What you absolutely can not overestimate is the location right on the water. .... really really beautiful. The rooms were very clean and well kept - although spare, we had no complaints at all. The staff, especially Corine at the front desk was excellent.

The restaurant on the property was very limited. We were there for 5 days and given other options to dine (other than pizza) were a bit of a hike, I think this restaurant would have benefited from an expanded menu and quite possibly another chef.

This hotel made us upset we were only there for one night. We loved the access to the water and the beach. The facilities were quite nice. It felt like we were getting more than what we paid for.

This is random, but everyone there was really, really quiet. This is not a bad thing, but no one even spoke by the pool, and we felt a little weird having our kids in the pool making kid noises. There were no other children there at all. Pre-child me would have loved that, and there were no issues with having the kids there, but the place had more of a couples vibe.

Location was amazing. Looking straight out to the sea was magical

The restaurant prices were extortionate. No one ate there due to this. At lunch it was the formal menu and only snacks between 3-5.. and half the time it was closed.

The balcony and the sea view was the best thing. We couldn’t get enough of this view. It was good to have the swimming pool as it was quite hot. There’s also access to the sea and a pebble beach.

The restaurant was very expensive so we ended up eating elsewhere but it’s a good 25-min to 35-min walk into town depending on where you go. The breakfast at 21 euros was also very expensive for what we got. I expected an outstanding breakfast. We stayed in 2 others hotels in Ajaccio and Calvi and the breakfast in both places were at 12 euros and had exactly the same buffet or even better than Alivi’s one.

The little romantic beach below the hotel is absolutely beautiful. Lots of sea life to explore, too, and our toddler really enjoyed that. The sea view from the room/balcony is breathtaking, we could not get enough of that. The food in their restaurant is also exquisite, we visited a few top rated restaurants in Bastia during our short stay but to us, l’Archipel was the one with the most original and delicious menu. The staff was also always kind and helpful if needed.

The hotel itself was amazing and there are no complaints from us.

1. We informed the hotel in advance about our early arrival, and the room was ready and waiting for us. Thank you so much to the staff. 2. A direct access to the see and availability of sunbeds, umbrellas and towels. We never experienced any problem with finding a free space at the pool area. 3. A good restaurant at place although quite expensive. 4. Free parking and availability of a charching station for electric cars.

1. The swimming pool is small and its bottom was dirty (hair, dead insects, patches, leaves, etc). When one swam or moved, all this dirt would rise from the bottom and it was very uncomfortable to swim. We would suggest the hotel acquire a robot-cleaner to clean the bottom at night time. This was the only thing we did not like and it can be easily changed. The cleanliness inside and around the building is perfect. 2. A car is recommended to reach the center, but its renting fee is incredibly expensive on Corsica in summer.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The garden and sea view were beautiful. The sound of the waves from our balcony added to our enjoyment. Within 5 minutes from the ferry port, with easy access and space around the hotel for good parking. We had a kettle in the room and enough space for luggage. The hotel restaurant had a nice pool and sea view and open for lunch and a popular place for dinner. Breakfast is served in a different area starting at 6:45. A perfect place to stay in order to catch an early morning ferry.

We stayed only for one night at the end of our holiday in Corsica. The staff let us use swimming pool and beach even before the check-in time (we arrived at noon) Swimming pool is small but very pleasant. Sea view is superb during both afternoon and morning time. All rooms on the sea side are provided with a small terrasse. The rooms are modern and very clean, beds are very comfy. Location is perfect if you need to catch your ferry: it's only 5min by car. Free parking in front of the hotel is very useful.

Access to the sea is very steep. The gravel beach is very small and not very confortable, especially for kids. The hotel does not seem to have family rooms (4 persons or more), therefore we had to reserve 2 separated double rooms. Rates are quite expensive.

- LOCATION: very good. Pebbles beach just some steps away from the pool. City center 10 mins by car. Hotel has parking spaces which is very convenient. - BREAKFAST: very good. Eggs and bacon, charcuterie, fruit, toasts, various fresh fruit jams (also individual bottles of commercial jam) delicious croassants, pains au chocolate, youghourt... - STAFF: everybody is nice and friendly. - ROOM: good size and clean. Comfortable beds. mini fridge to keep your drinks cold (they are not provided, it was not a problem for us). Great view, you sleep with the sound of the waves. - RESTAURANT by the hotel: good meal for a special night, but too much for every day (expensive). Waiters were very nice. - FITNESS room with bike, eliptical, running machine, small sauna cabin. - SWIMMING POOL: a bit cold during our stay in Easter sadly, but nice overlooking the sea with sunbeds around it.

Nothing. I would just add a restaurant service at the hotel to be able to have dinner there / room service.

Spotless, peaceful with exceptionally comfortable and beautiful sea views. Staff (receptionists, restaurant/bar staff, groundskeepers and cleaner alike) were all exceptionally helpful and friendly. Pool is great, the private beach attached is rocky not sandy but it is a beautiful place for a swim once you navigate the stones. The restaurant is delicious and we looked forward to gorging on a spread of hot and cold fresh breakfast buffet items every morning with a lovely cappuccino to wash it down.

It's a 20-30 minute walk to Bastia centre which is not a big problem if you're fit and enjoy a walk, but a car is probably advisable otherwise. It is very difficult to find any negatives otherwise.
