I love it when a hotel you book online over the internet is better than the pictures.... JR Kyushu Hotel Blossom Shinjuku was so close to the train and far enough away that you didn't hear the trains..in fact our room was whisper quiet. The room was spacious (by Japan standards) and excellent value for money. Close to great shopping centres, food outlets and the train station. The staff were very helpful. The interior fit-out was lovely. We made use of the laundry facilities and hot-water dispenser in the hallway. This is a great hotel, I have recommended it and will be back!

Location: Prime spot in the heart of Shinjuku and one minute walk to Shinjuku station exit 4, and less than five minutes to other exits. Room: Extremely clean, modern, spacious, fantastic housekeeping. Facilities: Washing machine, dryer, hot/cold water dispenser. Service: Top notch hospitality from staff who are very friendly and courteous - special mention to Justyna who was extremely helpful with my queries days leading up to my check-in, as well as throughout my 7-night stay, and she always ensures that my requests are fulfilled promptly. Thank you Justyna and team!

Fantastic location and very quiet.Just minutes to the train station. Very clean and comfortable beds. Great breakfast as it has both japanese and western options. The room was big enough for 3 adults. Would definitely stay here again.

The only thing that was a little off putting was that there were no vegetarian options in the restaurant at night. My wife is a vegetarian. Adding some options would be nice.

I love that the hotel is near Shinjuku train station and provides easy access to fast food joints, supermarkets, restaurants, Takashimaya, Isetan and the National Park. Rooms are modern, pretty big and clean, and there are 3 washing machines and drink vending machines located on the 6th, 10th and 14th floor. Reception staff are super friendly, helpful and proficient in English, especially the gentleman Shibahara san who helped us bring our numerous luggage bags to the next-door hotel for the limo bus to the airport. Breakfast spread is surprisingly good and offers a wide range of food, and the restaurant is pleasant and comfy.

The range of amenity kits is small though they offer the basic items like brush/comb, toothbrushes, etc.

Very good location. Hotel staff is very helpful. Very easy to communicate in English. We really liked the proximity to the train station and the bus station. Easy to walk to a lot of restaurants and shops. The hotel beds were sufficiently comfortable (booked a Hollywood room)

The coin laundry facility worked well; it was frequently busy during our stay so plan ahead if you want to use it.

The location near the train line was amazing. The staff spoke great English. It was also walking distance to many areas if you are into wandering. Very safe area near multiple 24 hour stores for snacks. The breakfast was also convenient and delicious. The air conditioning worked amazing well considering how hot it was outside. The laundry facilities were a bonus.

Excellent location. Just a few minutes walking distance from Shinjuku station and in particular, the Narita Express. Tucked away on a quiet side street with Lawson's convenience store next door. From the hotel, you take a right for half a block, then a left at the McDonalds, and less than a block to the major intersection where across the street is the south exit of Shinjuku station. So very convenient for transportation, dining and shopping.

The buffet breakfast was OK but have had better at other hotels for a lower price; but you're also paying for the convenience of having on-site breakfast with a decent enough mix of western and Japanese menu options.

Away from the hustle and crowds of Shinjuku train station yet close enough to the local restaurants and convenience stores. An oasis of calm and quiet the lobby area and lounge space were waiting when I arrived. Greeted by friendly, helpful and sincerely courteous staff who were always on hand to assist with any questions. Restaurant offered ample variety of both Japanese and western offerings including one of the most important aspects... AN ESPRESSO MACHINE!!! Overall the facility and public spaces were immaculate. The room was thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis, but some of the finishes are beginning to show their wear (desk surface had stains and some marks). Bathroom was very well maintained and CLEAN! Individual temperature controls easy to use and very effective as was the separate air filter (most appreciated!). Would definitely stay here again! Not the cheapest hotel, but well worth the money! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My wife and I spent the best days at this hotel. One of the best I have stayed in. This is really exceptional. It is brand new and modern. The location is perfect, at the heart of busy Shinjuku, but in quiet side street. Few steps from the main Shinjuku Station and from here you can visit any area. Trains, Subways and Buses to everywhere are at few steps from your stay. There is nice bus to airport as well . There are few good cafes, restaurants and groceries few steps from hotel. The room is spacious and modern. The toilet and bath are fantastic. I like the lighting system of the room. There are washing machines, dryer and vending machines in some floors. We had corner room at 14th floor with fantastic panoramic view of Tokyo. The staff is very helpful and generally speak English well, which is unusual in Tokyo. You always smell jasmine at the entrance and reception. The reception looks modern and relaxing in this busy location. In summary, book this hotel if you find good rate

Nothing I am frequent traveller and this hotel is perfect to me The price is a little bit high, but I think this is reasonable for this level of hotel and size of room in a busy expensive city like Tokyo.

The location is excellent, close to the station, easy to find and very quiet. There are plenty of eating, shopping and transport options close by so it is very easy to get around Tokyo and the local area. The reception staff are very helpful, the hotel is super clean and the rooms are very well equipped, including with tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge. The bathroom is really well set up with a separate wet room including both a shower and a bath. The air conditioning and re-humidifying works perfectly. The reception area is very well set up with seating areas, self controlled secure luggage storage, luggage repacking space and baggage scales.

We had stayed at this hotel for three nights at the beginning of our trip in a Standard Double room with a queen bed. We were very happy with that. We stayed at the end of our trip in a Superior twin as we wanted more space to deal with end of holiday shopping and packing. We had underestimated how much of the extra space would be taken up by the twin beds which were probably King Singles and could not be pushed together. Consequently our space gain was not significant. This is a factor people may want to consider when opting for the larger room which was significantly more expensive on a per night basis. This comment should not be read to detract from the overall very high quality of this hotel. We will certainly stay here again in the future.
