Decent, solid business hotel in a sort of flat industrial park area of Lund. Breakfast is a genuinely impressive spread that makes you just want to eat everything and it's hard to stop. And though I didn't get to actually swim, the pool looked inviting, and remarkably, the friendly staff cheerfully offered to open it whenever I wanted. Staff were friendly and helpful.

You know that feeling when you wander through Ikea and come across furniture that you can't imagine anyone choosing for their home? The rooms of the Scandic Star are the perfect embodiment of the Swedish concept of "lagom"— functional yet utterly devoid of interest or stimulation. It's hard to find anything specific to complain about. Everything works fine; nothing is broken, yet, there is overwhelming and slightly sad sense of charmlessness and dullness, from the stark white bathroom tiles reminiscent of a hospital, to the faded purple sofa that whispers quietly of mid-2000's decor. You can imagine Alan Partridge striding around the corner at any moment.

- The family room is spacious with one living room and one bedroom separately. And the room is very quiet since it is facing inwards of the building. - The full selection of the Scandinavian breakfast. - Small but functional gym and swimming pool. - The kind hotel staff.

- The broken sofa bed in the living room. - Not very clean / modern appearance overall. - Not very welcoming feelings (from design perspective) in the hotel entrance.

Good location, the environment is quiet, the staff were great. The swimming pool is exceptional. We enjoyed our stay and I would like to come back and I will by the grace of God. The Hotel is exceptional for me. Almost everything needed in a hotel was there . My family was happy staying there. It was very nice for us. Scandic Star Lund is a place to visit..

Great for families with kids. We loved the swimming pool, play room, and theatre/cinema. You could stay in the hotel and not get bored! Our daughter loved the kids buffet from the hotel restaurant and breakfast was very good, with many options available from the buffet.

The room was very dirty when we arrived and we understood there was an issue with housekeeping, for which we had to wait over 1h for checking in. Yet, we requested the room cleaning service every other day but it was never cleaned properly. They only changed towels and also came late in the evening.

The room vas very spacious, the furniture was good and comfortable, nice black out curtains, big bathroom. The staff was very polite overall great expiriance.

I am not sure if it was me, but It was a bit cold in the room, and in the lobey and buffet. Also it is worth mentioning that the hottel is locates in more or less industrial area, so if you want to buy something that the hotel does not have you will need to go all the waynto the city center.

It is the second time I go with my family, there are not many changes, everything was good and it seems that everything is the same, but they should improve what is wearing out over time.

They will have to keep the pool cleaner, the water seemed dirty and full of foam like soap, expand the changing rooms, repair the sauna door because it did not close properly and improve the ventilation of the bathrooms in the rooms because it gave off a bad smell., when we arrived.

The room was very spacious and clean, breakfast was very good. Gym and ping pong table where available to every guest.

Didn't like that the pool and sauna were only for adults. Not available for small children I understand but for teenagers with 15.... I didn't go myself because I didn't wanted to leave him alone.

The staff were friendly and there were lots of facilities for the children which was appreciated. The large hopscotch in the foyer was a nice touch. The beds were very comfy. The selection at breakfast was excellent. Was lovely to have some Swedish meatballs! As we were driving the large car par, although very busy, was a nice bonus.

Breakfast was great. Overall good value. Nice (even thoug small) pool. Family friendly hotel.

Pool reservations are easy but as a standard limited to once per stay, which seems odd. In practice you canbook once per day via link and more via reception if there is availability. Some things could be in better shape (showers in the pool dressing room, football table in lobby was broken)

Easy access, close to the highway but very calm.Free parking in front, check inn very fast and easy. Comfortable family room, nice space, door in between the two rooms. Large bathroom, very clean. Extra confortable beds, sofa bed with a thinner mattress 🤗… Very good breakfast ! And very discreet and gentle personnel.
