent and good value for money. We ended up extending our stay and stayed a total of 9 nights, it was comfortable we were two women with two big and two small suitcases and we managed. The room has everything you could need, a refrigerator, microwave, kettle, washing machine with dryer, hair dryer, hot plate stove, mugs, cutlery, bowls, plates and saucepan too. They have limited housekeeping which means they will only empty trashcans and replace towels and bathrobes if you place the housekeeping magnet outside your door before 11am. I found this to be good because we weren't disturbed at all they really respect privacy. If you stay longer than 7 nights they do a full housekeeping once during your stay and it was a neat job. The washroom has a good bidet and shower along with bathtub. Complimentary toiletries were good stuff. The reception staff knew english which was helpful and they were polite and friendly. There is a lobby area that has complimentary coffee machine you can use whenever you want. There was construction going on during our stay but we really didn't hear any noise and it was done in a neat manner. I highly recommend tokyu stay yotsuya as it exceeded my expectations in terms of location, amenities, service and experience. Didn't take the breakfast option so don't know about that.

When asked for a bit of time extension in checkout, we were denied as the policy states 11am checkout. However having stayed 9 nights, we expected some late check-out option just by two hours. Since they denied it we put our luggage in their storage for two hours and waited in the lobby. Still, this doesn't change the overall experience during the stay.

The location was actually a lot more convenient than I expected. This hotel is easy walking distance from Yotsuya station which has Metro line (Marunouchi line and Namboku line) and JR line (Chuo line and Sobu local line). Because Yotsuya is in the mid point of Tokyo metropolitan areas, with these train lines we could reach both Asakusa, Tokyo the east side, and Shinjuku and Shibuya the west side at within around 30 min. I didn’t know Yotsuya is such a convenient place! We also found many small but nice restaurants along a small alley near Yotsuya Sanchome station area which is another nearby station. We had a nice dinner and drink there. I’ve stayed Tokyu Stay group’s hotel many times, and room quality is quite decent as always with a small kitchen and washing machine, which made our stay more comfortable. Additional bonus of this hotel particularly was it had a large window which is rare for this type of hotel in Tokyo. We had a great view of Tokyo from our room and we enjoyed it.

The location was excellent. Quiet neighborhood. Has a small mall nearby. The two subway lines and the JR line makes it perfect for the daily commute. We also loved the view from the balcony, our room, it was spacious, and was equipped with a perfect kitchenette.

The ice machine wasn't functional. Neither was the coffee machine at the lounge.

This hotel in Tokyo had a bit of an Airbnb feel, which I actually liked. There’s a check-in desk, so arriving was easy, but overall the vibe is more relaxed and home-like. What surprised me most was how spacious the room was—especially for Tokyo standards. The room had a large, comfortable bed, a sofa with a table to sit and relax, and a nice bathroom with a bathtub. One of the most useful features was the washing machine with a built-in dryer—it made our stay so much easier. The location also turned out to be great. It’s not right in the center, but it’s close to a metro station, so you can reach the main areas quickly. Because it’s a bit outside the busiest zones, the area is quieter and not crowded with tourists, but still has plenty of restaurants and stores around. Overall, I was really happy with this choice—spacious, comfortable, and very reasonably priced. If I come back to Tokyo, I’ll definitely stay here again.

There was a cobweb running from the light above my bed to the fake plant wall art on the wall. More options for the western style breakfast or even a hot full breakfast buffet with both east & west options. English instructions for the washer/dryer would be helpful. Also, the second time I used the washer/dryer, it had an error so didn’t dry my clothes all night. Error was for clogged dryer filter. Checked; Filters were not clogged. 1 little piece of lint in filter. Removed it. Dryer wouldn’t reset or start over. I had to unplug & replug in to reset the dryer then start my load all over. Barely finished washing & drying in time to checkout on time. While not far from the station, also not as close as I would’ve liked. Not when carrying luggage…

Utter value for money! If you want to avoid the hustle of Ginza and be in a nice comfortable and family neighbourhood then look no further! This property is in the middle of Shinjuku and Ginza located in Yotsuya. The subway with access to JR and metro is literally 500 meters. Rooms are small but equipped with Washing Machine, Microwave, kitchenette and other required amenities. Language is a challenge however the staff does their best to accommodate you! Free flowing Coffee vending machine is a great plus as well! We loved the balcony as it gives a nice breather after hours of walk around Tokyo! Several convenient stores just beside the entrance of the hotel. Walk across the street to please your palette with plenty of options 👍🏼

Bed space!!! Possibly a bit wider could have been nice.

I had a very pleasant stay during my visit to Tokyo. The hotel was comfortable, providing everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and offered a cozy atmosphere, perfect after a day of exploring the city. One of the best features of this hotel is its location. It’s situated in a great spot, with easy access to public transportation and major attractions. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a regular in Tokyo, the convenience of getting around is a big plus. Overall, I highly recommend Tokyu Stay for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel in Tokyo. It made my stay hassle-free and enjoyable, and I would definitely return.

Very excellent place for a family with baby. Place is very spacious with king bed and additional sofa bed. Super complete facilities including small kitchen to prepare baby food, fridge, and also in-room washing machine + dryer. There is a FamilyMart convenience store and a drug store (place to buy diapers, baby wipes etc) just downstairs.

None so far! It’s just Yotsuya in general does not have much thing to do. If you dont mind staying few stops away from Shinjuku, this place is great!

The room was comfortable, though a little small. The bed was very good. The small balcony looking out onto the street was a bonus. The staff were very friendly and allowed us to store our luggage prior to check in the day we arrived and also after check out the day we were leaving Tokyo. The location was quite handy to the local train station.

We had to move some chairs out of the room in order to put our luggage somewhere. Not a huge issue, they fitted on the balcony.
