Fabulous service to the Ferry Port Thank you for the pizza and 1664 beer.

Despite the very remote location and difficult access, the rooms are beautifully made and as soon as all works are done (some stuff not finished yet), this is a wonderful place to stay. Amazing view on the sea!

The location was hard to find (Google Maps shows it incorrectly), it's a very steep old road going down and there was no sign on the building where to go.

Nice room in a new house, kitchen and living room shared with the 2nd room they have for rent. Beautiful view from high over Bastia, but only a 6 min drive to the harbor to catch the first ferry in the morning. Price is good value, but it has potential for a better rating if it would be cleaner better.

It's kind of hidden behind/below other houses. Needed advice from the friendly host via WhatsApp to find it in the darkness. Kitchen and all other rooms very nicely furnished, but unfortunately the cleanliness needs improvement. The fridge was dirty and mouldy, couldn't use it to cool our supplies for the night.

High quality accommodation

As per other reviews, very hard to find as I was looking for a hotel , not a private house. Unfortunately when I booked I was unwell and didn’t have the energy to read all the reviews .The 2 mile uphill walk from the train station was challenging and the google maps location for the property was 1/2 mile out

You must have a car and even then, driving up the winding mountain road is very scary

Up-to-date modern place with shared kitchen facilities for both rooms.

As first - it's very hard to find. Google navigation stops more than a mile away from the actual property. We had to ask people where the house is (and very rare of them understands English). Drive way, when you find it in the dead-end-street, it's very narrow and step. Not only this - it has at least 15 - 20 cm step, which is not suitable for normal cars - not to mention my sports car. Specially when climbing up the hill, I had to put some flat stones, so that I wouldn't damage the lip of the car. But I hit it any-way. So, you should have at least a SUV to access the place without any worry. We were missing the cutlery in the kitchen. Apartment needs a bit of refreshment (bathroom).

The room was OK and the bed was good. There was enought space for the luggage and a seperate bathroom. The room has a large window/door which opens up to the garden level.

Maison d'hôtes Bastia was really hard to find, we had to ask several neighbors to find the house. Due to the mogul slope to the house and the not yet completed transition to the parking lot, I demolished my car. The landlord shrugged his shoulders, but didn't offer any help. Note: there are two rooms that are rented, but only one kitchen, which may have to be shared with other tenants. Unfortunately, the toilet seat in our room was completely loose and overall the apartment and the house make an unfinished impression

Location was great, although very hard to find.

It was dirty, not very comfortable (hair in bathroom and toilet, toilet paper was not enough and the one that was there was located on the toilet brush, spider webs and an insect on bed) The worst was the broken shutter. It was so hot at night. Awful.
