We had a family room for 3 of us (parent and 2 grown children). It clearly was aimed at smaller children, but my kids liked the enormous llama toy! The pull-out sofa was surprisingly comfy according to my son and there was still sufficient space in the room for us to move around comfortably. The hotel location is a little out of the way but easy to get to the metro which will take you anywhere. We enjoyed walking up through Chinatown. And there are loads of small eateries, cafes and bars just a short walk away. Breakfast provided a good selection. It could be a little busy, but most items were restocked very quickly and the wait staff were really kind and helpful.

I completed the lengthy pre-check-in documentation online prior to our arrival as requested, but seemingly the check-in staff had to cover the same ground as check-in took about 30 mins. My request for a late check-out, which had been granted online, seemed to have been lost in the system. I also had to follow up our breakfast being included in our room-rate as this had also not been registered by check-in. Sadly the weather was rainy and the pool was shut for our entire stay. Also, we tried to visit the bar on one occasion, but it turned out to be a fairly dingy room with the loudest karaoke I have ever heard, to the degree that neither my daughter or I could understand the bar staff. We left without trying a drink.

Great location, extremely fast check in/out process, great service at the front desk (Nishah was exceptional), great service at the restaurant, good breakfast buffet. Rooms are spacious and the work desk is large and very convenient for working.

The hotel and rooms feel quite dark. It’s a personal preference, but I found pillows extremely tough and uncomfortable. Couldn’t sleep well the whole week. Also a minor thing, but for travellers who aren’t aware that Singapore’s tap water quality/cleaningness is very high and so there is no bottled water provided for this reason, there should be a sign/message to the guest.

Check in / check out process was quick and painless. They held our bags so we could go explore the city before check-in time. Good location 800m from MRT and bus stops across the road from the hotel. Great service at the restaurant (always looking after us and our baby), huge breakfast buffet with lots of options. Rooms are spacious (compared to other SG hotels) and the work desk is large and convenient for working. Nice large pool with Jacuzzi that were mostly empty when we used them

We requested a quite room, so we were towards the end of a corridor, near the fire exit. We still had other guests being quite loud around us at night, disturbing our baby. There may be a worker smoking in the fire exit as we woke up a couple of nights with the whole room smelling like cigarette smoke. We informed the staff the next morning but it happened again the next night. The pool and jacuzzi's are not heated. No clothesline in the room to hang / dry clothes.

Breakfast variety was very nice

The location was really good. Easy access to MRT, restaurants and coffee shops.

The lobby areas had very few seats to accommodate guests awaiting check-in. One of the staff was very disrespectful to my family. However must say it was only one person. The rest of the team were really nice and helpful. Mr. Kazim provided exceptional service.

Great hotel for a 2 night stay, within walking distance of cafes, restaurants, China Town (15 mins) and other key attractions (30 mins). Our room was large and well maintained. Bed was comfortable with quality sheets and pillows, giving us a good nights sleep. Staff were polite, if not friendly. Breakfast was incredible, with a huge choice of items to suit any appetite and taste. One of the best we've had in a while.

Only two or three TV channels worked during our 2 days - a hotel wide issue. Staff could not explain and were quite dismissive. While that might be ok for most, we were jet-lagged and poorly so spent a fair bit of time in our room. Luckily, TV did allow casting of Netflix, so we made do with that. Unable to get a coffee (with milk) at 6am anywhere in hotel. Told by reception to wait until 7am (breakfast) or walk to cafe 400 yds away. For a 5 star, city hotel, I found that astonishing.

Check in process was smooth and easy and Ms. Atiqah who attended to us that day was very friendly and helpful. We upgraded our room to a suite which we felt was a great choice due to the size of the room and the comfort of staying in it. Love the breakfast variety as well. Due to the location, it was easy walking to places like 100 AM mall, International Plaza or local food marketplaces.

The shampoo holder was not securely attached to the wall and kept falling to the floor, so end up putting it on the shower room floor instead. Requested for housekeeping on the 2nd day morning before stepping out but by the time we returned to the room in the afternoon, the room was still not cleaned up. Decided to stay in for the rest of the day and put up the DND sign, but we received housekeeping services notes, one of which was close to 5pm and the other was at a much later time. Felt that housekeeping should be done much earlier rather than evening time but since we were checking the next day, we decided not to be bothered with it.

The room was really huge and clean (shout out to the cleaners for doing a hood job)There bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very spacey. The guys at the concierge were friendly.

The ladies at the reception were very unwelcoming and snobby. The management should replace those especially how ironic it was to put such personalities at the reception where it’s the first station a client would stop. Considering it was a 5 star hotel, nobody helped me brought my suitcases to my room. I’ve been to many 5 star hotels and it’s expected that your luggage will be brought by a hotel staff to your room. In my case I had to dragged both my suitcases to my room. This should be the of those at the reception to arrange someone to bring the luggage in the room.

Excellent breakfast full of choices. Very efficiently run by staff despite being busy Gym was good Spa charges are higher I think so I didn’t use that. Not walkable to promenade also due to humid weather. But taxis are very reasonably priced I used grab app for taxis which was amazing.

They only issued one key card per room, should have given two for each occupant. Gym/pool/spa area on 11 th floor was never manned to resolve any queries.

Really large room that was super clean! Large bed, great working space and a very comfy couch. The bathroom was large and clean and had a bathtub! Cleaning staff were super friendly and did a fantastic job each day 🙂 Hotel is close to a few bus stops and 2 MRTs. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

There was no body lotion or hair dryer in the bathroom. The fridge was on the lowest setting until I realised the day after...
