This was an amazing place to stay. Located on a cliff between 2 beaches and views of them from the hotel rooms made it for me. The service from check in to check out was done with the utmost professionalism. Dinner, dessert, and drinks from the “Spot” restaurant and bar were fun and delicious. I had a full taste experience dinner in the Michelin rated restaurant the was beyond anything I had ever experienced in a restaurant. The servers were exceptional in explaining everything to me and presenting the dishes. The Pairings were perfect. 2 hours of a Devine dining experience in a wonderful location. And the included breakfast in the mornings was incredibly comprehensive.

We had the pleasure to have our vacation in Portugal at this hotel and it was a great experience. Since the arrival everything was as it should be. It is a very cosy place with all the food made in house. Michelin star restaurant was another great experience added to the hotel one. Everyone working there deserves the best appreciation for the quality of service they provide. On the plus side I can mention the balcony which is the best place to have a coffee with a view in the morning. Definitely is one of those places where you don't feel like leaving when it is over.

Location is amazing! I would like to come back. Staff is kind and helpful. Interesting historical building, that’s pity that I didn’t find story about that place. I really like that they provide bicycle. Very tasty food on breakfast and for dinner in restaurant. Good internet connection, for me it is important.

Unfortunately, I was surprised that there are not coffee cups in my room and they did not clean room. Only after my request the room was clean. The room was dark, but may be this is construction. I was not in other rooms. And… I met cockroach(((( and one more ask, it would be nice to provide hair conditioner, there is no shop and if you forgot it, difficult to buy.

Wonderful place near the oceanfront. Staff really caring, attentive, friendly. Room was nice and clean, medieval interior. Very good cosmetics. Upon arrival we were greated with complementary wine, mini bar, cookies and a plate of fresh peaches. Before night staff prepared the room by closing the curtains and placing a little chocolate bar on a pillow:) Hotel has a Michelin Guide reataurant.

A place is really windy with low temperatures - heaven to surfers. Around the hotel there is nothing, to reach Cascais city you need a taxi, which takes a while as drivers do not want to come to the suburb.

If you are after a relaxing stay with almost direct access to the beach, this is your hotel! The building is beautiful, with a strong historical vibe. Breakfast is copious, with plenty of fruit options (surprisingly not that common in Europe) and in a beautiful room overlooking the ocean. I recommend going for a bike ride if you get a chance. The hotel has a few bikes at your disposal, on a first come first serve basis. We enjoyed the 35/40 mins ride to town along the scenic coast, and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants along the way for a juice break.

Almost a month has passed, and I still can’t stop dreaming about the beauty of this hotel. The welcome was impeccable, the room perfectly clean and meticulously cared for, with a shower that deserves a special mention! Breakfast with an ocean view was simply unforgettable, a priceless experience. A special thanks to the staff, whose kindness and professionalism are truly rare to find. The housekeeping team also deserves praise for their extraordinary attention to detail, making the stay even more special. Kudos to everyone!

What a wonderful hotel, from checking in to checking out a wonderful experience. A beautiful hotel sitting right on the beach, overlooking the beach and rock cliffs. The staff was fantastic. Alexandre helped us in many ways, very kind and a nice human. Our room was superb. Overlooked the ocean, had a huge terrace, and balcony. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful. No complaints. The minibar was complimentary, as well as a bottle of port and little extra goodies too.

Firstly we were met by victor who was charming and friendly. He upgraded our room which was amazing 😀 the hotel is in a fabulous location on the ocean, stunning inside, amazing food and so many extra little touches like homemade biscuits in the room, bathrobes etc felt very special and romantic. The staff were wonderful even let me take a little box of their wonderful homemade chocolate muffins with me 😀 can’t fault it will definitely come again. Thank you victor for making our stay so special

The hotel is built around and ancient Portuguese fort overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The terrace room was perfect with a large terrace and great views of the Atlantic Ocean and the many surfers using every technique and equipment to ride the large waves constantly rolling in. Great large room, friendly and accommodating staff and lovely historic property. We also enjoyed beautiful food at breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Spectacular property at a reasonable price (all things considered). Idyllic location. Yes it’s windy but that comes with the territory. Wonderful clean. Efficient and polite staff. Michelin 1 star restaurant should really be 2 stars. If you can book it then do.

The spot restaurant is inconsistent and too expensive. Was very close to giving property 9 instead of 10 because of it. Must be better if it’s to match everything else.
