The lounge on 9/F was wonderful. A very beautiful space! Getting a sleep report was also very cool. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided were of good quality. Locker had sufficient space to store items. Nice mirror for mirror selfies. Thankfully, the women on my floor were quiet, respectful, and self-disciplined that there was no one talking at all and I was able to fall asleep every night.

Not the property’s issue but on one of the seven nights I stayed there, there was a woman smoking and playing loud music on our locker floor that I skipped some steps in my skin care routine and went upstairs to sleep to escape the smell and noise. There would also be some mechanical whirring sounds I would hear when sleeping in my capsule, which the property tries to help with by supplying free ear buds but that was rather annoying.

The location is the highlight; you're right next to several Shinjuku station exits, making it easy and fast to get anywhere. It is also within walking distance of parks, temples, and other neighborhoods worth visiting. Even though it is so central, the location felt safe, even at night. At night, especially, it can get hectic since you're surrounded by bars - which I also loved. There are so many great food options and shops nearby as well. The staff is kind, keeps the place very clean, and was really helpful in responding to my questions quickly when I messaged on Booking. The capsules are comfy, and although there is only a curtain to close them, it feels quiet and warm - people seem to be very respectful and keep the noise down. The staff provides clean bed linens, towels, lounge clothes/pajamas, and a toothbrush every day! Also, the only female situation makes it feel really comfortable and safe.

Not something truly negative, as I stayed for a week and it didn't bother me much. However, there are a couple of things to keep in mind while you pack: the capsules have quite thin mattresses/mats, and the pillows may be a bit too stiff. Since this is a matter of preference, just a heads-up that you might want to bring your own pillow if you can! Another heads-up: the locker room and shower can get crowded depending on the time of day you try to use them, so prepare accordingly.

Upon check-in everything was explained clearly. I liked the capsule and I slept comfortably, I'm sensitive to noise but it was quiet at night. The capsule, locker, sink and shower areas were all clean and well-maintained. I loved the amosphere at the lounge. Overall it was a great experience, I felt very safe and everyone was kind. I've never stayed at a capsule hotel before and before coming I was worried I'd need more privacy, but the capsule and showers felt private enough.

The elevators get busy at peak hours and the stairs are emergency use only. The vending machine was almost empty late in the evening. Clothing sizes were assigned randomly. The ceilings and vents in the showers should be cleaned more thoroughly.

The check in process was pretty smooth and I didn’t have any issues with getting help from staff. Baggage drop off before check in was smooth, location was great! Amenities were amazing as well. I was nervous because the day before my trip, I was reading reviews from people who said the staff was unhelpful and unavailable, and there being only one elevator was a huge pain. None of this was true for my experience!

I would’ve liked more comfortable bedding and larger space when gathering things. The locker space was pretty tight. And of course having more than one way to get between floors (i.e. indoor stairs) would have been nice.

The hostel is excellent, it was interesting to sleep in a capsule, the facility is clean, you get towels, pyjamas for use, the bathroom has everything for hygiene, a hairdryer... A special section where you leave your things, th closets designed for that, which are located in the room where the bathrooms are. Shared living room on the top floor. There is a metro station nearby, so the location is excellent. In contrast to European hostels, the service here is 10*****, everything is really on the same level as a good hotel.

In the facility in capsules, as well as in the room where your things are, you are not allowed to stay from 10am-15h, which may be a problem for those who would like to sleep longer. It's a bit strenuous to go up and down with the elevator, because my things were not in the room where I slept, but I can't say that it bothered me too much.

The location was great for a first-time traveler to Japan. I liked how quiet it was overall and how little outside noise I didn't hear even though I was surrounded by bars. The bathroom/shower area was great as well, if just a little cramped. I loved how the showers themselves were individual rooms with locked doors. It really helped that I received new pajamas, towels, slippers, and toothbrush/toothpaste each night too.

The only thing I didn't like much was how stiff the mattresses were. It's more of a personal preference, but the hardness of the mattresses made it a little difficult to sleep at first. I got used to it after the first night, but I would've liked a softer mattress.

The sleeping pod was new to me..i was surprised by how much I liked it. It was blissfully warm but never hot, and beautifully clean. Great location near lovely restaurants of all prices. Despite being packed, the bedroom was really quiet. My sleep report was fascinating.

The shared bathroom area is not big enough for the number of people. The locker area is just that, with no space even for benches to sit as you get ready or to put your bag. Be prepared to climb over people who have their cases out on the floor.or.to have to wait while someone else is in their locker. Loads of people had giant bags that would not fit in their locker.lined up so getting to your locker can be tricky. Can't really comment much on the staff as you self check in with a machine. The lounge area is not very comfortable. Perfectly fine for working.Nothing to cook with - not even a kettle. Be warned, I struggled to find a normal.plug to charge. They have charging.spaces in your pod but you need a USB cable. I had to buy one.

I like the concept, and you really don't notice all the other people in the room. Showers were good. Nice to have the lounge area at the top and this was never super busy. Good location. Walkable to Shinjuku to shop and eat. Not too far or difficult to find from subway/metro system.

I really don't like the self check in. When you've come off a long flight, you just want to have a human to deal with. I couldn't get it to take a photo, so eventually, the staff did open the hatch and help me out. My locker didn't seem to lock. Mind you, my case didn't fit in it, so it didn't really matter. Would be nice if they have a small locker in the pod.

This is a great alternative for anyone who is not keen for the "backpackers stay" or the "hotel accom". I had the chance to meet people, while also having my privacy to sleep and be undisturbed at times. The staff members were all incredibly sweet, caring, and their assistance was A-level. The lockers can actually fit a med-large suitcase depending on the width. They provide you with fresh pj's, towels, and slippers for multiple nights, every morning.

The wait on the elevators got a little time consuming, and there were times I wanted to call relatives in the lounge but felt it would be imposing to the peaceful atmosphere. Thats all I can say.

I was initially concerned that the capsule beds would be cramped, but I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious they were. While the bed and pillow weren't quite as plush as what you'd find in a hotel, they were comfortable enough for me to sleep well. I especially liked the lounge area and the individual work cubicles; they gave me a sense of privacy that I appreciated. I also have to commend the daily towel and amenity change. It's a great service, especially since there isn't much space to dry towels after showering. Overall, I had a good experience.

However, there were a few drawbacks. The bed and pillow could have been a bit softer, though it wasn't a major issue for me. My main issue was with the power sockets in the lounge area and cubicles. While they were functioning, the charging speed was significantly slower compared to the center table. It was frustrating to have to choose between using the private workspace and getting a decent charge on my devices. This definitely disrupted my workflow and the privacy that I was otherwise enjoying, as I felt compelled to move to the center table for faster charging.
