This is a truly beautiful property The rooms add great Common areas awesome An amazing very long infinity pool with view over the ocean Great staff and service Very nice breakfast The gym is very good by hotel standards We did not use the spa but it looked nice The resort is great if you are looking for a quiet vacation There is a small fishing town 10 mins away with lots of charm and restaurants and massage It is some distance to Phuket Town Patong and other places If you want to party, this is not the place to come

Liked everything Saw some reviews that were very unreasonable and unfair This is a 5 star resort You cannot compare it to 6 stars like Four Seasons that are 4 times the price This is tremendous in quality and value

Lovely resort - very relaxing atmosphere. Huge pool and we loved the small beach. Spa facilities were great, as were the yoga/pilates classes and gym. Very friendly staff too. We would definitely go again.

Building works that were not advertised at the time of booking. This is the second trip I’ve booked through booking.com where there weee building works at the hotel. This really needs to be advised at the time of booking because it spoils the enjoyment of the holiday. Also, I was trying to escape from building works at home. I would expect advance warning and/or some kind of discount or voucher. I wouldn’t advise coming to this hotel with young children as there’s little for them to do. It’s more of an adult hotel. Room was spacious and clean but a little outdated. Jellyfish were unfortunate but they were everywhere in Phuket. Not a hotel issue.

I normally never leave reviews but this was genuinely an amazing stay. We came here at the end of our Phuket trip for two nights and both wish we could have stayed here longer. It’s most definitely a more chilled vibe and I would say for couples however we had the Panwa suite and it did not disappoint. It was modern, clean and a lovely view. The hotel pool is really nice and the bar staff at the pool bar were excellent. Definitely on the pricier side but I feel like you get what you pay for. We ventured out five minutes away and got a lovely massage and went to the little strip which had restaurants and food plus clothes market. The beach by the hotel had a few jellyfish as the tide was low but it was still very pretty. Would definitely stay again

Honestly nothing, breakfast was good however maybe a few more options for salad would be good but even that is nit picking! They already have more than enough!

It was a fantastic experience! I traveled with my parents, and we stayed in a suite for the three of us. Despite arriving late during check-in, all the staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast included in our package was excellent, both the food and the view while eating.

The only small complaint I have is that I felt the room was not well-prepared when we checked in, which is disappointing for a five-star resort. The hairdryer didn't work, the security box didn't work, and we were only provided with 2 sets of robes/towels/slippers while we had already paid extra fees for 3 persons during the stay before checking in.

The resort is great; our pavilion suite was excellent, and it had everything we needed and more. It has traditional Thai architecture, and this is something we were looking for. The bathroom is almost as big as the bedroom, so it's quite impressive. The balcony has an amazing view towards the sea and a tropical garden. You can hear a lot of birds singing, which is amazing. The staff is kind and helpful. There is a choice at breakfast. However, I find it a bit repetitive ( if you are staying for longer, you may get a bit bored). I have mixed feelings about the location of the hotel; on one side, it is great that it is away from the craziness of Patong and the surrounding areas; however, that makes it a bit difficult to move around if you don't have a car. We were with our 21 months old toddler, and we rented a car so for us, it was not a problem, but it may be if you don't have your own transportation and you don't have planned activities( boat tours, elephant sanctuaries etc) which usually come which free hotel pick up and drop off. Overall it was a great experience - a tropical paradise in Phuket!

Breakfast could have been more diverse

Everything was so special and never seen such a precious and wonderful place like this before . Staff were completely amazing yet , the villa we had was truly incredible and clean and i will always come back to this resort. I could rate this place more than 5 stars .

Everthing was wonderfull especially helpfull and smiling staff. Desing of otel is amazing. They are carry you with golf cart to everywhere. You feel like in the middle of nature with luxry. Overall great ecperience. Good choice for couples.

Just a bit far from center but i would advice use Bolt gor taxi. For air port normal taxi is 1400 tbh but with bolt it is around 500 tbh. But it is not fault of otel. And activities of that otel advices are expensive you need find it yourself for cheaper prices to do trips like islands or elephant and tiger petting etc.

Amatara Hotel in Phuket was the perfect getaway for us as a Greek couple visiting for a week. The breathtaking room views, heavenly spa treatments, and relaxing yoga sessions made our stay unforgettable. The staff were incredibly polite, the pool and surroundings were serene, and while the location felt exclusive and remote, it was still convenient with tours offering pick-up services. Fantastic value for money—we’d love to return someday! Breakfast was exceptional, though dinner left room for improvement—the only minor downside to an otherwise unforgettable stay!
