I was in Floor 5. It’s very cosy, quiet and has everything necessary (towels, toothbrush, shampoo/shower gel, kettle, Hairdryer, bathrobe, little fridge and table. Even a big TV). There were books in japanese language in the wardrobe which I find very sweet. I arrived early and could store my luggage for free until check-in. Most of the staff could talk english.
Having a big suitcase, the space was quite limited but somehow managable. With two people/suitcases in this particular room it would’ve been a challenge. The air condition temperature was difficult to manage (as a european I‘m not used to AC but it’s necessary unfortunately in August).

Loved this little hotel in a quiet area in Shinjuku! We loved coming back from the busy and crazyness of Shinjuku to the quiet streets that Book Tea Bed is in. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores and it was a short 10 minute walk to the Shinjuku National Garden which was stunning (it was cherry blossom season for us). The area was super safe even at night, plenty of solo females walking around. The hotel itself was super clean and the lady at reception was very nice. The room was a good size for us. Would definitely recommend staying here!
Nothing, everything was great for us!

The location is exceptional and the property is new/modern. Surrounded by convenience store/ restaurants and close by a station. It is located in a quieter area, but at a walking distance from a lively neighborhood. I enjoyed my stay!
The property does not have a 24h reception. I did not have any issues, but make sure to contact the property about your expected check in time! Elevator only works during business hours.

This was my second time staying here and it was just as good as the first time! I really like the location of the hotel and I find it to be really reasonably priced. It’s a short, easy walk into the main Shinjuku area and the subway entrance is just round the corner so great transport links. The room was very spacious, clean and had all the necessary amenities. As like the last time I stayed the staff were very friendly and helpful. I’d definitely stay again and if any of my friends tell me they’re coming to Tokyo I tell them about this place!
Nothing.

Great location, plenty of restaurants around (and family mart next door) and short walk to Shinjuku. We stayed for cherry blossoms so the 1 street walk to Gyoen was ideal. Room is comfortable, boutique accommodation style and larger than the other rooms we stayed in Japan, still compact but that's Japan. Cafe downstairs always popular, staff friendly and helpful, google translate gets past any language barriers quickly. Would stay again.

The hotel is in an excellent location and has a subway station about 1 minute away. It’s a short, direct walk into the main Shinjuku area but so easy to get to other places in the city due to all the transportation links around too. The staff were so friendly and helpful too. When we arrived in Tokyo we were far too early for the stated check-in time but we were able to leave our luggage to go and explore. When we returned at night after a long day and checked in, it was a lovely surprise to be told our bags had already been taken up to our room for us! The room was really spacious for two people and very comfortable - exactly as shown in the photos advertised. Very modern and clean too with lots of different amenities. The hotel has a lovely cafe attached to it too which did amazing drinks, cakes and parfaits. I will definitely be back to Tokyo in the future and would absolutely look to stay here again. It was great value for money and much bigger than other hotel rooms advertised in the same area, at a cheaper price too when we booked! We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great hotel in Tokyo!
Nothing - everything was amazing!

The location was brilliant, just tucked away from the busy, loud centre of Shinjuku but still in walking distance and close to the metro. The room was a suitable size for a couple, very clean and bathroom was spacious. The staff member even let us check in early as we arrived in the morning, which was so kind and unexpected! We would’ve stayed again on our return to Tokyo but unfortunately it was already booked out. It’s a very well priced accomodation as well, considering room size, style and location. We will definitely stay again next trip 😊

It was the best location for the area I wanted to be in. It was right across from Family Mart and just around the corner from the subway and walking distance to Shinjuku Gyoen and Shinjuku station. It was quiet at night even though it was surrounded by restaurants. Super convenient.
The bed was a bit awkward to navigate around since it blocked the way to the balcony. And the key was tricky to use. They also ask for the guests to inform the staff if they need cleaning before 10:30am so we missed the deadline for a few days and our room didn’t get cleaned until our last full day. I wish this rule was more flexible.

The property is well located the room we had is small but it is clean and comfortable . The staff are really friendly and very helpful. There are plenty of eating options nearby and it is not far from the station.
The bed although comfortable is basically a mattress on the floor with a wooden surround. This provides a challenge getting into and out of especially if you are a senior citizen or have mobility issues. There was only one chair in the room but I'm sure that could be rectified.

Nice staff, clean, no smell of smoke, great location (especially next to the national garden!), comfortable.
Bed is wall-to-wall, so with two people staying in a room, makes it difficult for one of the guests to get out of bed. There is also not a good place to put your luggage, again, especially if there are two guests. But based on my experience traveling throughout Japan, having very small rooms is quite the norm, so I don’t really fault them for this, just wish the bed was positioned better and to have a table surface or something to place luggage. Also, the cafe on the first floor is cute but doesn’t seem to offer a good selection of food (especially for breakfast) for guests to be able to eat there. All that said, we would definitely stay there again. In fact, we already have another reservation for this same hotel coming up in a few days, so certainly satisfied enough to return there :)
