Good location 5 mins to station and close to the rest of town. Room has been refurbished and is very comfortable. Soundproofing, comfy bed and big bathroom basin, handy for washing. Lots of power points around the room as well as USB-A and USB-C charging ports on both sides of the bed. The lady on reception was very welcoming.

I arrived early and just wanted to store my luggage until check-in time but the girl on duty kept telling me I couldn’t check in. Not a great welcome but it could be due to the language barrier. Weirdly, you have to keep pushing in the hair dryer plug for it to work so with one hand on the plug and the other on the dryer it’s a bit inconvenient. But this is minor.

We liked the property very much. It is very clean, the towels are changed every day and they have very nice shampoo and body gel with smell of jasmine and bergamot, almost like five stars hotel. The position is central, very closed to the train and bus station. This was important to us as we took the train from Bastia to Ajaccio. You can also do a long walk to the Arinella beach, it takes less than hour by foot. The breakfast was very good, nice big croissants and brioche.

Ideal location, within walking distance of the centre of the old village with its splendid architecture and myriad of restaurants to choose from. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel building is stunning, with marble staircases, bathrooms and wall murals that add that special touch.

This is not a "didn't like", but rather a heads up for other travellers. There is no lift, so you will need to climb a number of stairs to get to your room with luggage. Help is on hand though from staff if you need it.

I thought the staff at Hotel Continental were outstanding, so friendly and helpful, and always greeted you with a smile. The breakfast was outstanding. I would definitely stay here again. The location is perfect if you are coming or going by Ferry because you can walk there from the terminal.

Very nice staff, helpful and attentive at the reception and during breakfast. The breakfast was good quality, except for the coffee machine that was also used for hot tea water. it was lukewarm. Everything else looked fresh, tasty and there was plenty. Location is great between ferry port and train station.

The rooms are small, but as we were only for one night in Bastia, all fine.

The bed felt high quality and like new with lots of padding, was amazing. The design of the room and bathroom is really beautiful and modern. Very clean. The location downtown was perfect and the views from the windows were really nice. Everything worked perfect. A regular hair dryer was a nice change from the low power wall dryers I experienced at the other hotels. Great bathroom lighting. Extra towels was a plus. Good insulation between the rooms. AC was over the top great. Staff was very friendly. Cool old fashioned like elevators.

Throw pillows on bed can go.

Very warm and friendly staff at reception. Nice location within walking distance from all the main attractions. Comfortable and spotlessly clean room and facilities. Very nice breakfast. The room was very cool in spite of the very hot weather outside.

There was no parking at the hotel. Also there was no pool. This was expected so it was not a problem.

Tricky lift to work and on some floors clear glass on outer door a hazard, no strips to warn you ( and even at ground floor level, they’re to high for me to see. Small room with tiny shelves as bedside tables. Shelf under window would have been very helpful.

This hotel has just been completely refurbished and it is very, very nice. Large comfortable bed, quiet room overlooking the street, central Bastia, and lovely breakfast (including Corsican cheeses and home-made brioche). Helpful staff. Free wi-fi. Small modern lift.

Nothing could have been better.

We booked this for a night as we had an early flight from the airport the next morning. The hotel is located a short walk (<5mins) from the station (as well as the airport shuttle bus). It's also not far from the old town and harbour. The room suited our needs and the staff were friendly and allowed us to store our luggage when we arrived early.

A cosy room but this was expected considering the city location and price
