I had a comfortable staying , sleeping at capsule is a nice experience . They provided towels, a pajama and to make a shower the shampoos and body wash were already provided so it make more comfortable. also this hotel have separated women only dorm and they provided coin lockers and there is a space to put your big luggages.

even if you stay more consecutive nights you have to check out every day at 10 am and can’t come back until 2 pm checkin time .

Me and my husband stayed separately on the male and female floors. The female floor was very safe with a locked door, super clean and facilities provided. My husband did not enjoy his stay as much as there were only shared shower facilities and someone tried to get into his capsule at 3am.

All night access to men’s communal bathing area is a big plus (able to soak after a long day of walking everywhere). Capsule relatively “spacious” (can sit up in it), and noise/snorng not so bad once you’re in the capsule (may be a problem for light sleepers). Very clean. Windows were opened a lot to nice spring weather when I was there so smell and heat not a problem. Staff was good.

Storing and accessing non locker big luggage was a hassle and not very secure from travelers with nefarious intent. Mattress was pretty thin. Luggage storage not secure (anyone can get to it. Locker for valuables ok, but wish the area was larger. Common area was ok except fumes from the adjacent smoking area filled the room.

The price for accommodation especially at this location was very convenient. I had no problem during my stay and the communication with the personnel was perfect. I really enjoyed the "onsen" spa, however, I can imagine that a separate shower would be maybe more convenient for some travellers.

Actually, I didn't like the fact that you have to check out every day and there is no possibility of letting your things locked in the hotel, fortunately, the Shinjuku station with the coin lockers is just nearby. The lockers themselves could be also bigger, but it was ok.

One of the Best things was all the amenities. They included many toiletries and pyjamas. The bathrooms are large. Slightly surprised you have to vacate between 10-2 however that's probably a good thing for cleanliness and so many guests. I stayed on the top floor which is all women and met some lovely visitors. There's a smoking and common room on the 4th floor. Many vending machines, washing machines, kettle and microwave. The staff were amazing and so friendly. Even if communication was difficult everyone knows at least a bit of English and everyone was very helpful. Location is great, next to Golden Gai. There arent any USB ports but you can walk two minutes to Donke and get a plug. The breakfast option is worth it. Wasn't the most beautiful hotel but you get your money's worth

The only thing I wish I knew was that the onsen/ sauna is only available to men which I felt was a pity and should definitely be mentioned prior to booking.

Great location for first time in Tokyo. The checkout system and lockers worked really well because I could leave most of my stuff there and just take a small bag for the day. The sauna/onsen was incredibly relaxing with a dry sauna, cold tub and two hot tubs. The outer bathroom area was pretty big and had hair driers, combs and lotion. The common area was big and comfy. The actual bed was surprisingly comfy and the room pretty quiet, given how many people were there. I was a slightly tight fit at 5'11". Overall it was much better than I could have imagined for a capsule experience.

During the week the surrounding area had a lot of people offering me drugs and prostitutes as I walked around because it wasn't that busy. On the weekend it was so busy that you could get lost in the crowd and I didn't notice it as much.

The location was awesome, the onsen was great, the common area was perfect for hanging out, and they had vending machines with food and drinks. Plus, they had laundry service, which was super helpful. It's a great place!

You gotta check in and out every single day, even if you're staying multiple nights, which is a pain if you want to take a day off from turistic activities as you must find somewhere to go between check out and check in time.

The best thing about this hotel is the location and the lovely shower/ bathroom area. The hotel is a few minutes from Shinkuku station and is a close walking distance to everything in Shinkuku. All toiletries, pj's, towels are included. The shower had strong pressure and was hot. The included breakfast was good value and was at a cafe nearby.

Your pod needs to be emptied every morning so that it can be cleaned (plus side obviously is that hygiene is at a very high standard). The mattress is very slim.

This Capsule hotel represents Tokyo well. Lots of rules, and people, but organised. Tight spaces, busy, traditional and retro. The baths are great, but not if you are shy as that's where you take a normal shower with everyone. It's a good experience once you get over the initial chaos.

Dated capsules and you must leave hotel between 10am-2pm. Everyone! I can see why some would rate it low, but it fits the area you are staying in. Lots to do between 10-2pm

The location is perfect, 5 minutes from Shinjuku station, close to the Kabukicho/Golden Gai area. It is very safe, with bars and restaurants open til late. The capsules are comfortable with a TV and a fan, and it is cleaned every day. Other hosts respected silent time. The hotel provides amenities.

The hotel has no private showers, only the communal (public) ones that go together with the public baths. Hence, the floor may be very slippery. As with other capsule hotels, you need to check out every day, so may be inconvenient if you're bringing large baggage for a longer stay.
