The capsule hotel is about a block from the airport bus drop-off, train station and subway. It seemed that they were cleaning 24/7 so the facility was well maintained. The snacks (rice, rice/curry, miso soup) were fresh. The free drinks were always available, and they also had free alcohol between 5pm-3am. Residents were generally very quiet and all were respectful. The staff was kind and helpful. They had amenities on every floor. I wanted to try a capsule hotel and found it to be a pleasant experience. I thought it was very central located and within walking distance to some very nice shrines. Big shout-out to the staff Anshin Oyado!
There was enough room for the luggage, but the area was a bit cramped if you needed to open your luggage up and hunt for something. On the positive side, everyone was considerate of each other.

everything was clean and good quality. I loved the convenience of having an onset, laundry area and nice lounge area. the guest were quite and respectful for the most part. everything you think you might need was available and mostly free. I liked it some much I'm coming back.
the capsules can get a little warm but I didn't notice the adapter provided in the capsule to plug the fan in so that's kind of on me. I was unfortunate enough to be checking in on a maintenance day and wasn't able to check in until very very late. there isn't much they could do about that so it's okay. at least I could lock my luggage up and explore in the meantime.

Hotel is in a great location (can be seen from Shinjuku station if you take the correct exit) and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The capsule is bigger than most capsule hotels and there are plenty of ports for phones and chargers etc. The curry for breakfast was very good (two choices), and the free rice and miso soup as well as free drinks in the evening are a great touch.
The lifts can get very busy at certain times (morning and evening especially), so you will stop on every floor, but that's really hardly a great hardship - just allow more time for washing than simply jumping in the shower your room as you usually would

Property is near perfect. Pod was clean and just about spacious enough, literally everything is provided if you need it from drinks (soft, hot and alcoholic) to toothbrushes with toothpaste. The sauna and bath are amazing. I came and went as I pleased as it’s literally a 2/3min walk from the south east exit of Shinjuku station which is well connected to everywhere you could possibly want to go. You’re also about 2 mins from the bus station if you want to go to Fuji or further out. 100% would come and stay again, a fantastic hub for my 10 day stay. Please note that it is an open and shared shower and bath space, I had 0 issues with this but something to consider for some.
Stairs only go to the 3rd floor unless you go via the outside, this means taking the 1 lift in the building which can sometimes be a 5min wait depending on which floor you’re on/going to and where the lift already is/is going. This is only really an issue during peak times though such as 7-10am I found it pretty quick towards the later times of day.

Fantastic all around! Shame I lost a key for the shoe locker, I felt so bad! My only constructive criticism is that the elevator is very slow and in constant demand. I don’t think there is much anyone can do about that, I found myself using the stairs at the rear of the building. Too many people take the lift to level 2 - 3 when they can just walk!! So lazy!! I had a lovely time, no one bothered me, and the social environment was a nice option, peak season is not ideal if you want to meet Japanese people. It seems obvious to me now! Thank you for the comfortable stay!

Pros: Affordable cost, clean capsules, close to an important subway station (Shinjuku), friendly staff, free rice/drinks, free toiletries (toothbrush, comb, haircare products, etc.). Laundry (dryer and washer) available at facility with front desk staff willing to break cash into coins for you. Overall, I had an excellent stay. The guests were considerate of one another and the capsules were quiet for the most part allowing for quality sleep (they provide free ear plugs, and headphones for a built in TV inside the capsule; they also include a USB wall fan, and a universal phone charger and adapter were all provided for free, which was an excellent touch). Appreciated having two plug points inside my capsule, and the overall cleanliness of the facility. Also really loved the free 15 minute massage chair available on the second floor. I would absolutely stay at this facility again!
Cons: Adjusting to the public nudity of onsens (especially if you are not used to locker room culture), the place could feel a little overcrowded sometimes with a high number of guests (200+), there was only one elevator in the building with wait times sometimes upto 10 mins during peak hours, the locker room and storage facilities felt a little cramped, and the bedding could have been fluffier. But these are all minor points considering the excellent value!

Location was extremely central honestly is not hard to find if you come out the right gates of Shinjuku station - mind you, the station is ridiculously large. The entirety of the hotel is SPOTLESS. Freebies are incredible. Onsen is fantastic and they provide everything you need as far as toiletries and plenty of laundromats to do your laundry. As a solo traveller this was most definitely an amazing experience, also free booze (for a certain time slot) and curry, rices were delicious snacks! Internet was also fast and very good reception throughout the building. Security (badge access) pretty amazing. I dropped my key somewhere, and didn't realize until a few hours later, when I returned super stressed thinking I was going to get charged, or had my things taken = I walked in to find my key right on my locker and all my stuff was untouched. I honestly cannot thank the staff and the japanese culture enough but also my fellow travelers! Love to you all! Hotel also gave some umbrella covers and shoe cleaning and deodorizers - like crazy amount of amenities! Ruined all other capsule hotels for me forever as nothing has been anywhere near as good!
The actual capsules are a bit hot. If you turn on the fan still can run warm, causing people to slightly or completely keep the curtain open to the capsule losing privacy. Also the fabric of the indoor wear - not my favorite feel and very warm, Microfiber would have been better and softer. But honestly is the only things I didn't like.

Very busy hotel with many people staying in it. The amenities were great and the staff were available to help when needed. Near 24 hour hot spring was a good addition as well.
The layout of the hotel was very inconvenient. You stay on floors 4-7, the locker for your bags are on floor 1, and the change room area (the only permissible place for you to change) is on floor 2. I was constantly going up and down the floors for example: wake up floor 5, go down to floor 1 to get my clothes, shower on floor 2. This would be okay but there is only one elevator for the property and it would take at times 10 minutes to use it.

I have so much to say about this hostel. Firstly, it ain't a 1-star hotel for sure (it's at least 3-star in my opinion). Even though the price per night is higher than average, you absolutely get what you pay for. Unlimited alcohol from 5pm to 2am, unlimited Japanese rice with toppings for the entire day, unlimited coffee and soft drinks for the entire day, scrumptious curry rice for breakfasts, complimentary hot springs, sauna and every single kind of toiletries you can ever imagine, free pyjamas, free WiFi and tons of washing machines and dryers. On top of that, Shinjuku, the busiest train station in Japan, is within 30 seconds of you walking out of this hostel. Pretty damn insane for a capsule hotel.
The only trade-off is that the shower is open shower because it is an all-men hostel. When showering, you see everyone's junk and everyone sees your junk. Thankfully, I am a soldier so showering with other guys is just another Tuesday for me.

Cleanliness and staff were exceptional. Always saw someone maintaining the space and no areas stayed "dirty" for an extended period of time. The staff were very helpful and respectful, always treating me and other guests with the best service. The facilities and free amenities offered definitely exceeded my expectations. The free food, free drinks/coffee, and free alcohol bar had so many more options than I had originally thought going into my stay. Not to mention the all the free hair care products, laundry detergent/softener, and toothbrushes, combs, and floss. Its a great option for men traveling solo or with other guys to maximize their savings but at the same time getting well over what they had paid for their stay! Overall would highly recommend Anshin Oyado Ekimaeten for any solo travelers in the Shinjuku area!
My only real gripe with my stay would have to be the limited massaged chairs included in the free lounge. A lot of times they would be occupied, some guests even falling asleep in them and staying asleep even after their massage session was over. I didn't want to bother the guest or a staff member to have them go to their room so I or others could also utilize the massage chair.
