Great beachfront location. Easy taxi or bus ride to city’s many awesome restaurants and bars. Property prices are reasonable. Staff is friendly. Customer base is mostly older during the high winter season. Customers friendly to each other. We have made many friends we see each year. We have been coming here about 15 years.

Uncertainty of the property’s renovations or rebuilding. Don’t know what the construction situation will be next year.

Junior suite was great, 2 beds full kitchen and balcony but view of parking lot on ground floor was not great or quiet. We switched the room for higher up in the tower which was better . Location is good close to town and airport. All staff were friendly except one security guard Homer who told us we couldn’t have our cooler bag at the pool. Food was excellent at pool and restaurants except for the buffet one night when we couldn’t get in to the restaurants. Sushi was excellent, Mexican restaurant as well!!! Coffee and crepe place was excellent . Overall we had a great experience and would definitely return.

I was prepared for the time share speech upon arrival, after reading reviews. I talked my way out of it without to much effort, but it took about half an hour! You just want to get to your room after your flight! Not chat about timeshare!!

The room we were given at the back of the hotel facing street. promised they’d try and move us but we never heard back. it seems like they work hard for their “Villa Group” clients but the rest they don’t care too much. The beds were terrible, old and had dips in them and the pillows were old and lumpy. Room service didn’t top up with shampoo conditioner and more towels unless you asked.

We were amazed by location of the hotel. Its right at the beach, that's what we want. There are also pools and jacuzzi and couple of restaurants in the hotel area. Restarants provides nice service and the food was great, can't complaint. Bar offers happy hours, so we've got all service we want! I've red in some reviews complaints, that tips are automatically included in bills, but to be honest I don't complaint this system at all. It is true that "propina" is set up as 15% for all orders, but I consider it as fair amount considering level of service we have had and I would give this amount by myself as well.

We have arrived earlier (13:30) and our notice about our earlier arrival was replied that hotel will do the best to give us room, but they can't promise anything. That's fair. After our arrival we did check in and the room was not available so we've asked when it will be ready and we've got promise to have room ready at 14:15. OK, sounds good and we waited in the lobby. At 14:15 we went to check the room availability at the desk again and still was not ready. We've got a promise that it will be ready at 15:00 which is the time of the official check-in. Unfortunately the room wasn't ready at 15:00 again and we have to wait until 15:30.

This resort is excellent value; perfect location , comfortable beds, all rooms have a kitchen, it's clean, and excellent staff. We upgraded to a one bedroom suite, which was better for our one month stay. Will return

I think some nights the entertainment at the main pool was too loud.

We had breakfast included and the Breakfast buffet was excellent. Service was outstanding during breakfast. I asked to be moved from my original room overlooking the parking lot to a room with ocean view. The Front office Manager on duty on Saturday (IVAN) told me straight out NO WAY. I have another room, but I am not moving you. Period. The next morning, I spoke with the morning Manager (JOSE) and he wanted to was able to change our room to an ocean view, but not until Tuesday, which was fine by us. Once we moved, everything was totally great. Kudos to a gentleman at the front desk by the name of MARTIN. Excellent employee. But if you are staying at the resort, stay away from IVAN!

Restaurant prices are out of line and compared to other restaurants in the area very pricey. Dealing with IVAN

I enjoyed the pools, gym and Spa. Our room was in a perfect location, large balcony and spacious accommodations. Resort grounds exceptionally clean and well kept. The sports bar food and staff.

The beach front wasn't good for swimming, no walking path along beach. The Italian restaurant rarely served from the menu, only $40 Mexican buffet. Bad timing on 1st Time Share pitch. It was during check-in and property introduction. Tired from traveling and hungry, I had to ask two different times for my room key while she kept trying to set a tour time.

Pools and jacuzzi great, lots of hot water, toiletries. Could use more towels. Great poolside activities. At this time, ocean was dirty. A gym would be nice. If there is a gym, the staff didn't let us know. Waiters and bellboys very attentive. Food excellent quality if pricey "Queen" beds seemed more like "full," but were very comfortable. Room well appointed with cooking equipment, stove top, fridge, sink. Likes the colorful decor in the room, and admired the handrail of grand lobby stairs beautiful design.

Great location & value for the price! The pools are awesome & the beach location is perfect. Two shopping centers within walking distance & great food across the street. Very clean and well kept. Breakfast is awesome & well worth it! Comfy rooms & very good sizes. Short rides to El Malecon & other must see locations. Onsite taxi service is available & convenient but move expensive than Uber. I would stay there again!!!

Upon check in, go straight to your room to avoid the timeshare sales pitch. They are very aggressive. Except for breakfast, the onsite food is average. Skip the ice cream shop, it's not very good at all. You have to go off property to use Uber. Pool towels must be turned in by 8pm.

The staff is very friendly, the hotel is very good located, And they have every night a special event, like mariachis, live music, performances, which make the night and stay unique. The food is really good in all restaurants. There’s a small shop wich is perfect for buy groceries or use the atm.

The room that we supposed to get wasn’t ready, so we wait for almost 2 hours, when the check in supposed to be at 3, no one conducted us to the room, moreover When we arrived to the room, was a member of the Staff trying to open the safe, saying that he was fixing it. And someone opened our door during the night and left open, we noticed when we wake up in the morning. Mauricio who was giving us the general information, kept with the money, wich he asked in advance for the discount card at the end we couldn’t take the service to visited the other facilities because we booked for a tour, and even though we seen him and never talked back to us.
