Size of the standard double room is good so it feels less suffocating and you have more space to move around comfortably and having a spacious hotel room gives a very good feeling. The location of this Ibis hotel in Annemasse is really a strong positive and its biggest plus as there is a tram stop right in front of the hotel where a tram quickly takes you right to the center of Geneva so travelling to and from Geneva via this no. 17 tram is super convenient.

The standard double room although good in size lacks a small fridge and a comfortable sofa and a better chair. A waste bin for the room is needed too. The Buffet breakfast although nice enough but still it can be enriched by adding some more basic variety of food like a bread with slices ( that I just saw for one day during my 3 night stay) to quote one example.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The recently refurbished room was large and had a wet room which we appreciated. Wifi and aircon worked well. The staff will produce microwave meals, but there is an Italian restaurant within 5 minutes walk - turn right out of the hotel to find "C'era una Volta"; it has tables outside and makes more than pizza. The real reason for staying here is the stop right outside for the no 17 tram into the centre of Geneva. It's about a 25 minute ride, and there are no border formalities passing from France into Switzerland

On arrival, I did not go into the garage, since it looked like a builders' yard. This was a mistake, since a big step makes wheelchair access very difficult from the car park. So I reversed and used the garage. There is quite a steep slope out of the garage to get to the lifts. The lifts are small, and it is tricky to get even a small wheelchair in. In front of the hotel there is a gentle slope for wheelchairs which is accessible until the gandarmerie park their minibuses across it. Fortunately, some gendarmes were on hand to lift my wife in her wheelchair!

Reasonably good hotel close to Geneva and in good price. It's nothing fancy, but the fact that there is nothing wrong with it and it is offered in these prices next to Geneva is exceptional. Access to Geneva centre is about 30mins with tram (the hotel is in front of the tram stop).

There are small things that could improve the stay without essential extra cost, like putting some glasses in the rooms for water drinking.

The hotel is just in front of a tram station directly connected to the city center. The staff is polite and helpful. The breakfast was great containing different types of bread, cheese and fruits as well as egg. The room has a beautuful view to the mountains and it is cleaned every day. Welcome sweets is available at anytime!

Really nothing. Just it took around 20-25 min to reach the city center. If you are in hurry, this might be a problem.

Nice hotel with good connection to the center of Geneva. Nothing fancy, but nothing wrong either, so, given the price, it is a really good deal. I have stayed here three times and never had any serious issue.

Cleanliness could be improved. Also some equipment in the room could be offered without any essential extra cost for the business, for example glasses for water.

A 20 min. tram ride from Geneva or 10 min. walk from Annemasse train station. The hotel is located right next to a tram stop within walking distance to a supermarket and restaurants. Breakfast was super with fresh pastry and bread, scrambled eggs, french cheese as well as cold cuts and fruits. The room and the bathroom were spacious and well designed.

Liked everything.

Although the hotel is quite old, my room on the fifth floor was a renovated one with high quality of facilities and comfort. Bathroom was beautiful. Room is spacious, clean and comfortable.

There wasn't a safe or a mini bar \ fridge. In the bathroom, having a shelf or fixing the soap to the wall could improve the usage comfort.

Room was extra clean, bed comfortable, location is good, tram sation to Geneva center is in the front of the hotel.

On the last morning of my stay, the security guy was rude and unprofessional. At the entrance to the hotel, he questioned me as if I was a criminal. Unacceptable behavior towards hotel guest.

The breakfast was perfect, and everything was readily available with a variety of food. The hotel is well located as it is near the CBD with a tram station at almost the door step of the hotel.

Extension of the time for breakfast by an hour or just 30 minutes because you find that during this time of the year, 7 hours is still dark

The available parking and nearness to a tram stop. The room was big enough and quite comfortable.

The whole lobby smelled of cigarette smoke. Some people were also smoking at the back door downstairs and the smoke came through the window in our room on the 6th floor. We had a smoke free room.
