Peaceful and respectful. Capsules are surprisingly cosy. Free breakfast and drinks all day. FREE alcohol from 5pm. Spa is great too.

Would be good if the capsules had a lock for peace of mind. Or storage lockers.

Absolutely great, central, easy to find, clean, and well designed. It is also incredible that included is breakfast (curry is not my favorite), free soft drinks and coffee, and 5 alcoholic drinks per day, which you take yourself. Also the onsen is open 23h per day (and it allows tattoos if you are a foreigner). There’s also washing opportunities for a very cheap amount of money (I never used this though)

The only thing I can think of is that the elevator going up the floors are a bit stressed with everyone staying there, and using stairs is not convenient enough. And that the bags were for me on the first floor meaning I needed to repack per day. But that is the ONLY downside.

Location is good as the hotel is very close to Shinjuku station. The place is clean and the staff were very helpful. I enjoyed the onsen and the free food and drinks plus the capsule was comfortable.

This was my first time staying at a capsule hotel. I'm not used to having most of my clothes on the first floor and the capsule being on the sixth floor because I had to keep going back and forth to get stuff I forgot downstairs. I also didn't like not being able to hang my sweaty clothes to dry. Another thing is they only have one elevator and it's always busy so it takes a while to go back and forth from the first floor.

Great location in the heart of Shinjuku, you can walk to Kabukicho, Meji-Jingu, Shibuya and you've got the train station nexto you. The free breakfast and dinners are simple but nice. There's definitely better food nearby, however they are free which is great if you're on a budget.

Rooms where still very hot despite the air con, an extra pillow would also be grand. Be careful using the artificial onsen if you have a skin condition, I used it once and it caused my eczema to flare up for 3 days. (Not really a fault with the hotel, just a heads up! My brother used it and he said it's a good onsen)

The capsule hotel is about a block from the airport bus drop-off, train station and subway. It seemed that they were cleaning 24/7 so the facility was well maintained. The snacks (rice, rice/curry, miso soup) were fresh. The free drinks were always available, and they also had free alcohol between 5pm-3am. Residents were generally very quiet and all were respectful. The staff was kind and helpful. They had amenities on every floor. I wanted to try a capsule hotel and found it to be a pleasant experience. I thought it was very central located and within walking distance to some very nice shrines. Big shout-out to the staff Anshin Oyado!

There was enough room for the luggage, but the area was a bit cramped if you needed to open your luggage up and hunt for something. On the positive side, everyone was considerate of each other.

everything was clean and good quality. I loved the convenience of having an onset, laundry area and nice lounge area. the guest were quite and respectful for the most part. everything you think you might need was available and mostly free. I liked it some much I'm coming back.

the capsules can get a little warm but I didn't notice the adapter provided in the capsule to plug the fan in so that's kind of on me. I was unfortunate enough to be checking in on a maintenance day and wasn't able to check in until very very late. there isn't much they could do about that so it's okay. at least I could lock my luggage up and explore in the meantime.

Hotel is in a great location (can be seen from Shinjuku station if you take the correct exit) and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The capsule is bigger than most capsule hotels and there are plenty of ports for phones and chargers etc. The curry for breakfast was very good (two choices), and the free rice and miso soup as well as free drinks in the evening are a great touch.

The lifts can get very busy at certain times (morning and evening especially), so you will stop on every floor, but that's really hardly a great hardship - just allow more time for washing than simply jumping in the shower your room as you usually would

Property is near perfect. Pod was clean and just about spacious enough, literally everything is provided if you need it from drinks (soft, hot and alcoholic) to toothbrushes with toothpaste. The sauna and bath are amazing. I came and went as I pleased as it’s literally a 2/3min walk from the south east exit of Shinjuku station which is well connected to everywhere you could possibly want to go. You’re also about 2 mins from the bus station if you want to go to Fuji or further out. 100% would come and stay again, a fantastic hub for my 10 day stay. Please note that it is an open and shared shower and bath space, I had 0 issues with this but something to consider for some.

Stairs only go to the 3rd floor unless you go via the outside, this means taking the 1 lift in the building which can sometimes be a 5min wait depending on which floor you’re on/going to and where the lift already is/is going. This is only really an issue during peak times though such as 7-10am I found it pretty quick towards the later times of day.

I really liked this hostel. It’s super well located (2 min from/to Subway station) and offered a completely different experience from what I’m used to, both in terms of clothing and daily dynamics—culturally, it was a very unique stay. The facilities are excellent: there’s a massage pool (not exactly a hot tub), a traditional communal bath, and the capsules are very comfortable. One of the highlights is that the hostel serves food: breakfast is Japanese curry, and at night, they offer ramen and even alcoholic drinks. I thought that was fantastic.

The hostel is mostly visited by locals—over 95%, maybe even 99% of the guests were Japanese when I stayed—so social interaction is very limited. If you're looking for a place to meet people and make friends, this might not be the best fit. But if you're traveling solo and want an immersive, different experience, it’s absolutely great.

The service and overall operation were done exceptionally. I am happy to know there is a Filipino staff member at the front desk. He is working professionally.

Why are there no more plastic bags to organise our used clothes during the stay. It is so helpful for me, for I brought clothes for business meetings attended. The iron and flat are so useful for me. It makes my attire more presentable. However, the instructions are in Kanji, which worried me, for I might damage it. Nonetheless, it is understandable that not all can be provided. Overall, it was an excellent service. Everything is well organised and effective done.
