Superb welcome and breakfast from the host. The place had everything we would want for a short, overnight stay. It is a 2 min walk to the centre of the village.

Parking is on the street and arrival on Saturday evening, meant the street was busy. Plenty of other parking in the surrounding streets though.

We liked how cosy our room was, every detail was well thought of. The room was designed with a lot of love. The owners were very kind, and the breakfast was amazing. We enjoyed the owners homemade cooking. They also heloed us booking a table at a restaurant. We had a lovely time next to our business trip.

We had no complaints on our side.

Quirky and arty interior. Comfy beds with hard matras, which we like. Breakfast was excellent with American pancakes, french toast, raisin brioches, baguette, scrambled eggs and fruit salad. Friendly hosts! Cute cats, which were introduced only after asking our permission. We are cat lovers, so this was the icing on the cake.

The bathrooms have no real doors. So going to the toilet is not very private.

The hosts are so welcoming and our room was very comfortable with delightfully quirky decor. It is so much more than a standard hotel room. The room is quiet and we slept well on a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was great - way more food than we could possibly eat with home made jams and really good coffee. Would recommend to our friends and would definitely stay here again. Also, there was off street parking for our bicycles.

Nice property with a large open room that was decorated with antique French furniture and fittings. It also had free parking outside and we were provided with a good breakfast in the morning. The owner was also very helpful in advising and booking for us a very good restaurant.

The stairs to our room were quite steep but there was nothing else of note.

Host was extremely welcoming and pleasant. The apartment is super. The location is great 👍

Unfortunately, there were extensive street works taking place which caused confusion with sat nav..

Loved the character of the building and interiors, the hosts were excellent.. friendly, welcoming and kind. Our lovely room was a loft, very spacious with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. A really great overnight stay.

Only very minor things…the shower was too low for tall people, and we could not get the TV to work…

Breakfast was fantastic. The hosts are amazing and super friendly. The town is also quite quaint and an easy drive from the Euro tunnel. It is surrounded by old city walls which make for a nice after dinner walking area to stretch legs after a long drive. We tried to book again for our return journey after staying we liked it so much but not surprisingly they were full. Definitely recommend.

Only negative was we went during a mini-heatwave and although they did provide us with a fan the room was hot until late evening. However, air-conditioning is definitely not typical in most places in Europe so while it would have been nice it was not expected. The room was amazing nonetheless

Lovely quirky place to stay. Very friendly welcome from Valerie, felt like staying in someone's home. Very conveniently located for exploring the lovely centre of Bergues. Good restaurant recommendation nearby.

We have stayed before, and as we expected it was simply excellent. The breakfast was again outstanding.

A door, rather than a curtain to separate the bathroom from the rest of the studio would have been nice.
