This is NOT a hostel. It should not be listed on booking at all! It is a great proper net cafe only! Thus, you cannot leave your luggage or even hang around before or after your stay. The employees might sound rude but they are not, because they are not oriented as hotel people! They are oriented as cafe people. It is a great place to stay if you're just looking for a place to sleep and not socialize with people and do not expect to be treated as a guest. You are not a "guest" here. You just dropped by the cafe. You need to leave your "receipt board" everytime you go out of the place and take it when going back in. You must pay for shower. All sorts of stuff that might seem inconvenient because you expect that you booked a hostel. You did not.

-the capsule was really comfortable -the bathroom was really clean and hab enough save -you get drinks for free at the reception (water and soft drinks from a machine)

-you need to pay extra for showering!!! -there is no kitchen available -after my check out I wanted to stay at the common area for one more hour before I left to the airport, but that wasn’t possible, the guy in charged asked me to leave immediately, I really don’t understand that

Everything was super clean. The café area was really nice and you can have free drinks (coffee, tea, sodas, flavoured waters...) and free ice cream! The location is unbeatable. It's full of books and you can use very good computers for free.

You have to pay for the showers (about 2$). This is because this kind of place is for people who want to rest for a little bit, rather than travelers/backpackers. They don't have a place to leave your luggage at (I just put it outside the capsule) or to keep it if you have to do something after the check-out.

The shower and bathroom facilities were very clean. At night the entire floor was super quiet, which was very appreciated. I absolutely loved the firm pillows each capsule had. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was great. I really enjoyed the drink bar and location as well.

The mattresses are definitely thin and if you haven't slept on a Japanese style mattress before then it can be an adjustment. Check out felt a little early and there was no place to store your luggage after check out. I think moving check out to 11am and considering a baggage storage area for after check out would be nice.

The capsule room was comfortable. The shared spaces were clean and spacious. There were free drinks and ice cream. Also, computers were available for use.

The staff treated the guests like we already did something wrong. There were multiple reminders of rules, which were not broken. It felt over the top.

The place is clean and conveniently located in the heart of Shinjuku. It’s literally right in front of a famous landmark, with the Godzilla statue perched atop a building. For the price, it’s an excellent option if you’re just looking for a place to stay overnight.

The reception is on the 7th floor, while the rooms and showers are on the 5th floor. To take a shower, you need to go from your room on the 5th floor to the reception on the 7th floor to request and pay for the shower. Then, return to the 5th floor to use the shower. Afterward, you must bring the shower room keys back to reception on the 7th floor before heading back to your room on the 5th floor — all by using the stairs.

Everything was extremely clean and well-maintained, especially the bathrooms and shower facilities. Staff are very polite and helpful. It's in the middle of Kabuki-cho so the surroundings are a little skeevy, but the hotel itself is very clean, and it felt very safe and well-lit. Probably the best location you can get for the price.

I wish I had a place to store my baggage or valuables when going out. I also didn't expect to have to pay 200 yen for a 30-minute shower, but for the price I didn't mind that so much (towels are free). The room also gets very hot.

Overall, the experience was good as we had read the reviews beforehand and prepared in advance. For instance, we were aware of the 200 yen charge for a 30-minute shower and the lack of storage for luggage. Therefore, we separated the things we needed into a small bag and left the luggage at the reception. The air conditioning was cool, and the wash basin area was nice. The toilet and bathroom were clean and spacious. Additionally, there were free drinks and ice cream available at the reception.

There was only one toilet and two shower rooms on the floor where I stayed. It would be great if they had a spot for unpacking and grabbing things from luggage, since we had to do that at the reception and might have disturbed people who were reading.

I loved my stay. Although it’s right in the middle of a very loud area, the capsule is unbelievably quiet. The only noises I heard were of one or two people dragging their slippers down the corridor lol. The whole cafe is very beautiful and comfortable. The reception floor has places where you can work from, read mangas, and they even have free ice cream/coffee/soda machines. The women’s floor was quiet, comfortable, and clean. The staff is super nice. I would definitely stay again.

I didn't love that there was a shower fee.

I think this place should at least have an 8 rating. There are some inconveniences, like having to get a shower key from the front desk for 200 yen and no lockers. However, I think the benefits make up for that. There’s a nice common room available with plenty of seating and nice chairs. You also can have free drinks from a drink machine and ice cream all day. Location is pretty much right in the most popular area of Shinjuku of Kabukicho. A perfect place to stay if you want to stay out late and have a place close by to sleep in. Being in Kabukicho, it’s pretty active and noisy as well. However, you couldn’t hear much of the noise while inside the building, though there were faint sounds from outside. Beds were pretty decent and I found them comfortable enough, but did feel a little short. I’m 5’10”, and my feet were touching the bed curtain when stretched out. Outlet and mirror were inside bed. It also seems like staff cleans out the shower room each time it is used, which may explain why it costs 200 yen for each shower.

You can’t leave luggage before checking in or after checking out. It makes sense though since they are holding luggage from guests while they’re staying there since there are no lockers. Check-in time also begins at 12:00, which is 3 hours earlier than other places. I also did not see any security cameras around, which didn’t make me feel comfortable leaving baggage near my bed.
