Buffet Breakfast was exceptional with a wide range of cuisine for everyones taste buds and staff where excellent in this area. Suite Rooms where comfortable and staff eager to help with any problem.

Tour Company directly contracted by Hotel where skimming and scammed us twice, Hotel mildly addressed it and tried to write it off as a miss understanding lol , the fact that driver took us to his mates zoo and pocketed all of the extra entry fees and money instead of taking us to Tarzia , snake and butterfly Environmental habitat centres was disappointing then on the island Hopping adventure that was supposed to be a full day rather than 4.5 hrs, not having any functional snorkelling equipment without rat holes in it or fins was sad oh and bypassing completely one of the islands out of 3. No accountability and it would appear you have to be on to it all the time because if you Arnt corners will be cut as will your experience ..

You're promised a true taste of luxury at this resort - and it delivers 👌 We had a relaxing and refreshing stay at this resort. The staff are friendly and eager to help. The rooms are comfortable and classy. We fell in love with the comfort of the bed. You're only a minute away from the beach, and the pools are to die for. You have options between adult and kid pools. You can rotate between pools and never get bored. The best views are from the main adult only pools where you get to see the skyline and the ocean. The sunsets at Alona Beach are popular for a reason - it does get crowded on the beach, but it's worth it. Breakfast buffets are good. While the range isn't massive, the taste is delicious - especially the sweets! The in room dining experience and quality is top notch. My favorite highlight was enjoying the in-pool walk up bar and just cooling down in the pools.

Nothing to complain about really! Alona Beach itself gets hectic. But you really don't need to leave the resort if all you want is rest and luxury.

Huge, modern, clean, friendly staff

Food quality is mediocre . Breakfast buffet is like 60-70% catered to Koreans. Dinner buffet wasn’t any better. The pork siomai i had tasted bad ( meat was not fresh). Some dishes were ok but overall not satisfied with the quality and my expectations were not met

Hotel surrounding is very well looked after and beautiful. It has a lot pools - 3 in total and 1 being adult pool (16 and above). It has good access to the beach and everything is well looked after. Gym has a lot of equipment so you can really have a good workout. Breakfast was also good, you can have breakfast in two restaurants (main building and closer to the beach and pools).

As one pool is adult pool it could be more quite (music was playing loud). As it seems there is no quite area in such a big hotel. Also main pool opens from 8am, adult pool from 10am, in my opinion it's very late. I usually wake up early and like to go for a swim before breakfast, but here it was not possible. Also, such a big hotel could have games room, so on a rainy days you have something to do inside. Gym working hours are very strange. It's closed from 12 till 16:00 (it was raining during our stay so I could have used gym during rainy time, but unfortunately it was closed). Spa prices are very high. We had massage on the beach and it was twice cheaper to what hotel offers.

Booking a Junior suite room was a game changer. The check-in was done in the room! The staff at Hennan truly represent Filipino hospitality genuinely. The smiles and the greetings was heartfelt and sincere. The room was well appointed, spacious and comfortable. The mini fridge complimentary water, juice, and beer and Nespresso coffee pods are replenish daily. WiFi access was uninterrupted. We enjoyed the pool for 16 and older because it was peaceful. We love the breakfast buffet and the variety of food to choose from. Shout out to Kim and Raymond for ensuring our coffees are always filled. Dinner buffet was ever better. I appreciate the traditional Filipino food options. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Hennan. The location of the hotel has a better beach access.

The pools are amazing. There are 3 pools and a private beach. The location is great, it’s close to many restaurants and stores. The room is spacious and clean. The staffs are nice and helpful.

The breakfast can do better. There were way too many Korean food (the Korean are the majority guests) leave the rest of the guests with few options

it was clean, everyone was friendly and helpful. the view from our room was amazing. our favorite food and service was at Christina’s. The pool-side bar serves nice drinks but they need a little more consistency in blaming the drinks.

during our lunch at sea view the staff were not very attentive, there weren’t even many people to serve. the beach part wasn’t really good for swimming, it’s shallow and a lot of sea urchins and starfishes that you wouldn’t want to step on to.

Staff are very hospitable and the place looks better in person. So many swimming pools and each of them have bar. Kuya John Loyd and Kuya Clyde look after us really well on the pool beach bar. Reasonable cocktail drinks price Good buffet breakfast.

Their lobby is too crowded during check in/out. Lobby doesn’t have enough cooling system. Considering Philippines is very humid, surprisingly their lobby is not air-conditioned, It was open and with limited cooling fans which are not sufficient to make the lobby comfortable. Even staff members looks so sweaty on their face. And only 1 lift.

This is a truly lovely resort, in every respect. Our booking included the buffet breakfast which was delicious and offered an impressive range of choices. We enjoyed the pool areas and also treated ourselves to a massage in the beautiful spa.

We considered the prices charged for dinner in the restaurant to be a little on the expensive side so ate at the Pool Bar or elsewhere. This is the only negative thing we can say.

Excellent beach, large pools, great pool bars, top location

There should be another one or two a la carte speciality restaurants (could be small outlets) for variety as many guests do not like to have dinner at those buffet feeding places! There are 3 resorts under the same name and connectivity should be improved also for guests to use other resort facilities as it is the same company.
