Pleasant room, comfortable bed and good bathroom. Loved the parrot wallpaper. Location was excellent, within 10 minutes flat walk of the Prefecture for the airport bus and the train station for days out elsewhere. Excellent location for cafes, restaurants and sightseeing in Bastia. The building had character and secure. I felt safe as a solo traveller.

A real surprise find ... The hotel rooms are situated on the second floor of an aging city apartment block, above the cafe / restaurant of the same name. The interior of the hotel has been extensively refurbished to a high standard, with crisp paint and decoration, wooded floors and good air conditioning. We booked connecting rooms, both of which were fairly compact (but as expected), expertly decorated and fitted out with great care and attention. The brasserie .. Le Cafe du Centre has a good menu, with excellently cooked, reasonably priced food. Could have sent hours at the tables on the pavement, drinking coffee, pastis and wine, watching the world go by.

The hotel rooms are accessed via a door on the street ( to the left of the cafe) and then a secure door on the second floor. In theory they are accessed via an app on the mobile. This was fairly frustrating and difficult to use, and often did not work. The alternative key fob worked perfectly. just needs better tech.

Central location, friendly welcome. Modern bathroom and spacious bedroom area. .A different concept - an old apartment divided into bedrooms with a huge common sitting room which I didn't use. After a long day of travel the comfortable bed was perfect. In the morning the staff organised my taxi to the airport.

We only stayed for one night in Bastia and it was great. We had two rooms there. The AC was excellent during the heat wave. The location is perfect for exploring Bastia on foot. Parked in the nearby underground lot. Attached to a lovely Cafe that seemed quite popular with locals and guests.

Bedroom was small but big enough for a solo traveller. It was well appointed with everything you need. Location was excellent and reception was very accommodating letting me check-in early.

Wifi did not work! Annoying when you are trying to plan your days ahead.

Check-in system is efficient & practical. Great location in the town area. There were some lovely Canistrelli biscuits with the tea/coffee making facilities which I really appreciated. I was able to leave my bags in the café after checking out while I went to the beach before my bus was due to leave.

I like being able to talk to someone at reception. The check-in/out system removes the need for this which feels somewhat impersonal to me. Not a criticism, more of a personal preference.

Loved staying at Monsieur Miot. Location of Monsieur Miot was perfect - very central, easy to find and 50/100metres from car park. Check in was easy at the cafe downstairs. We had 2 rooms (we had 6 & 7) with interconnecting door. Rooms were thoughtfully designed and beautifully decorated. Great showers and separate loos. Breakfast in cafe downstairs was delicious. Would definitely stay here again.

WiFi was not consistent but I guess that was the old buildings substantial walls...not an issue for me but my teen daughter likes to stay connected! ;)

Amazing staff helped us to find out the train schedule on a bank holiday, even though his english wasn't so good. Because of him, we managed to get on the train on time. Thank you! Very modern room, high ceiling, very clean, bed is comfortable, good bathroom amenities, good location right next to the square. 10 minutes walk from the port. We were family of 3 and it was nice that where was 2 rooms. Super simple check-in! We loved it!

I was very impressed by the key-free accommodation and self-check in (even if it took me a while to figure the system out). The room is spacious, and modern, and the cafe downstairs is a nice place to have breakfast.

Perfect location, tasteful and clean room, and the only place I stayed in Corsica with a refrigerator in the room!

Nothing essential but it would be perfect if it had some kind of view.
