Beautiful room and view. Very clean and quiet.

THERE IS NO BEACH!!! I went for a beach vacation. Way too far from restaurants and beaches! Pool was very very crowded. Will not return. Spent too much money on taxis.

Best view of the ocean we've ever had. Food and staff were exceptional. Hotel was calm and quiet, which is just what we were looking for.

The hotel itself is a bit run down and could use a bit of attention. We paid for a "renovated" room but the couch was so worn and dingy we didn't want to sit on it, the refridgerator was incredibly noisy. The bed mattress cover was too small for the bed, and all of the towels were worn and needing to be replaced.

Loved the room - spacious and loved the fact that it had a fridge, micro-wave and one could cook even if one wanted to. However, we did not. The room faced the ocean and we loved looking out the balcony and admiring the sea views. Service (for cleaning the room) was excellent, and toiletries were provided when needed.

We did not appreciated being approached by sales staff to listen to their sales pitch of buying a time share. We declined as they approached us the minute we finished checking in. Even though we were tired, they persisted. And again later, the next day and the day after that. While we appreciate they have a job to do, we feel they can take a hint and accept the fact that we were not interested in the time share even though they offered us 'perks' which went up in value with each 'approach'.

Very comfortable room with a small balcony and sea view on the 10th floor. Bathroom is a nice size with a wonderful shower. I liked that the room was spacious, had a sofa and table with chairs, and a nice, fully supplied kitchenette. Wonderful hearing the waves.

It would be nice if balcony was a bit larger, but it was fine. Our room was near the elevator and, when in the bathroom, we could hear conversations of those waiting for the elevator. This was infrequent, but I felt that if we heard them, they could hear us in the bathroom. Also, instead of a set menu for breakfast, it would be nice to have a serviced buffet. Also, it was very difficult finding an "unsaved" lounge chair by the pool. The same residents would go down early to the pool and place towels on the chairs to save them, and then leave, sometimes for hours. This makes it difficult for guests to enjoy the pool area. However, workers are accommodating in setting up additional chairs, if asked.

Love this little resort. I have been back three times. Every room has a ocean view! Some rooms are remodeled, some are not. The budget rooms are a little older but have charm and kept very clean. Excellent service poolside and at the restaurants. The beach has a rock lagoon giving the waves a break for easier swimming. We took advantage of the free kayaks for an afternoon paddle. Easy to find chairs at the pool, quiet, no slides. Just south of Centro in Cochas Chinas, quiet neighborhood and great views of los Arcos and Jungle coast. On the bus line or a quick 5min Uber to town.

The staff was awesome! Also location was nice and quiet for the most part.

Not enough umbrellas for everyone. They only had 8 umbrellas around the pool and many more lounges. People come early in the morning to save what few there are and then leave their towels there all day. More loungers with more umbrellas would be a huge plus, especially for the people that can’t get down the stairs to the beach or don’t care to sit by the beach. Also, the sewer smell was sometimes unbearable..to the point of making a person nauseous. That would be great if fixed. The rooms need some serious upgrading. Although they were clean for the most part things were falling apart and in dire need of repair.

The view from our 11th floor balcony was fantastic. The protected beach made swimming safe and fun Great to have two swimming pools, one in shade and quiet for swimming laps.

Agua purificada should be on every floor instead of having to buy plastic bottles every day.

The location is beautiful, right on the beach with amazing views. The beach itself is not the greatest, it is small and only usable during low tide. When you can get out into the water, there are lots of fish to see in the little sheltered lagoon area, it was a great easy snorkeling experience for the kids! The hotel is very clean and nice, only drawback is it is not walking distance to anything else so you must take a bus or taxi to go anywhere. The staff of the hotel were wonderful, especially Elena with concierge and Carlos with tour bookings. Elena and Carlos treated my kids and I like family, I cannot say enough wonderful things about them! The pool was great, very warm which was perfect for cool nights when the ocean was too chilly to swim in. The restaurant was delicious but a little pricey for us. Most of the guests were retirement age, not a lot of kids there which can be a good thing or bad thing depending on what kind of vacation you're looking for! The hotel was pretty quiet at night which we appreciated; however road noise is quite loud and made difficult to sleep so pack a sound machine if you can. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you want a relaxing and quiet place to enjoy Puerto Vallarta.

The ocean view from the balcony was wonderful! The pool was awesome having a restaurant and bar open all the time with delicious food. The staff was very welcoming! I am making this my new place to stay whenever I return to Puerto Vallarta!

The rooms can use a bit up upgrading - nothing major - just like new knobs for doors and placing the microwave in a better location instead of above the refrigerator. That said, our room was a good size, beds were very comfortable and the balcony was GREAT!!

We really enjoyed the sounds of the waves from our room and the gorgeous sunsets we could see right off the balcony. Most of the staff were friend especially the breakfast crew and the entertainment coordinator (he was amazing). I really liked the private area we could swim in behind the hotel and there are so many colorful fish to see. I also really loved having a kitchen to cook in.

The tiny balcony had no seats. There was so much construction going on that it didn't feel like a resort. I was hoping to walk into a beautiful facility ( for my 30 year anniversary )but it was far from that. The pressure they put on you to buy time share.
