Stayed here with my wife and little boy. Great location next to a great mall with plenty shops and a food court. We stayed for 9 nights so this was a great choice. Staff very friendly and willing to help. Breakfast was great too and the blonde lady at the breakfast restaurant was just a star. She checked on our son almost everyday and she was just all very friendly and professional. It's a shame i forgot her name but she's eastern european i think. We stayed in a suite but the space is a bit small but i guess that's london for you. Overall we were very please and we will return again. Oh yes the view at night is just amazing. Great rooftop restaurant too on the last floor i think.

Cleaning was not very thorough. It felt at times as if it was rushed.May be because we stayed a bit long but apart from that we noticed also a lot of random people always sitting at the reception not sure if they were guests, but some were on their laptops looking more like some students (leaving a bit of a mess behind at times) not sure who they were but throughout our stay we noticed that the lobby area was always or almost always full so no way to sit and enjoy that space. But overall, I would highly recommend.

The Gantry Hotel, Stratford - Exceptional Hospitality! I recently stayed at The Gantry Hotel in Stratford, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. What stood out most was the exceptional hospitality of the staff. From the moment I arrived, every team member went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. Their warm greetings, genuine smiles, and eagerness to assist with any request made me feel incredibly welcome. Whether it was helping with directions, offering personalized recommendations, or simply checking in to see how my day was going, the staff’s attention to detail and care were second to none. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautifully designed interiors and a cozy yet modern atmosphere. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-equipped, offering both style and comfort. Its location in Stratford was incredibly convenient, with excellent access to transportation, shopping, and dining. But above all, it was the people at The Gantry who made the experience unforgettable. Their hospitality turned what could have been a standard hotel stay into something truly special. I can’t recommend this hotel enough and look forward to returning soon!

Breakfast was great, high quality options, with a fresh hot order corner. There was also a lot of dietary options available, for anyone with dietary restrictions. It is also served really early, so great if you are an early riser and want to enjoy your day. The Gantry is also greatly located next to the Stadtford International train station, so just a short walk, really easy to access from London City Airport.

It's certainly my own fault, but I misunderstood what Mobility Accessible meant while booking my stay, I'm used to Wheelchair accessible term instead, due to that I booked a suite that I didn't need, unfortunately the hotel was already fully booked so I couldn't change rooms to leave this room for someone who needed the adaptations. But as a side, it was good to see how much there is to support mobility impaired people, so I guess great job on that!

Overall, the hotel is beautiful this is my second time staying at the Gantry so I knew what expect. The beds are super comfortable, the rooms are stunning and overall it is such a clean hotel and the staff are very professional.

I didn’t like the fact that for such a beautiful hotel, the tv in the rooms are not smart tvs meaning that you can’t watch things like Netflix or YouTube as you would need an HDMI cable. Also, the whole key system with the lifts can be very frustrating as it takes you to levels that you do not stay on especially if there are multiple people on the lift, you can spend minutes just going up and down the lifts just to get to your room. I also wish there was onsite parking for those who may be driving, having to park in Westfield is extremely expensive. I just wish some of the amenities were a lot better for the price.

The breakfast buffet was the best I have had for a long time. The choice, quality and freshness was exceptional. The shower was the best shower easy to use, huge size, very interesting wash basin, and I loved the toiletries provided. The bed, pillows were wonderful. The climate control in the room was very good. Hairdryer was excellent.

My only issues were the tea/coffee making facilities were very limited and not well displayed. No bottled water provided in the room. Did not like the bedside reading light. The TV remote did not work, batteries? Provide a blanket in wardrobe. Wardrobe inside light did not go off over night. Try to be more sustainable, give choice about changing towels daily, and provide recycling bins and lighting dimmer switches. Was on 3rd floor, so could hear music from downstairs, but this was not a problem.

Proximity to Westfield and Stratford station. Excellent facilities in bedroom, shower and very comfortable bed. Quiet overnight. Upgraded to kind deluxe at checkin with no extra cost. Breakfast area relaxed and plenty of choice. Staff were very helpful and polite. The soul bar in ground floor offers some excellent music/entertainment.

The Rooftop restaurant- open to public. Very loud and tables crammed in. Not a very relaxed or intimate environment. Not an issue as you can eat in other local restaurants- would recommend The Dark Horse, a Mediterranean restaurant as alternative - only 5 to 10 minutes walk.

Beautiful hotel with standards better than what you'd expect in the average London hotel. Everything you need is within a short walk from the hotel. The hotel is opposite Stratford international and DLR and Westfield Stratford shopping mall. It's an ideal location for whether or not you are staying around Stratford or venturing into central London. Didn't try breakfast so I cannot comment on that but there are lovely restaurants in the hotel where we had dinner, though slightly pricy and there's lots of other options nearby.

The pillows were so soft you sank through it, might as well not have provided any pillows. We had no robes or bedroom slippers which was a shame for the standards they provided

Not been that area of the city previously. Good transport links as train station and DLR across the road from hotel. Hotel needs a more prominent sign outside! Reception and check in smooth. Staff friendly especially in restaurant and bar on first floor. Rooftop steakhouse nice but expensive. Buffet breakfast good. Room a bit quirky because modern design. Nice shower. Reception messed up on ordering a taxi but Natasha on reception ordered and paid for an Uber to take us to ABBA arena.Khalid on reception smiley and helpful.

Excellent well laid out bedrooms and fabulous bathroom toiletries. Complimentary robe and slippers are a lovely addition. I was celebrating my birthday and a card and small box of chocolates left for me - thank you.

Chaotic at breakfast. Station for cereals etc far too small - only one person able to use at the same time. Yoghurts (only one flavour) on a shelf underneath, which you have to bend down to see. Insufficient staff to remove dirty crockery had to take off our table ourselves. Drinks - I would expect that a hotel of this calibre would serve freshly brewed coffee and tea at the table. The food itself was disappointing. Whilst the choice was good, all the hot food, with the exception of my freshly cooked fried egg was only just warm (had seen this mentioned on previous reviews which obviously hasn't been addressed)

The shower was amazing! beds comfortable and clean with adequate room size. I had booked through booking.com and would do so directly with the hotel in the future as was cheaper. Hotel was flexible in changing my booking from a double to a twin with no additional charge. I upgraded to a deluxe twin although it appears that the only difference was the provision of slippers and robe and a small table. Also thought that this meant being given a room between 10th and 17th floor and in fact had 7th. Not a major issue just different to what I had thought. Loved the security as had to use key card to access the lift thereby minimising chances of non authorised persons entering the accommodation.
