Spacious for an apartment in Japan. Good location close to the train station. We walked into Shinjuku main area about a 2k walk. The apartment was clean and warm with a standing balcony. The beds (a mattress on a board) were 2 single. My son is 6ft and he was fine in his. Communication with hotel was fine although we never saw the desk manned. Umbrellas were available in the lobby.

No microwave. Kettle is there but no Coffee cups. The pillows (if you could call them that) were lacking and should be updated. The spare pillows did not have covers and had stains so we didn’t use them.

The location was great. Very close to the Marunouchi Metro line. It’s basically a small apartment but it has everything you need.

Nothing in particular. However, I’m sure like most places, a cleaning fee is usually included in the full price of the stay charged. For this reason I feel as though property owners should not be asking us to throw away our own garbage (into the outside bin). I have never not kept the place tidy where I’ve stayed but if I’m expected to do additional chores that take little to no time for the owner then I’d expect some kind of discount. Am I also the maid? While guests should be expected to try and be as tidy as possible we should not be expected to act as the stand-in cleaning service and possibly be charged extra only because we haven’t taken our small amount of garbage to the bin outside.

Comfortable beds, appreciated the extra pillows. It was clean and a great place to stay 9 nights like my mom and I did. It's right next to a 7-11, and about 9 minutes walk from Shinjuku-Gyoen garden and metro station (line M). It's not a very long walk to downtown shinjuku either, and I believe a bus passes right next to the hotel as well. There are lots of small and good restaurants very close to the hotel!

Sign-in sheet asking for so much personal information, but then it just stays there on the counter with no staff to look after it... Any guest or non-guest could get passport info, job, address, etc. ?

Basic but comfortable and clean stay within walking distance of Shinjuku’s main strip and transport. A really great spot and perfect for our 4-night stay exploring Tokyo and the Shinjuku area specifically. Easy check in with keys retrieved from a lockbox and instructions with photos provided before arrival. Be sure to read the handbook under the TV - we realised at checkout we could’ve used a pocket wifi device that was available and had completely missed it.

The pillows were very thin and uncomfortable and should be replaced. The additional pillows in the cupboard were in the same state and didn’t help.

Centrally located to Shinjuku Gyoenmae station (about a 600 metre walk)- exit/entrance 2. NB: Entrance /Exit 3 has the lift if you have luggage. Not much further along the same no.2 platform. There is a grocery store around the corner- York Foods. The grocery store has all your needs and is reasonably priced in which if you have had a big day out, grab some sushi and head back to your room. As far as hotel rooms, they are normally quite small, however this is like a little apartment- enough storage space, hanging space and a washing machine and drying facility in the bathroom. A great place to stay when you are out and about all day. Easy to make your own breakfast in the kitchenette, having a bit of space is excellent. Clean, has all the basics done well. After all, nobody goes to Tokyo to stay in their room.

Great location, 10 mins walk to train station, it felt more homey than other hotels. Had many amenities, the wifi and washing machine in particular were helpful. Great air conditioning, nice shower, comfortable beds. No stairs and having the lift was amazing. Easy check in and check out process. Staff were very helpful whenever we messaged them. Thank you!

No hand soap and could have been cleaner

Exceptional apartment in tomihisa. Clean, quiet, good facilities. Everything you need. All the usual plus a Minifridge and washing machine. Local shops close. Easy walking to live music venue "wildside". Short taxi ride from shinjuku station. You won't see the hosts "MR" and "cho:" but they are a whatsapp message away and respond quickly. I intend to come back here for sure.

The place is strategically located a few blocks away from the big city (Shinjuku) and train station. Love the quiet atmosphere in the hotel where loud noises and cheers coming from outside or neighbouring buildings weren’t heard. Convenient stores were located near enough where you barely need to walk effortlessly to get your goodies.

The bed is hard and pillows were only provided only in pairs. No cleaning periodically in your room. Guests are somehow expected to clean out trash by their own.

Location was ideal. Neighbourhood was quite with a good selection of walkable restaurants in the area. The train station was conveniently close and not a big crazy station but will connect you to any of the big hub stations. We found it was walkable to Kabukicho and Shinjuku Gyoen park and we enjoyed exploring by foot.

The location was convenient, the space was clean and the apartment was charming. I was so impressed that the host had a book 📕 prepared with instructions, and took the time to translate even small appliances. That was a luxury touch!

Not a bad place at all- however The bed was uncomfortable and there was no staff around to help with the check in process. I figured it out, but I wasn’t expecting to not see anyone. There were also no amenities so I had to go purchase toothpaste, and there was no hair dryer. It was a cute place, great value for money. If I go back, I will definitely be more prepared.
