Excellent location, very convenient for short transit stays at Changi. Rooftop pool is a great feature. Easy to access and check in. Early bag drop off with Singapore airlines is very useful to help access, as the hotel is post-immigration but pre-security (so can take larger toiletries). Not the cheapest but can fit 2 adults and 2 children in a double room via an extra bed (which is cheaper to add than a 2nd room). Includes 1x breakfast/meal which is very useful. Easy internal transfer to T2/3 (the hotel is in T1).

No windows in rooms. Pool opens at 10am, limits morning access if an early flight. Bookings are in 6 or 12 hour blocks so make sure you get your timings correct.

Always a good stay here. Staff very helpful in arranging assistance for my elderly mother for the next flight. 'Breakfast' was great (granola fruit yogurt bowl) mini croissant (butter only, no jam :( ). Coffee (contained caffeine, which after a long flight is all you need). Great shower.

I wish other guests would not talk and make noise down the hallways. No conditioner (as many hotels now, BYO) For tea and coffee in your room, no real milk, just whitener (whatever that is made of?) Pool was not opened when we first arrived early in the morning. Opening times different to what was stated on website.

We had a very comfortable stay at Aerotel Singapore – Transit Hotel in Terminal 1. It’s the perfect place within the airport if you need proper rest and want to avoid jet lag during a layover. The rooms are compact but thoughtfully designed, with everything you need for a 6–12 hour stay, and we were lucky to have a view of the runway – such a treat! One nice perk is that each guest gets one meal included, which you can choose from a menu at any time during your stay. Just to note, there isn’t a separate breakfast buffet. The only small challenge was locating the hotel – clearer signage inside the terminal would definitely help. I may blame it on my jet lag, but even after following the directions I still had to wander a bit before finding the entrance 😊. Overall, a fantastic option for families and solo travelers alike if you’re looking for comfort and convenience during transit. Highly recommend!

Expensive

Super convenient location if your flight is in Terminal 1D (or C, though that’s a bit farther) or at the northern end of Terminal 2E. Perfect as a transit hotel! The rooms are comfy, but fair warning: you’ll definitely hear the roar of aircraft engines starting up since they’re right above Gate D41, kind of like having your own airport soundtrack. On the plus side, the restaurant’s nasi lemak is surprisingly tasty and worth a try!

Shared bathrooms can get a little busy, and if luck isn’t on your side, the guest before you might not be the tidiest. Part of the adventure, I guess!

Conveniently located. Short walk to Hotel after exiting plane. Location within airport assisted in avoiding waiting in immigration queue for what was an overnight stay. Extremely comfortable pillows. Quiet location overall, conducive to goodnights sleep. Pool and bar available on site.

Meal provided described as complimentary and limited in choice. Not good value for fee paid. Not able to use Pool as it was not open until midday which didn't fit with our allotted exit time.

The staff were great to communicate with, and they were happy to accomodate us when we requested to check in much earlier than initially anticipated since we were exhausted from our flight. The beds were so comfy, shower was great, and we even received a complimentary meal. After we checked out (in the very early hours of the morning), the staff allowed us to camp out in their hotel lounge until our flight, which was very cosy with our young daughter still sleeping in our arms.

The price is steep, but the 12-hour stay was worth the cost with our 26-hour layover.

Of course the hotel is airside which makes it so convenient when transiting Singapore. Nice bar around the top-floor pool. Quite a surprise to open the room shutters and find yourself face to face with the captain of a very large airliner.

The room is clean but.quite dark and dingy. The hotel looks very much the same as it was a couple of years ago. Time for a refresh and coat of paint. The provided meal is good but it's annoying not to have tea and coffee making facilities within the room. Be aware, you cannot check-in without both the incoming boarding pass and the outgoing boarding pass.

Incrediblly convenient when arriving after midnight from an 8hoir flight with 2 children under 4. Staff were very helpful, efficient to check us in and very friendly. A much needed hot shower and comfortable bed was provided along with the complimentary meal before we checked out in the morning. Food was great and coffee also very good! Such a life saver. Highly recommend.

Charged $46 for my 3 year old when the booking price paid was for a twin bed room and about $400. Think that was unnecessary as the cost covered the room why did I pay extra for my child?

had a very pleasant stay at this hotel before my next flight. It was extremely convenient for an overnight stop, located in T1 but still peaceful and quiet. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious—just what I needed to relax and recharge. I really appreciated the included breakfast, which had a good variety and was a nice way to start the day. I was also able to order room service the night before, which was prompt and delicious. Overall, the stay exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travellers looking for comfort and convenience before or after flight.

There was absolutely nothing not to like, as everything exceeded my expectations.

Although we had just under an hour in the pool before it closed, it was wonderful to have the facility. There was a cocktail bar there too but both closed at 10pm. Staff were friendly and helpful. A meal is included in the price and there is also a complimentary breakfast of cereal and toast between 6am and 10am so you can have both. The room was very comfortable - very wide, comfortable single beds. The room was very quiet - we didn't have the experience that others have reported regarding it being noisy. It was very expensive for the time we were there but having a guaranteed bed, secure, quiet room and ensuite shower room as well as access to the pool meant I don't regret it.

As above - it's a lot of money. I read in the property response to other reviews that if you book 6 hours, they charge per hour on a rolling basis for extra hours. I booked 12 hours on booking.com but we only stayed for 10 hours. In future I would book for 6 hours then roll over. The shower in the room only had a body wash/shampoo combined. It would have been nice to have conditioner too. The veggie options for the meals are limited to two choices.
