A fantastic hotel. It's on the nicest part of the lagoon, the views are really spectacular. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and well kept. It was quiet, we even went during Easter week expecting it to be much busier. We never had any problems getting a sunbed by the lagoon or the pool. The room was lovely, very big, nicely decorated and had lots of nice little touches. The staff are great and service is generally great. They were always attentive, very polite and friendly and helpful. Having a WhatsApp group to communicate your needs is a very good idea. We loved having free kayaks to use.

The only thing letting this hotel down is the restaurant. It's very expensive and the quality of the food is absolutely not worth the price. There were a few items on the menu which were okay, so we had lunches here when we didn’t really have a choice because we were chilling by the lagoon for the day (there's not much else in the immediate area). But usually we went out for breakfast and dinner. It's only 70mxn for a taxi into the main town. Honestly everything else in the hotel is excellent.

The location is absolutely amazing and so are the staff. We couldn't speak Spanish and the staff were extremely accommodating. They set up a WhatsApp group which makes everything extra smooth. The staff were helpful in booking taxis (and translating our needs for various stops to the drivers). Highly recommend availing of the kayaks (free) and jet ski to see more of the lagoon. We walked along a lot of the lagoon and visually seemed to be by far the best location to stay.

Not relevant for us, but if you're looking for a party location it is not the right place.

I loved Bacalar and I loved this hotel! the rooms were big and bed was huuuge. Hotel is by the lake and the views are so beautiful! They offer kayaks and paddle boards too . In the evening you might see baths by the lake:)

It would've been nice if the breakfast was included, it wasn't but we found very good places close by to have breakfast. Only Netflix showing on TV (in case you would like to see the news etc), the pool was often full of leaves.

We had the privilege of being the first guests at this lovely resort on the lagoon (right on the Cenote) on the day it opened. We had a very warm welcome from the incredibly friendly staff with a personal touch. Our room was spacious, meticulously clean and designed beautifully in every detail. The view of the lake across the heated infinity pool was unbeatable though. The restaurant view and the food are wonderful. If you want a prime location and a relaxing stay in a beautiful environment with friendly people, then this is the place.

Having to leave….

The location is truly amazing, as well as the facilities and service they offer. The view right on the Cenote and the lagoon is just perfect! The staff is very welcoming and helpful. Would have been great to stay one or two nights more during our trip, to enjoy the hotel more as well as Bacalar.

Two small notes: the food was ok, nothing bad but fairly average for the quality of the structure; also, the rooms and the general vibe of some areas is a bit impersonal, resembles at times a business hotel.

Very modern and comfortable rooms, 2 nice pools with plenty of sunbeds in beautiful and lush gardens, leading down to 2 jetties on the lake. Very responsive communications via WhatsApp group with staff. Great concierge service to arrange tours. 30 min walk into town with many bars and restaurants.

Parking a bit limited outside the hotel, but a large secure parking opposite. Restaurant a bit lacking in atmosphere but lovely staff.

The property is an absolutely incredible location right on the lake in Bacalar with great views. The hotel has a great restaurant/bar area which overlooks the harbour. The hotel comes with free kayak and SUP hire. On check in at reception you are invited to a WhatsApp group where you can message the hotel 24/7 for all needs such as room cleaning, booking taxis etc.

The dinner menu was a little limited.

The staff are amazing and really taking care of all your needs, especially Betzabe! .The room is cozy, comfortable, and very aesthetic Also, the view from the room is incredible. Recommend for people who likes to indulge!

You can order food at the hotel's resturant but prices are very expensive. The other alternatives is 20 min of .walk to a resturants zone or 7 min drive by car Besides it everything was just perfect!

Beautiful property on Lake Bacalar!! Everything about this property was exceptional. The staff, rooms, restaurant, location, pools and docks on the lake were wonderful. The rooms overlook gorgeous Lake Bacalar. The water was so refreshing and fun to be on. We will absolutely stay here next time we go to Bacalar.

We liked everything. Nothing could have been better.

New hotel with amazing views of the lagoon, really nice restaurant and great service. Really recommend it if you want to relax and enjoy a peaceful weekend

Loved everything - but I would’ve been great if they had paddle boards or kayaks at the hotel (no big issue as the hotel nearby rents plenty of them but it would be nice to have them right there)
