The hotel is located just minutes away from Shinjuku's New South Gate entrance/exit. That is also the exit with near Takashimaya as well as Tokyu Hands. The hotel itself provides very good wi-fi. The room I stayed in has my own router and the internet coverage was superb. The owner was a pretty nice chap.

The hotel has too many unnecessary wooden furniture that guests cannot use and may not really add aesthetics, could potentially be dangerous too. The walkway at level 2 of the hotel is filled with them. The room also had a few too-large wooden furniture that restricted my movement in the room. I almost tripped on the bedframe a couple of times.

This is a great option if you are a solo traveller or are seeking a convenient base/affordable option when in Tokyo. The location was great and the room was comfortable.

This accomodation is very small so it is more suited to solo travellers. there are also stairs and no elevator so I wouldn’t recommend this if you are likely to struggle carrying luggage up a few stairs.

Such a good location, right in the heart of Shinjuku (not the rowdy end). Incredibly affordable. We've stayed here 2 years in a row and they upgraded the mattresses which was a big improvement. Staff were super helpful with bringing our bags up to our room as we were going to be out the whole day when we arrived. Also so handy having the washers and dryers downstairs. Overall, such good value if you're just looking for a place to put your head down for the night in a great location.

Rooms are very small but this can't be helped and for the price, a trade-off definitely worth considering. But keep in mind that if you have big bags (as we did), we had to put them onto the bed to get stuff out and then pack them away.

If you’re the type of traveller that travels light and is always out and about, taking the train, etc, I honestly don’t think you can beat this location, especially for the price. Being about 5 mins away from Shinjuku station was super ideal. Rooms are very bare bones, typical small Tokyo hotel rooms. But overall the place is clean, fresh towels every day, friendly staff. They also had luggage storage services which was super appreciated!! If we go back to Tokyo we would look into staying here again.

If you have two people with multiple oversized bags you’ll have to do some maneuvering but we made it work fine!

The place is situated in a very convenient location, the receptionists are kind, the bed was comfortable and it was helpful to have a washing machine & dryer in the building. I loved the interior design. I was happy staying on my own for almost two weeks, but I feel like the room would be too cramped for 2 people

Well the walls were pretty thin, i could hear people from neighbouring rooms talking. The chair in the room was old, which made it hard to use. On my last night I didn’t get my towels.

location and price! Do bring earplugs and an eye mask, as it is noisy and the curtain lets the light through. There was a mini kitchen that i only used for making tea. The bathroom was also tiny, but the shower was hot and strong. So all good. As for service: i was able to check in earlier which was awesome as i just came from a long flight, but other than a new towel on day 3, there was no service (good or bad), i just saw no one at the hotel. So, if you want luxury or breakfast this place is not for you. If you are traveling budget and want to be in the middle of it all, please do stay here.

It's a thin line between quirky and shabby and i am not sure if this hotel stays on the right side of it.

Location was fabulous! A stones throw from Shinjuku Station and the airport limousine bus stop. Shinjuku Gyoen National Gardens is a few minutes walk also. The rooms ARE tiny - the smallest we had in Japan - but we adjusted quickly (ie forced to be more organised). The bathrooms ARE tiny - think airplane toilet with a small bath/shower attached - but they are clean and functional. The bed is, I estimate, a double so not a lot of space in it for a couple, but doable. The price, location, decor and the quirkiness of this boutique hotel make it worthwhile. We even washed and dried our clothes at their coin operated laundry after days of travelling. There are a multitude of restaurants nearby and a 7 Eleven with ATM on the corner. We loved this unique little place - perfect for 1 traveller, or a couple prepared to be organised in the rooms to maximize the tiny space. Easy to find when arriving by Limousine Bus or train (just make sure you exit via the right gate as instructed by the hotel)

The dryers took a few hours to dry our clothing, nothing major.

Close to where I needed to be. Staff spoke basic English (which is rare). Overall convenient. Efficient AC. Calm despite being in a busy area.

My room was next to the staircase. People came in in the middle of the night, banging their suitcases on every single step. Very noisy. I was awakened by noises in the staircase every night of my stay (6 nights). I suppose it is better in other rooms... I paid for a double room because my husband was joining me mid-stay, but my room was listed as a single room in the hotel's booklet. The bed looked like a single bed. I feel like I got screwed. I complained about it, and their explanation was unsatisfying.

I absolutely love this place. It’s exactly what I expected. It’s fun, funky, stylish, and has a personal vibe that’s the exact opposite of the corporate Tokyo hotel scene that dominates (at any price point). The staff is sweet, hip, helpful and relaxed. Yeah, the rooms are small, but at that price in that location it’s a steal.

Ok, yeah, the walls are thin, so if your neighbors are loud you’ll hear them. (I didn’t have much of a problem with that, but obviously it’s a question of politeness.) Also my side of the floor faced onto a schoolyard, so in the weekday AM you will hear a lot of gathered kids… which I loved. But if you sleep in that won’t be a plus. And there are no closets. Just know that in general the rooms are a tight fit. Fine for one… but even a double might be cramped for 2 after more than a couple of days. I stayed for almost a week, alone, and overall I loved being there.

The apartment hotel is located very close to Shinjuku Station, in a calm and quiet little alley. All the services and amenities of Shinjuku are so close and reachable in a few minutes of walking. The staff is very friendly and the vibes inside the hotel are very nice! The room is tiny but cozy, perfect for one or two people. Everyday towels change is luxurious : ) The bed is very comfortable, AC is running well too!

The rooms are very narrows: we stayed 8 days and needed a few time to get used to the dimensions. After we found where to put everything, we felt better!
