We felt the resort was an excellent value! One of our main reasons for booking was that excursions were included & they did not disappoint!!! The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The outdoor sitting area, and scenery, add to the ambiance. The food was delicious in every outlet. We especially enjoyed the Asian and Ceviche restaurants at the Sister property, Fiesta Americana. The atmosphere at the Explorean pool was very relaxing & the attentiveness of the bartenders, especially Samuel, was 5 star!

Minor suggestions for improvement would be to re-tile the Explorean pool. there was some construction happening while we were there so perhaps it’s next. didn’t bother us, but seemed an issue for some guests. At time service was a little slow at the restaurants.

We loved the property because of its natural look. You felt super submersed in the nature and wildlife. The staff was beyond amazing and helpful. We enjoyed all the food that the property had to offer in the all inclusive package along with the romantic dinner package. The activities were fun and honestly we are excited to rebook again. Claudia and Alfonso were amazing to us all weekend

we loved the facilities. Great location, the beach (sunset!) was amazing and the water so blue and warm. Highly recommend snorkelling here. We stayed in the Explorean but could make use of all the facilities of the Fiesta Americana, which was really great. many sorts of food and restaurants.

The staff at the Explorean was quite different from the FA. the staff at our restaurant was AMAZING, but at check in mediocre at best. really weird check in procedure where the staff kept chatting amongst themselves and it took ages to be checked in because they were doing other things at the same time. at check out we were not-so-friendly reminded about tipping, which we are always happy to do and did throughout our stay, but the reminder at checkout felt odd and out of place.

Great location, staff for the most part were friendly an helpful. A big thimbs up for our housekeeper who did a great job cleaning and leaving flowers and notes on our bed daily. The staff at the restaurant and bar area were great 👍. We did one excursion because we have been to the island many times and are mre interested in diving but if you're new to the island they are something you should take advantage of. Even though the beach facilities are closed you can still use the beach area, I highly recommend the snorkeling going north towards the Money Bar. If you stay against the rocks and corrals by the shore you will see Moray eel's, puffer fish, damsel's, Stingrays and several other sea life I don't have room to mention. I even saw an Eagle ray out in a little deaper water that didn't seem to care that I was 8 feet above it as it scooped up the sand and fed. Having stayed at the Explorian in the past and comparing it to the present it has lost a lot of the things that brought me back to it. I probably will not return but that doesn't mean its not worth coming to, it's just not worth a return for me.

The beach facilities were closed. I talked with a few locals who said it was due to a dispute with the government about fees owed. It seems like the quality of every aspect of the resort has gone down hill since our last stay. The pool at the explorian needs a lot of work, it is supposed to be an infinity pool and needed about 8 more inches of water to be full so the pool wasn't filtering properly since there was no water flow over the edge. Another thing that annoyed me personally but maybe no big deal to anyone else was the security cameras everywhere and I mean everywhere. I probably wouldn't have noticed but while we were there I watched two additional cameras installed. Like I said probably only annoying to me.

Everything at the resort was fantastic were wonderful staff, hard-working cheerful, helpful and super nice! We loved all of it!!

First time staying at an all inclusive so I was worried if all things would be subpar. The Explorean/ Fiesta Americana brand is just amazing!

Loved the professional and courteous staff at the resort. Starting from Victor, Saul, Monsey at front desk to the staff at restaurants and help: Luis, Hector, Alejandre and Omar. When we found out that beach club was closed and disappointed to know that kayaking and paddleboarding was not available, an event was organized by staff for those staying at the hotel. The food is delicious and the timeliness to serve food can be improved. They took care of COVID testing and that was a huge releif
