Nice location as part of a canal side development. Other side of the basin were some lovely restaurants and bars which were excellent. Good accessibility to buses and trains for access to central London. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, especially reception. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Staff were welcoming and smoothly, quietly and efficiently topped up the buffet and cleared the tables etc. We had larger executive room with balcony overlooking the basin which was lovely to sit out on in the evening or after breakfast. Was a wedding on the first night but wernt affected by noise etc despite only being on the 1st floor above it. Nice bar and lounge seating area.which was great to come back to after a busy day out and about and could take our drinks up and sit out. Great place to stay for short London break!

Room with big balcony/terrace. Great sleep on comfy beds. Enough equipped with a fridge, Iron, towels, napkins, fully equipped bathroom. Good breakfast, with enough varieties but too identical each day. Could be more diversified. Enough heat in the room, you can control heat temperature.

Little noise because of the flight route that passes over the hotel ( near Heathrow airport) Furniture a little bit old but in good shape. Not close to the metro but you have a bus station near the hotel. I think because of the gym fitness sometimes you hear loud weights dropping so no earthquakes 😅 One night it was a party on the ground hotel area and it was quite noisy till 1:00AM

We keep coming back to the Holiday Inn as it's location is perfect for our needs; the room is ideal, spacious and the fact it has a fridge and safe makes it better than most comparable Hotels. The Breakfast is always good, however, the sausages on our first morning weren't as good as normal, they were even better the second morning. There is a new menu and apparently a new chef, the food in the in the evening was excellent and a massive improvement over the last time we ate in their restaurant in the evening.

My only complaint would be the sausages on our first breakfast weren't up to their usual standards

The staff were so friendly and incredibly helpful. Always had a smile on their face and there was someone always available to help with anything. The house staff were also very friendly.

The breakfast could have been a bit better. The pastries were very dry. Hash browns regularly over cooked and rock hard. The milk needs to be labelled. There were 3 different types of milk (dairy, soya and oat) all next to each other and no labels. The breakfast is literally the only issue I had with the place, everything else was spot on.

The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. There was tea making facilities and a fridge. The bathroom was to a high standard. The breakfast was very good and covered all options. We ate in the restaurant and again the food and service were very good. All the staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. It was an enjoyable stay.

We think all options have been covered. Being under the flight path for London Airports may upset some but it’s fun to try and work out which air line they are. Of course there is not much the hotel can do about this.

The spacious balcony was absolutely awesome with comfortable seating and a fine view to the canal lock and surrroundings. Lovely! Stayed at the executive room, lots of space and table room, the armchair with the foot stool was a good touch for resting tired feet as well. Complimentary water, snacks, chocolate and Pepsi in the minibar.. Brollies for rent in the lobby was useful service. Wonderful 6 nights' stay. Will definitely return.

Being relatively near to the airport, the aircraft noise in the area can quite obviously not be avoided, but there were no night flights and the room was well and soundproof if you kept the balcony door closed. Outside, you just take the rough with the smooth. And hey, the permanent residents of the neighbourhood take it as.well. It's not too bad, after all. Have stayed near Silvertown many times as well so the City Airport noise is familiar too.

Great customer service and staff are always willing to help. We asked if we were able to check in early as we had to arrive early to catch a musical we are attending and they allowed us in and at no extra cost. We called the night before and was told they will try their best and just to call again in the morning to confirm if they are able to. Sweden from reception was very accommodating. Location was convenient for us and not too busy. Breakfast is good and also has a Starbucks in the hotel. The room is clean, not too cramped up with plenty of space to move around and it has everything we need. We requested the rooms close together and managed to get this. We did not manage to use the Gym as we only stayed for one night but it is available. Parking was available although had to pay £14 for 24 hour parking , it was secure so we were happy with this.

Great Staff in reception. Nice room. big beds. Bath and Shower. Very conveniently located for Brentford High Street. Great Pub over the road. Late Bar. Really good Breakfast The whole monty, Warm Pancakes, great selection of Fruits, Cereals and Yoghurts, Excellent Cooked Buffet, All Fresh!! A Toast machine that works. Available til 11. Staff signed me up for IHG which meant we got free Wifi and didn't have to check out til 2pm.

Just a couple of niggles. Hairdryer didn't work, Got a call at 12.30 asking me to vacate the room despite me being upgraded to IHG. Would have liked to see Crumpets on breakfast menu. Maybe a Sofa or additional chairs in the room as only 2 there for 4 of us

Lovely comfy bed, very clean, and impressively spacious bathroom. Pleasant staff. Nice and relaxing bar area. Hotel itself is very easy to find, with it's canalside location.

Wasn't expecting to be woken up both mornings just after 5.30am by loud low flying aeroplanes (even with the window closed). Had hoped soundproofing would've been better for somewhere located on a flight path. Also had no mobile phone signal in my room, and the friendly staff were unfortunately unable to help me get onto the encrypted WiFi with the password provided. Could only access Internet and phone line by sitting on the seat outside the front entrance (which was actually quite pleasant, apart from the background traffic noise).
