The location is excellent! 2 min walk to station! Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden is right nearby. Restaurants and shops all around! Even a smoking bar across, on the corner...and a convenience store on the way to station. The rooms are very small by western standards, but the price is so good that we each had our own room; which was perfect! ** Ask for a room on the 13th floor with an odd number! I stayed in 1311 and had a fantastic view if the Shibuya skyline and the massive gov't building** Have a great time in Tokyo!

The breakfast got quite old after the first week. It is very Japanese, which is understandable, but it would be nice to have more variety. Be prepared to use Google translate with the front desk people.

there is a train station and Lawson 2min walk from hotel, very convenient. our room is equipped with all the basic things we need. coin laundry just next to the front desk. you can have drinks from the vending machines while waiting for the laundry. they provide hot and cold drinking water machine, and an ice cube machine in the lobby. fresh towel every day, and amenities can just replenish from the front desk counter. we love the daily Japanese breakfast, simple and delicious! there are also a few local restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance.

the room is a bit small but still allowed to open 2 28-inch big luggage at the same time.

It was worth every penny. As a 2+ meter guy I was nervous booking anything in Japan. But I needed a budget hotel for 3 weeks to keep my stuff while I travel around. However I was surprised by spacious rooms - bed was perfect for my size and bathroom was rather big too. Bathtub itself is rather wide. They provide towels etc every day and cleaning is every 4th day but oh. My. God. I never saw anyone clean so thoroughly. They even moved mattress away to clean around it. 10/10. Breakfast were nice, I fell in love with chocolate bread and my love was accepted. It had everything you might need - eggs, fish, sausages, rice, drinks, bread. WiFi was working great every day. Location is perfect. Despite it being in Shinjuku, streets near hotel are quiet. It's 3 min walk to closest subway station, 15-20 min walk to Shinjuku station, a lot of shops around. And Shinjuku Gyoen park is right there!

Room was comfortable and clean and by clean I mean very clean. Aircon worked and was quiet. Very good ventilation and room smelled clean everyday.

I wish that this hotel brand will change the check in policy which is common in Japan which is strictly adhered to that check in at 3pm without exception. People who travel over 5 hours or in my case 13 hours are TIRED when they arrive in Tokyo and must either sit and wait until 3pm or head out to kill time jet lagged. This hotel brand can change the norm and be bold and unique and allow check in much earlier subject to room availability.

Really happy with this place, the location is superb - very close to a metro station, without a need to go through Shinjuku directly. Location is safe and quiet (which is important as I was a solo female traveler). The staff is amazingly helpful, always available and have means to communicate and translate to English even when they don't necessarily want to speak (the hotel is attuned mainly to locals traveling for business, not tourists, but can accommodate if needed). Room was clean, taken care of, with a nice bathroom and amenities to pick up next to the reception and fresh towels every day left on your doorstep. The breakfast was simple, but nice (Japanese style so rice, veg, some fish or meat or egg). It was quiet, despite being 10 minute walk from Shinjuku, had beautiful park next to it and more than ample amounts of konbinis around.

As a solo traveller, it was a great stay. The location is perfect, close to one of the most bustling areas of Tokyo, but not too close to be bothered by the noise. Two minute walk from the subway, also very close to Shinjuku Gyoen, a huge, lovely park. Breakfast buffet with a somewhat limited selection, but tasty nonetheless. Other facilities also present in the lobby. The room was ok, with a nice view of Docomo Tower at night. If you have lots of baggage you might have trouble finding space for them. A little cold at night but the AC could warm it quickly if needed. Bed is a little hard, but didn't bother me personally. Ammenities are not resupplied every day, you have to pick them up from the lobby (positive for me as I appreciate waste reduction). Clean bathroom with hot water (although you might run into trouble nailing the right temperature) and nice toilet. Had limited interaction with staff but they were all very friendly, especially the ladies who were preparing breakfast. Check-in and check-out are done through an automated system, so no worries if you can't speak Japanese.

Minor nitpicks here and there but nothing to ruin it for me. If you just need a place to sleep at night and have a hearty breakfast in the morning you shouldn't be too bothered by them.

From my observations, there were more locals than tourists among the guests at the hotel, which was ideal for me, since there was no noise in the hotel. Ideal location. 15 minutes from Shinjuku station and 3 minutes from Shinjuku-gyoemmae station. There are few restaurants and supermarkets in the area. The breakfast was balanced and tasty.

The bed and pillow were killing my back and neck every night, and I don't have any back problems. The breakfast was more Japanese style plus they serve chopsticks rather than forks so for those who don't know how to use chopsticks there may be some problems. The room is quite small, which is ideal for one guest, but for two guests it will be quite cramped.

Great location, friendly staff. Good view and lovely park 5 minute walk away. Room was quite small, like they usually are in Japan but had enough space for myself! Good ameneties, including conditioner for hair and toothbrushes etc. Breakfast was simple but good. 2 washers and 2 dryers downstair, what you can use for a small prize. I felt like home in here. Nice place to return to after a long day. I am going to stay in this same inn at the end of my trip, and I'm already looking forward to it! Also as a woman, it was really nice to have a desk and a mirror in front of a window.

Shower temperature was kinda hard to adjust, but got used to it.

Convenient place, 3 minute walk to the subway, 15 minute walk to Shinjuku, also right by the shinjuku gardens. The staff were so helpful and friendly even though my Japanese was pretty much non existent. Rooms were cleaned everyday and bed was changed every 2-3. Breakfast was lovely, vending machines were convenient with good selection. Shower had great water pressure, couldn’t hear any of the other customers from my room. Air con was a blessing and created a bit of noise but nothing irritating. Staff even held my luggage as I was a couple of hours early to check in.

The bed was a little uncomfortable on the first night but I think that was just me adjusting from my normal bed. Was a bit unsure about onsite laundry but also didn’t ask so can’t really fault them. I ended up going to the coin laundry which was really close by just probing how good the location was.

Staff were friendly but had very limited English. I stayed for a week and had a room on the top floor with a nice view. Thanks 👍. Included breakfast was adequate, reasonable variety which changed a little each day. Room was adequate size for 1, not too cramped. Both the room and bathroom were bigger than my next two hotels so far.

Full room service was twice a week, towels and garbage bin were supposed to be changed everyday, with a basic bed tidy. No staff entered the room between full service days, they just leave a bag hanging on the door handle with clean towels and bin liner. You then have to leave your dirty towels and garbage outside your room for collection in the morning. Very untidy. I chose not to change my towels and bin liner daily for this reason, with bags of fresh towels building up in my room 🤭 Bed was very firm like many Asian beds, but to my surprise I slept ok luckily.
