For this trip, the location was convenient but busy. The hotel supplies complimentary water in the room, pool area, and gym, which was appreciated. The gym is 24/7, but the pool has limited hours from 8 am only, so if you had appointments and wanted breakfast, an early morning exercise swim was not possible. If you like hotel buffet breakfasts and you usually have a large breakfast, then there was a wide selection and is probably for you.

Overall, for the money, it was not worth it. The rooms only had instant coffee and powdered milk. There was no initial complimentary milk, no bottle opener, and no wine glasses. For such a property, I would expect a coffee machine and pods, wine glasses, and initial complimentary milk. Overall, it was impersonal. To prebook a taxi for an early morning flight, there was an $8 service fee. Also, the hotels cafe/restaurants idea of hot chocolate was Milo with luke warm milk poured on top. It was not even mixed in, and some of the breakfast juices were made with unripe fruit.

The breakfast buffet spread is great. The laksa is very tasty. The location is the best, with just about everything within a short stroll (if not just right next door!). Staff are genuinely friendly and there’s always a warm greeting and welcome when you enter the hotel. The gentleman who looks after the (valet?) at the front who has been there over 40 years is amazing and deserves some serious appreciation from the hotel. I hope Mr Tang looks after him! Thank you again for a great stay. Shall be back very soon!

It’s 2025, perhaps there is an opportunity to introduce a whole floor for guests that do not allow young children (some parents just don’t know how to teach their kids to shut up when it’s past 11pm and they run around the pagoda like it’s their playground). Bad parenting is not the hotel’s fault, but it should be tactfully managed - many travellers would stay with you if you had a non-kids zone!

Thank you Faisal and team! We have had the most memorable and heart warming experience. Every team member was so welcoming and accommodating. We celebrated my parents 50th Wedding anniversary, my mother was so warmed by the hospitality and quality of service. Nothing was too much for the staff here, and they always went above and beyond. Our room was very comfortable, and always clean. I must reiterate that the room attendants were always on point with their helpfulness, and attentiveness. Greatly appreciated. Gym is small but well equipped with a small basketball court. Pool was great, dons a relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast at M club or Crossroads was great, a good selection of cuisines, Indian, Chinese, American, fruits, yogurts and several salads. The ‘Made to Order’ egg station offered us perfect omelettes every time and same goes with the MTO seafood laksa. Friendly staff and chefs, always very pleasant. Drinks and canapés from 17:30hr at the Club lounge was a great addition to this package. Simple and smaller selection of hot and cold food however, the quality was always very good. Location is perfect, close to EVERYTHING, super convenient to the MRT, shops and just about anything you could need! Thanks you again Team, we look forward to returning soon!

Breakfast was the best I've ever had. The selection was the widest and the quality was top. For example, they had truffle eggs benedict that you could request from the eggs station, not only the old omelette. They had freshly made dumplings as part of a great Chinese selection, full Indian vegetarian selection, a great spread of fresh breads and cheeses, cold cuts and even a salad bar with premium salads on offer. Staff were friendly too as we had two kids and they would throw food on the ground.

The only very minor thing was that the coffee stations were sometimes broken or you had to wait quite a while for your turn as there were only two. But that's a very minor detail. How amazing would it be if you had a barista making a fresh flat white for you - wow.

Breakfast everyday has plenty of varieties, service in the buffet is also very good I might say. The room is good, comfortable enough to have a good rest after long day of activities. The housekeeper, Ms. Linda, in my floor is also very considerate and friendly. The hotel is very accessible and near to shopping malls.

I have been in 3 Marriott hotels from 3 different countries, and the bathroom floors are always mess after bath. Somehow there is always gap beneath the shower doors and the water leaks. I am not sure if I am just unlucky to get rooms with such bathrooms or the shower doors of their bathrooms are really designed that way.

We had a club room .. having a choice of club lounge for breakfast or Cross Roads cafe .. we choose the later for no reason as either is excellent in both service food choices and comfort

Nothing every thing was excellent .. kindness given when a twice delayed flight by our not so favourite airline .. Marriott Tangs Hotel gave us extra time for the room … AND when delayed even further we waited in the Club lounge a few hours .. allowing us to eat a meal and relax in comfort .. thank you Marriott Bonvoy Tangs hotel Singapore …

Well-maintained, comfy and clean rooms. Spacious bathroom. Great breakfast selection especially for the price! Crispy bacon & omelette station, with oriental, and Indian food options. Coffee is above average. Providing takeaway cups for coffee was a nice touch! Location is excellent for exploring Orchard. Well-connected to the nearby malls and the train station.

Room 1814 unfortunately have poor Wi-Fi reception. We couldn’t use at all on the bed next to the window :(

The housekeeping was very good and on time every day. The range of food for breakfast was very good. The location of the hotel to shopping and the MRT is excellent. The hotel staff were very polite and helpful.

The western breakfast food was sometimes cold or at best lukewarm. The heater lamps didn’t keep the food warm. The aircon in the restaurant was very cold so the food got cold very quickly.

We stayed more than a week, housekeeping was a gem. However, the last couple of days before checking out, the bed linen did not smell as nice as they had the earlier days when we stayed. We should always ensure all the towels, bed spread & linen, pillow cases etc smell & feel fresh at every change. Otherwise, it was an almost perfect stay.
